FreeCreditReport.com is horrible. They'll do anything to keep you from canceling your membership. I tried canceling about a year ago. The Customer Service Rep informed me I would no longer be charged. A month later I was charged $29 for a "Free" credit report that I never asked for, or even looked at. I called and was told by another CSR that she canceled my acct, but couldn't reverse the fee because "I agreed with the terms and conditions", which stated that if I canceled my acct, I would not be reversed any fees. Understandable, but what about the part where I tried to cancel it the first time? This happend a second time a month later, and I explained my situation to a manager. Same excuses. And without an apology the manager reversed half of one $29 dollar charge, and that was $90 dollars after I originally tried to cancel. Thanks alot FCR.com.
