I am presently sitting in the parking lot of Michaels on Veterans Boulevard in Metairie I walked in at 8:10 no employee Insite and one cashier by the time I got to the front to ask the one cashier if anyone can help me on the floor She called someone and they gave her the third degree on what did I want how did how can they help me they would not come out when I said don't worry about it and put my basket on the counter the cashier said are you sure this is ridiculous

My name is Rich and I am writing to Michael�s management regarding one of their locations on 601 W Baltimore Pike, Springfield, PA 19064. On Tuesday night, July 19th, 2016, I was in your store in process of purchasing some arts and crafts materials for my mother�s Flip Flop wreath project that I�m on the process of designing for my mother�s 75th birthday this Sunday, July 24th. The Flip Flop wreath is a surprise for my mother�s birthday. I was wondering around the store looking for sand, 3D stickers, and wreath wire ribbon. I was having hard time finding sand because I went to 3 other retail stores who did not carry sand. I was looking for a Michael�s sales associate who can help me locate sand. I located sales associate gal name Tara. Sorry, I do not know her last name. Tara was very kind, sweet, polite, professional, & great customer services. Tara was very helpful locating the bag of sand in isle 84 wreath section for me. Tara knew right off the bat where to the sand was located. Tara also pointed out where in the store I can find wreath wire ribbon and 3D Stickers. Tara was a real big help locating the materials items that I need for the wreath project.



Tara gave great customer services when I ask her regarding 3D Stickers that I was searching for. Tara stayed in the sticker isle with me and helped me pick out certain stickers that I need to complete the wreath project. With Taraââ?¬â?¢s help & assistant, it was less stress and frustration on finding the materials that I need. I wanted to write to Michaelââ?¬â?¢s management because I wanted to say thank you to Tara. Tara deserve customer services recommendation award because she shows great customer serves, cares for Michaelââ?¬â?¢s customers when they need assistant, leadership, works real hard, and dedicated to the retail industry. Also I would like to thank Taraââ?¬â?¢s manager, Ali, for her kindness & going out of her way to help me pick out blue wire ribbon. I was little confused whatââ?¬â?¢s the different between wire wreath ribbon and regular ribbon? Both Ali and Tara answer my question in a kindly fashion. I would like to say these 2 fine woman, Tara and Ali show excellent customer services, leadership, capable of working under pressure, & shows positive and determination. Please give Tara and her manager, Ali, customer services recommendation award. These two women deserve it. They work so hard in retail industry. Michaelââ?¬â?¢s arts and crafts store where you have very hard working men and woman dedicated to the industry. They work very hard what the do specially Tara and Ali. As a loyal customer and reward card member, I wanted to say, ââ?¬Å?Thank youââ?¬Â?, to management and sales associates specially Tara and her manger, Ali for all your help and having me in your store. When I know itââ?¬â?¢s time for another arts and craft design and create something fantastic, materials are needed, I know what store to drive to

Hello ,

I have been shopping in your stores several times for particular items
I think it is a fabulous concept and I wish you had stores around the world !
I did by some very small clay pots like more than 50 pieces , what i could not get and I do come out a department sore where i was for 17 years !
No packing tape professional to find i toke the dedicated person so much time ...
You should have tape on every register and branded with your name !
It is so important so may items in your store will use it !
What is it to do this nothing !
Really a great craft store and no tape on registers .... You must be kidding !
I hope I will see it one day
But you have everything it is amazing !

I got my TekWriterUSA GelWriter Gel Pens (10301207) and love the assortment of colors and the container they are in. My only issue is with the container. When it arrived the lid on the container is cracked and I'm concerned how long it will last. I don't like to talk on the phone and there isn't an email to send concerns to customer service. I hope they see this and get in contact with me. Ann Armstrong

As an artist and art educator I shop at Michaels all the time and encouraged students,parents, staff, and other artists to purchase products from your store. My complaint is about the pricing at Michaels store #4717. 14240 Baltimore Avenue, Laurel Maryland 20707. Numerous times items have been miss price over the years and I have let it slide. On 5/27/2016 I was fed up with a constant deception of pricing products in this Michaels store. When I got to checked out the flowers and frame were mispriced. Silk flowers that said 70% were priced higher and not at stated sale price. The manager said that the Spring flowers were 70% off. Why are the Spring and Summer flowers mixed together with a 70% off sign? Large quantities of flowers are mixed together in the wrong section. When I brought this to the managers attention, she made no efforts to correct the problem for customers. Also 2 frame were marked down, with a red sticker for $20.00 on the shelf. When I got to the register the frame rang up at regular price. The Lady in frame dept did offer to sell the frame for half price. She was sweet, but it was not fair for one to pay more than the originally stated stated sale price. Just wanted you to know the problems with this store and hope that they will do better. I am an employee at your bel air md store, I was hired by store manager Erin in early February, shortly after Erin transferred to another location, our new manager Pete took over cutting hours to 5 hrs a week, he is very disrespectful, mean, nasty, and totally unprofessional. Insulting employees over the radio, makings us belittle each other to his amusement, this man belongs in a cave not a retail store, this is my 2 weeks notice, and I'm glad to be free of the abuse, he took me off the schedule, then back on in one day with out notification,several employees have quite do to racism,and anxieties in the last 2 weeks, tell Pete Michaels may be impress ed with his brash behavior but us people with a soul won't be apart of this type of toxic infectious individual who obviously has issues with himself and others, well not my problem any more. there will be more that endure this abuse,but who is the overseer of tis operations should be ashamed before God, eclesastics 5:8, see that's why we should do business in grace of him. thank you for the opportunity,And good luck with sales this season, the job was fun,interesting,and enjoyed, prior to ,Mr. Pete

