Don't use Orbit either, as it is same company as Cheaptickets! We had such disatisfaction with CheapTickets cust service in Phillipines, we asked for U.S. number, and they gave us an 888 number that was Orbit cust serv. The Orbit rep was in Guatamala! he couldn't resolve problem, so he transferred us to Supervisor Center..............in the Phillipines!! Orbit had access to our CheapTickts confirmation number, and they tried to help solve our hotel reservation problems. But still on hold waiting for them............we wont use these two 'companies'ever again.

absolutely horrible is cheaptickets. am now in abu dhabi. Presented airline with "confirmation number" from cheaptickets but Itihad said absolutely NOT in the system as Cheaptickets NOT provide correct info and also I now have to buy completely NEW ticket directly from airline at innflated price. and doubt will get refund of $940 ticket. Six times called customer service today and disaster - On hold contanstly and made like 6 calls and finally gave up-

This company should be removed for fruad and cruelty to travelers

THEY ARE ONLY GOOD FOR FLIGHT RESERVATIONS
I wish I had seen these reviews before I booked with CheapTickets. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING but my flight reservation was verified. Everything else was wrong. The hotel only had me booked for 1 night instead of 2. I was charged $350 for my car rental. I had to drive 70 miles round trip to fix the situation which took two hits out of MY vacation. Will not book with them again

We tried to get a flight via Cheap tickets to Tuscon AZ..The lowest fare for the dates requested was $732 each...To make a long story short...the fight we booked the same day was via priceline..Our flights were $276 each..and with one stop only, not two as the Cheap Tickets price dictated. Cheap tickets did offer the same itenerary that we got for $276 but the price was $889 each...I could not recommend this service to anyone..BTW, I am on hold with customer service and have been for over 10 minutes to proclaim my displeasure...The recording told me only 4 minutes to wait...what a joke. Also, was damn near impossible to even find a phone number that Cheap Tickets will not answer, or a way to publish my unhappiness with their service...Hal Hallman

I booked a hotel room a week in advance and had a confirmation email. Got to the hotel and they had no information on my reservation. I got a room still because I had just gotten off a long flight and paid the hotel directly. I contacted CheapTickets to inform them that they did not, in fact, get me a reservation and that I am owed a refund as they did not provide me the service they said they would.

We have been emailing for a day now, and first they told me that my reservation was now there and waiting for me. I had to explain to them AGAIN that I had already booked a room through the hotel because THEIR reservation was not there. Also I have no need for two rooms (or I would have reserved two rooms) and them responding in that way just shows that they were not paying attention. Finally they are looking to get a refund from the hotel to give to me, which is okay and all, but not entirely fair. I am owed a refund whether or not they get one from the hotel.

Also they did not have the correct phone number for this hotel, and actually had a phone number for a different hotel in this area. They had to ask me what the phone number of the hotel was. Ugh.

I booked travel through Cheap Tickets including ground transportation from airport to hotel (and return) in Costa Rica. The ground transportation company, Gray Line, did not pick us up. When we called them, they offered to get us for $450. I took a cab instead....for $280. Gray Line also did not pick us up at the hotel: another $275 for the hotel to take us to the airport. Neither Gray Line nor Cheap Tickets will cover the $555. Travel insurance ALSO will not cover this. My suggestion is NOT to use Cheap Tickets.

I have often traveled with Cheap Tickets, but after this last experience I just can't do it anymore!

I bought a one way ticket. I was charged for the ticket but never got the confirmation e-mail. I called them and they told me I had a "failed booking" and that my money would be refunded to me in 3-5 days. Thats dandy and all...but now when I book again I will have to pay more because the prices will go up. The lady from customer service was silent. Didn't say a word. So i asked to speak to someone else, and she said "they will tell you the same thing" So I said, "look, its not fair that I did everything I was supposed to do, but because you guys messed up I have to pay more for my flight." She then told me that the next time I booked the service fee would be waived. I said thank you, and asked for a confirmation e-mail. I stressed how important it was for me to have documentation because that is what messed me up in the first place. She said " we can send you something in 24 hours" SINCE WHEN DID IT TAKE 24 HOURS TO SEND AN E-MAIL? Customer service was horrible. inexperienced, silent, and refused to let me speak to another person when I asked. I'm still waiting on that e-mail. you best believe I will be calling back EXACTLY in 24 hours if I don't receive something from them.

Booked on one carrier, but the flight is actually operated by a partner carrier (far inferior). Was informed "all this information was provided at time of booking", and it is- just in tiny print at bottom of page well away from really obvious information. Spent 45 minutes telling them I was Bait-and-Switched just to be told I can rebook a new flight with all additional associated fees if I want. Never again with these jerks.

BE CAREFUL when renting a rental car through cheaptickets. I rented a rental car for the wife to pick up from AVIS in europe at a fixed price. When she went to pick it up AVIS informed her she would have to pay an additional 289 euro's for insurance. There was no mention of this on the rental agreement. My credit card company had informed me that VISA would cover the insurance, bur AVIS said they don't recognize the insurance provided by VISA. I have found it impossible to find anyone at cheaptickets or AVIS to discuss this with. When I do get hold of someone their response is 'you don't have the right number, I'll transfer you'. I hold for an extended period of time and eventually the connection breaks. This is a scam in my opinion. I will not be doing any additional business with this company. I will take future business to Orbitz, Travelocity, or Expedia and a rental car from some business other than AVIS.

I HAVE A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM, wasted additional $300+ to get my desired tickets and hours on the phone with the horrible and terrible customer service in India!
I seriously doubt all the good feedbacks here are real customers!

