Update: this is my second time in the store, over a hour waiting, my child is still in the car in tears and I am still waiting. The lady at the pharmacy was more pleasant and I am listening to a tech constantly complaining about the wait.

I use the Rite Aid on Hanover Street on occasion because my kids' pediatrician is right down the road. On multiple occasions I have had to sit for over an hour waiting for the prescription to be filled. I have worked with a number of Rite Aid's in central PA and have never had to wait like I do in Carlisle. Today I sit in my car with my son in tears because he feels terrible and I need to get his antiobiotic in him. I try to explain this to the pharmacy staff in which I am met with a blank face and an older women not even responding but in a very condescending tone say to me, "well, are you going to wait?" Of course, I am going to wait as there are no Rite Aids close to me and I am not going home to drive 20 minutes in the opposite direction to get to one. Not only is the wait in edible long always, the service that I received from the women at the pharmacy was intolerable. Please keep in mind that I work at a Rite Aid part time, so I see both sides of situation. There is never a reason to treat customers like that, especially when they are waiting a very long time for their meds.
