Cannot get my emails to pull up for a week now tried everything that was on the internet
Read the reviews below to see the experience other people have had when dealing with customer service from Tracfone.
I purchased a tracfone and 60 mins in early jan 2017 and have have some problems ,first setup,then to make a call to canada,then to add extra mins.as you can see I had to add an extra 60mins ,my problems are that I consumed many minutes trying to get help,I don't think its fair ,infact very discouraging. I would appreciate if you would give me credit time even if it was for part of my cost which I believe was due to inefficiency,s..Looking forward to your reply Russell
I have been a tracfone customer for at least 10 years. I recently had to buy a new phone. All I want is to be able to text and make and receive calls. The phone I received worked for about 10 days and then wouldn't let me do anything. They said I needed a new sim card, which they sent--it didn't work. Today I received a REFURBISHED phone. I have been in the process of activating it, transferring minutes, etc. Now I have to wait for 24 hrs. for them to transfer the number! Does anyone know of a pre-pain phone Co. with better service? I have about had it with Tracfone!
HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH TRACFONE!!! I'm not even a customer yet and I'm already furious with their service. Bought a Tracfone from Best Buy and when i went to activate it, Tracfone does not recognize the serial number and was told i should go back to the store and get it re-scanned. Went back to the store and they technically cannot get it re-scanned, they did a return and sale transaction. Still cannot activate. Started a 'ticket' (#1153637260), emailed my receipts twice and answered the same questions twice only to be told to go back to the store to have it rescanned. Went back to Best Buy and explained the problem, they didn't want to waste any time calling Tracfone's customer service since they were busy so they did another return and sale transaction except this time they changed it for another new phone (same model). Came home, try to activate it, again, did not recognize the new serial number either and was told to go back to the store and get it rescanned. I told Tracfone the reason Best Buy gave me another phone was because they didn't want to call customer service and i can't go back and hassle them again. Tracfone said there is nothing, absolutely nothing they can do for me, other than me basically returning the phone and going with another carrier, which is what i did. If i get such poor service when i am a potential customer, i can't even imagine what customer service would be like for actual customer.
On 11/30/2016 I went to check my phone when I needed to purchase airtime. I found out that my phone had been deactivated by someone in your company. I spent 2.5 hours trying to get my old number back. I was issued a new number. When I was issued a new number the my account app. Did not work. I was told several times to delete and reinstall a new app. The app. Would not show my remains balances. Today I spent another two hours trying to get the my account app. to show my balances. I was told to restore the factory settings and when I did the my account app. still did not work. I called back about two hours later and spent another two hours trying to get the app. to work. I was told to call tracphone every time I wanted to check my balance when it should have been done on my phone. I was also told to text the 611611 number and this did not work. I also tried to access the web site and this did not work either. I cannot believe that no one in your company can fix the problem where the my account app. Will show my account balances. I have been a tracphone customer for about six years now. This is the first time I have had a problem that no one could fix or did not know how to fix. I was lied too so many times during the times I was trying to get things fixed and unprofessional people that I was dealing with.
I have ordered airtime for many years. I purchased recently a 90 day for $21.12 on Oct.3 2016.
On Oct. 6 my discover card showed a purchase for Tracfone Services for $23.34. Number was shown too. I didn't purchase this item.Check my orders, I have only bought airtime from Tracfone. I want you to delete $23.34 charge from my Discover Card.
I just received my new LG TracPhone as I was told my 10 year old one must be replaced
due to a network change. After over an hour on the phone trying to transfer my minutes
(which they shorted me on) I tried to enter my contacts. There is no user guide and
I have no idea how to enter contacts or do anything else for that matter. This new
phone is useless! I have no idea what these "new" symbols mean. Big mistake switching
to LG!
I have been waiting for three hours to initiate service but my phone keeps saying "unregistered SIM."
I have tried three different Tracfone 800 number but always be a recording telling me to call back in 15 min.
If I have already paid for the phone and the minutes I'd throw this Tracfone piece of garbage in the can!