Forget about getting through to anyone who can help you. Phones continually ring or you get into a phone circle and speak to no one. If you do get someone finally, the numbers they give you put you right back in the circle going no where. I have tried contacting someone for the last 2 hours and made no progress whatsoever.

After call and asking the framing department in Michaels if they cut frame matting if someone brings it in this is what happened. The girl hesitated and said yes. On Sunday, 3/20/16 between 1:30-3 pm I went in to have this done, Chapel Mall area in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. When reaching the framing area the young girl said, "you're the one who called" and then told me that she wasn't to do this but said that she would because it was her mistake. Now, when you want a frame mat cut you want the outside piece, well she cut the inside piece and it wasn't even cut straight. This is why they should have people in this area that know what they are doing. She ended up messing up the outside big piece in the whole process. First of all she should have said that she wasn't to do this but would check with management to see if she could do it since saying on the phone that Michaels store will cut frame matting for customers. What a disaster!!

I would like to thank Michaels store employee, Sam Speaker in the Cedar Falls, Iowa store.
First of all, I special ordered some glass/ candle center pieces for my wedding. I got a phone call they were in in Cedar Falls. I drove down there ( an hour away ) and they were not. Only 1/2 the order was in.
Well, I kinda did the UGLY bride thing. With just 2 days before the wedding and no time to shop around and figure out what else I could do for the centerpieces. Sam could see I was upset. She was calling to all the other stores to find all the pieces. She found them in Ames, Iowa. Which was way more driving for me and I had no time before the wedding.
So she volunteered ! She drove an 1 1/2 hours one way to get them. And I was able to not have to change a thing on my special day thanks to Sam !! She was a life saver ! She is a true asset to the Michaels team !

I purchased a 16x20" frame at the Boca Raton store & had a problem placing the canvas in. We spoke with Nikko the store manager Saturday Feb.27. He was a delight to deal with & suggested we bring it in to him. Today, Sun. The 27th we did just that. Not only did he put it together for us he wrapped it too. I am sending Michaels KUDOS IN HAVING A STORE MANAGER THAT IS A STAR .

Manager Catlin had Mr standing in line for at least 10mins and never acknowledgedo me,with a polite I'll be with you ahortly. When I mentioned it,she still did not say a thing.
Once waited on she was going to let me run to my car for a coupon instead of asking if any other cashier had one. Since I questioned having to go to my car,she found one. The managers customers service skills leaves much to be desired. The cashiers are great!! Maybe she should watch them.

Michaels Stores - my nearest store is in Morehead City, NC and I go often. But I am not happy with the store policy of asking for my email address each time I check out. I'm going to stop giving it. I don't think it is necessary to be asked to give it constantly or to be asked to do online surveys. I won't do it.

I was just trying to shop on the Michaels website for the first time, and found it to be incredibly frustrating! I gave up, and did not complete my purchase tonight. First of all, I was attempting to purchase Kinetic Sand for my 4 1/2 yr old granddaughter, who loves Arts and Crafts more than any other activity. The website showed all Kinetic Sand, and related "Float" and "Build" play sets to be at a reduced price, which fits into my budget for a change. I am battling a life-threatening illness and am disabled, and my only income is Social Security, so the regular prices on the Kinetic Sand and related play sets are out of reach for me price-wise. I was thrilled to see the marked down prices, because my granddaughter is REALLY in love with this stuff, and would be on top of the world if she got some as a gift! So it just about broke my heart when I checked my cart as I was ready to check out and saw that I was being charged full price for each item I had selected, rather than the clearly advertised Sale Price that was shown on the Michaels website. Hoping it's just a glitch, and that I would get the Sale price after all if I explained all this to their Customer Service Department, I clicked on the Contact Us link to email that department. However the Customer Service email is non-functional. Over and over again I tried to get it to work, but I can't get past the first page. I chose "Customer Care" as the reason for my email (as opposed to "Online Orders", the only other option), and then click on "Next"--only to be shown the exact same page again! The only thing on the page is making a choice between "Customer Care" and "Online Orders" as the reason you are emailing, so it's not that Im over-looking something and being kicked back to the same page because it wasn't complete-there is only that one question there. My choice was clearly shown, and a green bar appeared, as the word "Next" became darker in color to show that I could now click on it to proceed to the next page--but I was never taken to that next page. I just kept getting the same first question choice over and over again. After nearly 3 hours of fighting with the website on an iPad, then a Kindle Fire, and finally a laptop computer, I am exhausted and STILL can't get to the next page of the email I want to send to Customer Service! It's too late to reach an agent by either telephone or the "Customer Service Chat" on the website, and Googling "Michaels Customer Care Email Address" came up totally empty (there is absolutely no way to find an email address for Michaels Customer Care Service on the web-you have to either go through that non-functioning link on the website or not be able to email them at all), so I'll have to try to reach someone tomorrow. Now I have two fears-first that tomorrow I'll be told that the Sale Price ended today, and I can't get the items at that Sale Price tomorrow, OR that I will be told they will allow me to purchase the items at the Sale Price-but that the things I really wanted to purchase tonight will be sold out tomorrow, thus crushing my dream of seeing my granddaughters flashing smile when she sees that she is holding her hearts desire in her own little hands-finally! (She's been talking about Kinetic Sand non-stop since seeing some at an Arts and Crafts exhibit her Mommy took her too quite a while back).