I am so sick of cheapticket purchased a ticket on line and wanted to change the ticket stated it would cost 200 dollars to change which is charged by airline and then charged 50 by them which all in all left mie with no money to change flight and they are not helpfuon solving this bad bad customer service!

Ps don't use Cheap ticket. I booked my deal on 31 may and they only revert on 6 jun at 7.50am! They also used pressure tactics to get my hubby to
Commit to higher price. When I called to complain, agent said will call back and never do. Though i asked thrm to call me, they call my hubby. When he tried to complain, they cut his line and never callagain, I need to explain to different agents who kept putting me on hold. The agents also raised their voice at me and kept cutting me off when I speak. Then, tell me to email another department. Also, they kept telling me the line is bad and seems like my line is going to be cut off. But when I insisted that they call back if line is cut off, suddenly their line is back to normal. Horrible right?

I lost $610.45 from booking a flight through Cheap Tickets. I have tried for 6 months to get my money back (money for a flight was withdrawn twice, on 2 consecutive days, for the same flight), spent so much time and energy, and no one will take responsibility. I will never buy from Cheaptickets again.

Service from Cheap Tickets has been unsatisfactory. I have been unable to reach them by phone to discuss a poor night's stay at a Fairview Inn in Canton, Ohio. Our room was not cleaned from the night before, so we were given an alternate room (not what we reserved) and the bathroom ceiling leaked shower water from the room above us. Cheap tickets asked us about our stay after our trip and we answered them, but they have done nothing to contact us. We will not use them again.

I am glad that customers are giving their reviews with the service this co. offers. Of course, after reading all the reviews with all the hassle and poor communication with customer service and lack of proper phone support on the part of cheap tickets, I will not be using them, even though I might be able to save a few bucks. I have found that often, with overseas operators, who don't understand the dynamics of our language, it is extremely difficult to get good service. If it is anything out of the usual written script that the operators follow, they can't help you. Thanks for the reviews.

Excellent telephone customer service. Needed to change dates of a reservation made online. Made two calls. On both I received prompt and efficient assistance in changing my reservations made online.

this is my first and last time booking with cheap ticket. I tried purchasing package deal to recieve error screen right when I selected booking. Then I check my account and two days later partial funds came out. I called to talk to a person who told me my funds with be refunded in 7-10 days however it should not have came out at all. Now I have been waiting on hold to be transferred from person to person to tell me they cant help me and they need to route me to correct department. So i have no confirmed flight but they have my money.

I want everyone to know what a terrific!!!! job Deb did for me today. I was cancelled out of my flight I'd made a month ago , by Frontier Airlines. She spent almost 2 and a half hours with me trying different easy to get through to them until she got me a new flight, no extra cost. I would have been going around in circles if I had had to do it myself. She remained cheerful, professional, understanding , and checked back with me every 4 minutes or so, whenever I was on hold and she was also. Then she waited until I could download the final reservation. More businesses need employees like her.

Absolutely terrible! Spent $13,000 with them on tickets and it was the biggest mistake ever. Awful customer service. Not helpful. Can't understand them. Spent 3 hours total on phone and got NOWHERE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Sorry to hear that everyone is having issues with them, I buy tickets through Cheap Tickets all the time with zero errors. Called the customer services number to change some information on my itinerary and was helped right away!

What a bunch of idiots. They must hire idiots with no attension to detail. We bought tickets for four people and they issued tickets for three people. Forget contacting them, thee computer told me a 30 min waith and I am still waiting 90 mins later.

deff do not use, just like the others they come back with errors saying the bank denied transaction yet the charge still went through to the bank. im trying to get the transactions canelled while they are pending. Cheap tickets is seeming shady, The NAVY surprised me with the ability to take leave and see my family for christmas and it might not happen in cheap tickets takes all my money here.

Guys, just wanna share my frustration to everyone. Beware if you intend to buy airfare tickets at cheaptickets.sg (Singapore). I am going through a very frustrating experience with them since I first tried booking 2 tickets on their website on 6 Dec. Their website slashed twice an amount of SG$137.07 on my acct after 2 consecutive, unsuccessful transactions though the website keep prompting me that it cannot confirm the flight till on the 3rd time I tried booking, I was prompted that my bank cannot proceed with the payment as there is no enough balance left in my account. I checked with my bank & so true that they deducted the amount from the unsuccessful transactions. Till now, they haven't given back my money. Cust Service hotline is routed to India who cannot help with complaints but just to assist you with manual booking; nothing else helpful aside fr that. They can't even provide you any contact nbr to contact the respective dept in expediting such refund issuesl they will just keep telling you to send an email. No live person support for complaints. I bet they are just too afraid to listen up to their angry custs. Now the airfare ticket increased. I don't think they will ever compensate me for all these trouble & inconveniences. I should have stayed booking on normal airlines' main websites and trusted ones. So regretful. WTF!

Like a few other folks I have given up CheapTickets and will never use them again. I actually have given them the benefit of doubt and used them about three times in the past but always a hassle.

Yesterday I tried to book a flight for my wife and I and kept getting errors "please try again later" after pushing the agreement button in the last step.

What really happened is they were unsuccessful in completing my booking but they sure enough charged my credit card as if it went through. I ended up booking with Expedia and when I checked our account a saw the CheapTicket charges.

Now the extra headache of trying to talk to a live person begins and they admit the error but my money is being used by them for 3 to 5 days and I was told to call back if it was not in my account after that!

Beware is all I can say I don't know how they can still be in business after all these years.
