I have been without phone service and internet service for 3 days. I have called from cell phone and work phone for 3 days and have been disconnected several times and have been on hold for hours. I cannot get in touch with cablevision, but I can guarantee they will charge me for services that I am not receiving. Time to call Jim Dolan, owner of cablevision, constantly!!!, until I get satisfaction. His offices are at Penn Plaza and at MSG. They charge us $175.00 for triple play!!

PLACED an order 5-24-2011 to install tv calbe and internet service received an order number called 6-7-2011 to confirm installation date as 6-10-11 and they do not service my area even though they found around my neighborhood.07734 is my zip code...whats wrong..

ordered tripple play- at the 29,99 each and was billed 223.oo no tripple play in my area they claim.

they have emailed someone to review my status.

the worst, waited 30 minutes.
and then told it was AT&T although they checked settings.
I have no emails for 3-4 days, randomly being erased from account and no resolution.

Vios here I come.

Just a special thanks to Ray, Tech #3228. We had all our copper pipes stolen at 783 Milton Turnpike and because the rest of the pipes froze we lost our phone service. He showed up and did a wonderful job of getting us back in service. No cell service up there. Just wanted you to know, his type of service is appreciated, the human kind. Thanks for having people like him.

Cablevison field service employees need a union there are alot of issues within management. Management encourages there field service employees that unions are bad. so management cant dictate the assignment given to employees as well as hand out as much work as they wan,t because there is no voice to speak up for the employees. management manipulates the the numbers unfairly to rate each technician so no one can achieve over a 3% raise. They use the perks of not having to pay for cable; But thats only if you live in a cablevision area to be fulfillment enough not to get a union. Time warner employees have unions and have free cable. Often many employees are scared to speak up because management loves to imply that there lucky to have a job. Unfairly using the economy to sike employees out about a union. i am an employee and for one am not scared of change especially in yonkers cablevision

cablevision is an absolute joke. i cant get fios in my building so im stuck. i have hbo stars and internet for $170.00 a month which is crazy. I called and the guy that i got assigned after 1/2 hour cant find my name in the computer even though i have my address and phone #. this jackass cant understand fuel tv which is why i called. i tried to spell it for him but he just didnt get it. i had to get some stupid package to get it so i said no and he hounded me to order it. the real kicker is that i used to be an inhouse tech for cablevision doing installs and service calls. i know how bad cablevision treats their underpayed techs but whatever the customer service guy makes, i assure you he is overpayed.

Great service, great help and support. My service is great and I got a great deal with the bundle all of em for $99.99 plus my fukin HBO n starz . Its good and my girl dont complain anymore. I just shut her up n tell her to watch a movie. Shes kinda crazy sometimes ya know... gotta keep her on lock. Anyways thanx for givin me somethin tht actually work.

I am very displeased with this company. I had to wait two weeks to transfer my service from my old address to my new address. The first service agent that came to set up services for my new apartment looked confused and flustered as if he did not work for the company.I had to make numerous appointments there after to resume my cable services. when the service agent came out to turn on my cable he refused to take back an unnecessary box. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a service company. ablevision You should be ashamed and try to improve your services ASAP. P.S Hire individuals whoknow how to perform their job duties!!!!!!!

I must say that, so far, my whole experience with Cablevision with my 3 for one service has pleasantly surprised me. My installation person was on time, fast, complete and not to mention a genteleman. Since then, my service has been great. I am billed what they said I was going to be billed ($148.oo per mth). A couple times my router was not connecting with the service and when I called, I got complete and easy instructins on how to reboot it and it started immediatley. So for now, I am happy with the service. So hopefully when my contract is up,I am able to get a new contract for the same bundle price and not get a balloon payment for something I cannot afford. But for thank now, thank you Cablevision and the 2 great representatives that came to my home in the Bronx to sign me up and explain the cost savings and all the extra services that with signing up. Thanks

YOU ARE THE MOST UNPROFFESSIONAL COMPANY. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE. YOU WENT AND PUT IN MY ACCT FOR COLLECTION EVEN THOUGH I OWE YOU NOTHING. I HAVE CALLED OVER AND OVER AND BY NOW PROBABLY SPOKE TO ALL YOUR REPS. THEY ADMIT THEY MADE AN ERROR BUT AS OF TODAY HAS STILL NOT REPORTED THIS TO THE COLLECTION AGENCY.