No matter what happens, I have to say that my first ever experience of (trying) to shop on Michaels.com has taken quite a toll on me. Chemotherapy leaves me with limited energy anyway, and mine is so gone now that I truly wonder if I'lll be able to make it from here to my bed without collapsing. And the mental/emotional drain is 10 times worse than the physical one. I can honestly say that I don't see me EVER attempting to purchase items on Michaels.com again after this first experience. And that's too bad, because Arts and Crafts is my little granddaughters joy in life, so most of the things I buy for her are "Arts and Crafts-related".

I hope someone from Michaels who truly cares about making shopping from them a positive experience for their customers sees this.

Michael's in Richfield, MN has a clerk, Erica, who is rude and admits she doesn't know her job. At checkout my total was too high for the sale prices, she argued with me, then went over to the sign and tried to lie to me that the sign only applied to a tiny number of products. When she tried to embarrass me by calling loudly to a manager as though I were the problem, she stated she didn't know which products the sign applied to. Told she was wrong in her assumptions, she never apologized and picked the most time wasting way to make the change. How many people did Erica rip off with her incompetence and rudeness? I called the customer service line as the website customer service does not work (the choice button just flips between orders and customer care), the agent, Rose, took Erica's side not concerned I was rudely treated or customers were essentially stolen from.

I WAS a customer at the store on Power and McKellips in Mesa, AZ but there is a manager there by the name of Shane that is unbearable. He's disrespectful both to customers AND employees. There was another manager there, I believe her name was Lindsay -I am probably spelling that wrong- that was always a delight and she always had to apologize to customers because of his rude behavior. I have seen a cashier run from their registers on more than one occasion because of how he talks to them. One he called an idiot. He told a customer he was sorry his cashier was an idiot. You ALLOW this but the managers that are always there, that take care of everyone, employees and customers alike, are the ones that run away because they're tired of being mistreated. I will continue to make an out of the way drive to the store on Stapley because the store manager there is an amazing woman. You need to get this Shane person in check because he is a disgusting person. The straw that broke the camel's back was overhearing him say that if he heard a child that was an aisle over cry again he was going to stick his foot up it's butt -I'm not using the word he used but you get the idea. I was asking an employee where something was and this is what I hear. I walked around the corner and saw it was him. Unacceptable. And you people are horrible for letting this continue.

I shop at Michaels in surgarhouse of Utah 84105 all the time. Its getting harder and harder to do so there is a manager there by the name of Cristy who is so rude to me when I'm there
She has made me cry a few times and its not just me its a few people I've seen her talk down to. I can't believe micheals hires such rude people.

Corporate office, I have been a customer in Oregon since Michaels came here. I have a request for the store at Keizer Station. I've endured the long lines without enough checkers, but it's the paper towel dispenser in the women's restroom that is an utmost aggravation for all who use it. It has a plastic lever on the front you push down which dispenses an inch or so at a time, so you have to push it 10 or more times to get enough to dry your hands. The problem lies in the horrendously loud noise it makes to accomplish this. I suggest selling it at a garage sale and getting something up-to-date. I was in there yesterday when another lady was using it and verbally frustrated.

I am a part time art teacher and was in the Clifton NJ store asking about work opportunities and felt It would be nice to work part time their and teach some of their art classes but when i met one of the managers, her name is Rea I was completely turned off. She was very rude and short with her replies and when i got a call back from her for an interview she again was short with me and accused me of rescheduling my appoint twice! Which never happened. She obviously is over worked and confused about her job or what she does for a living but I will NEVER work there or refer people to shop in THAT store again.

Good evening, This is a complaint towards a manager at a Las Vegas store, I was shopping yesterday and witnessed the store manager Justin degrading and nearly cursing at a customer, I have never witnessed this in my life and I will never return to that store again and risk being that customer, the store is on Decatur and Charlston.

When making purchases in the Fresh Meadows store they make it difficult to apply your advertised coupons!
This does not happen in your other stores and if this continues I will shop elsewhere!!!