NO HUMAN CUSTOMER SERVICE AVAILABLE!!! DO NOT BUY A TRACFONE. I'm leave for Europe in a few hours and I'm stuck with this last minute problem!
Tracfone Is A Useless Wasted Problem Prone Company Who Doesnt Respect Their Customers And Causes Problem After Problem After Problem With No Solution Ever, Only Call Me Back, Long Distance At That. I Cant Pay My Landline Phone Bill This Month Due To All The Wasted Time And Long Distance Phone Calls I Have Made To Tracfone With Zero Results. I Wouldnt Recommend This Lousy Company To A Dog Let Alone Anyone Else. Believe Me They Are 250% Inefficient And Shouldnt Be In Business. Look What Wells Fargo Did To Their Customers. Well Here It Comes From Tracfone.
Within this current year your company has made it more difficult to those with just basic computer skills to buy airtime online. I was doing it for years. It took me over an hour to work my way through the "Maze" today. I tried to do it via telephone, but could not reach a live representative. I'm now thinking seriously of changing my cell phone company. I have hearing problems, and I find it difficult to understand your operators with a dialect. PLEASE, take me seriously.
I am very upset with tracfone I have had this for about 15 years and was pretty satisfied until about 3 months ago we no longer have a signal at our home. I called and they sent me a new sim card still no service called again they said i needed a 4g phone I spent 52.00 dollars yesterday at Walmart and still I have no signal that and the phone is difficult to operate. My husband also has a phone and his doesn't have a signal either even when we go outside no signal. I don't know what to do. Look for another carrier take back the phone. any suggestions?
I Tried to buy a smartphone today for the first time at another company. The sales person helping me was an angel and all was going smoothly until we contacted Tracfone to get my number ported. This sales person tried for 2 hours to get tracfone to release my number and all she got was the runaround. It was bad enough she was on hold with tracfone for an hour of those 2 hours, but when she finally got the number ported over and got to speak with an actual tracfone rep, tracfone wouldn't release the number. She spoke to three people and they all admitted the number was ported but could give no reason for tracfone not releasing my number. Finally, nobody wanted to deal with the situation anymore so they just decided to say the system was down and said to try again tomorrow. The sales person said she has seen other companies delay releasing a number but never so blatantly. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Not only will I never deal with tracfone again, I will try and convince my wife to give up hers. Every company I have ever dealt with to port a number over has done so within 2-3 minutes. Now I know why you don't want profanity in your comments. Every other word would be profane in describing tracfone. What an awful way to treat customers and then have the nerve to call it customer service. Shameful and no better than a scam.
Worst experience EVER!!!!!!!!!! Was on hold most of the time (35 minutes) in order to change my credit card info...When did it get this hard to be a good client? Had to answer every question at least 3 times or more and the agent (?) could never repeat back the info I had just given him...Is this just the newest form of scam to use up my minutes so I have to buy more? Looks like it to me
Trying to talk to a human being at straight talk or tracphone headquarters.phone was stolen last sunday afternoon. Stopped service. Was told could get same# back.After72 hours. The phone was recovered. Now having trouble getting the same number back.Have been dealing with this company for almost10 years with3 phones. Phone in question is part of business number. Would greatly appreciate your help. Was told by2 individuals that would get number back after the72 hour theft policy expired. We pay$155 a month to this company. Hope to continue if problem can be solved. I've referred atleast50 people because of the great service we've had. Hope to hear from you soon.
Bought a new tracphone because the screen on my old one is distorted; wouldn't even have bothered except that I have 1,262 MINUTES on it.Now I can't get them transferred to the new phone without getting a new SIM card sent to me! And I leave on vacation in 4 days (2 of them being a weekend). Like they think it will get here that quickly...don't think so! Now I have 2 phones that don't work - can't seem to get the old one activated again. Was on the phone with reps for OVER 2 HOURS - not acceptable and they didn't really care!! Same old run around - and agents hard to understand. WILL BE THE LASY TRACPHONE I BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