I am confident you will recognize this document for it is a complaint and am quite sure you have received a few of these in the past. I suspect it will do nothing more than amuse the person that opens it prior to them throwing it away. When I realized the special package I was paying $99 per month for had ballooned to $135 even after I dropped the voice feature I called one of you finest customer service reps. When I was told of all these features I had that I do not even use I was very angry. The rep extraordinaire that I had on the line reminded me I get a bill each month and she suggested that I look at it. I decide to hang up as my insides were becoming one big knot. I called FIOS and was told it would not be in area till February. I decided to call you guys back and attempt to downgrade my service till I can switch to FIOS. I was blessed with another genius on the other line. I told him I wanted to go over everything line by line. He said I would get “Basic Cable “channels 2-22. I said I wanted the Sports Package, he said that would be $5.95. So we went channel by channel and he said what I would have The Golf, Tennis and MSG. Yes, you are probably saying to yourself “no, we do not offer the sports package with basic cable”. I found that out after I tried to tune into the Golf Channel. I had had enough so I called to disconnect my service entirely. I was sent to Janet 48Q in retention who told me she was very sorry for what had happen to me in the past but would like to try to make it right. She offered the lowest rate she could and said it could be turned on November 7th. She said if I had any problem I could call her back. I know this may be a shock but November 7 has come and gone and I still do not have my channels. I called Customer service and they said they could not do anything because the retention department offered the deal. I called Janet 48Q back and she yelled at me saying she did her job and it is not her problem but a customer service issue. She gave me Toby who was a “supervisor” who was rude and condescending, telling me I am the one that is not understanding. He could not do anything and I had to call customer service and make an appointment! Now I want you to factor n that each phone call includes anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes on hold so you can get a clear picture of why people may be less than pleasant and understanding. This letter is going to make its way to every place that will print it.

I have been on hold for over a half an hour now as I write this. All the channels are screwed up, or they are just a blank screen. i.e. NY1 has AMC...AMC has NY1..Bravo has ESPN...etc. It's 2:21 am and no one has picked up after being on hold since 1:45am...how can that be? Are there that many callers at this hour? Cablevision is the worst!!!

I would like this communique forwarded to the CEO of Cablevision and ask him what his immediate intentions are to make this deplorable situation right with Cablevision's long-standing customers who have been denied programming contracted for and paid for by me as a customer. Having missed the MLB playoff games, scheduled Giant and Jet football games, and now the World Series, as well as on-going news and entertainment programming for two weeks has grown untenable and unacceptable!!! What are you sir going to do to make this right from a public relations stand point to your previously loyal, paying customers??? Please e-mail your response promptly or I will be discontinuing my Cablevision affiliation and switching to a company who understands proper customer response in a crisis situation! P. Cablevision sucks butt. We r on the phone holding and going thru pressinng mad buttons that arent even needed. The cable is completly frozen and we can't get on our favorite show. For some reason the one in the kitchen is working but not the livingroom. Its all frozen and the only channel that's working is the one that's recording and all the other channels r all grey and ugly. They suck more then ever.

had to call for service three times this week!
each tech. says and does something different and we still have no picture or sound. Each time we waited they kept changing the original
time to come. Waited last night for a 5 to 8 and had to call them at 9:30 to say no one came. The answer was well someone can still come until 11:00. We want to look into Fios or Direct TV. Cablevision is a big ripoff!

Cable man came @ 8pm. Put in new box. Within 2 min. sound was gone. Called immediately. Given appt. for between 8 & 11am. Never came. Called again. No service call on the schedule for me. Now staying home AGAIN for the SECOND DAY until 8pm.Service rep was very sorry.Can't be angry with phone person,not his/her mistake.Who's mistake is it? Where is this person? No one knows. CABLE STINKS!!!!!!!!!!

Cablevision charges $155 a month for this:
- internet service that is intermittant and requires the power source to be turned off and then on a minimum of once a day
- telephone service that, when the internet goes down, ceases immediately, even in the middle of a phone call, and stays dead (no dial tone, nothing!) for minutes at a time
- technicians that give you a different answer every time you try to remediate this problem. I had SIX DIFFERENT TECHS come to my house over the past four years and change the modem each time and NO ONE has been able tell me why my service sucks so bad. It is NOT my router.
- Customer service promises unfulfilled. I had a relationship manager come to my house to talk about this issue once and promised he'd be stop by two days later. Never seen or heard from him again.
- No NFL or MLB network. Get with the program already, Dolan, you friggin' thief!

Heck, I can't believe I was even able to post this thing before my internet went down again!

When I think of Cablevision only one word comes to my mind... and that is "SUCKS".

We have been subscribers since 1995. Not my choice but because the corrupt managers of our building disallow any of the owners to put dishes out our windows so we are forced to have cablevision or nothing. What a sweet deal it must be they made together.

They never give us any free promotions, ripping us off for $156.13 a month for the same service you all are paying much less for. Recently, the bill jumped $5 and just put me into a frenzy. But I must say, I am sick of them and will not take it anymore. I have cancelled all their services, now I will get verizon high speed internet for $19.99 and its a debate between vonage which would cost $34 a month for the phone or try the magic jack for $40 . Anytime I want to watch something on TV, just have to do it at someone elses place. Unless its on the local channels. NO MORE $156.13 a month for you CABLEVISION , you dispicable corporation.

I think this is horrible, I along with thousands of others look forward to watching these two stations, I would like to see these stations back by the end of the month or I will be changing to another company. Also, Cablevision does not even give us free movies on demand like Comcast and Verizon. Under the free catagories it is extremely limited. I would like to see movies under FREE ON DEMAND. They should also lower the cable bill now that these stations have been removed.

I have been a customer for over 15 years. I just recently switched my phone and computer to Cablevision as well. I will be switching all three services to Fios if Food Network is not retunrd to the channel line up.
