Trying to get through to the Boston Globe customer service . it worse than having all your teeth puled with NO novocaine ,,, It's a total disgrace. John Henry should stick to baseball . He and the customer service is a disaster when it comes to dealing with the Globe customers . WE all know he bought the Globe for the Dorchester property , At 75 million he got a good deal . we all got F==ked . . I called 4 times yesterday never got through , today I got through after 10 min wait then the phone went dead when the lady said she was going to put me on hold and check on my problem ..... I then called 2 times and was on Q # 23 , later I was Q# 50 , Again the service is a word I will not use ,,,,, U know what I am saying ,,,,,, I bet the Globe won't print this ...

What is wrong with the "app" today 8/13/16? Opens up to section B , no A, C section. Press menu options and no change.

I am a longtime subscriber to the Globe and in retirement I enjoy it over my morning cup of coffee.(especially during the summer months on my porch) For the past week I have had not had the opportunity because 1/3 of the combination was missing (THE BOSTON GLOBE) After daily calls and promises to the distributer and The Globe call line, all I received was "I will have it delivered right away" or "I will give you credit for the mixed days". I got the credit, but not the paper. Very poor for a major paper.

John Henry owner of the Boston Red Sox owns the Boston Globe. Your reliability is questionable. the globe is a failing newspaper with weak reporting. It's sad.

I'm Harry, daily plus Sunday subscriber, Account No. 230955. Been a subscriber for many years, and I am NOT a chronic complainer, usually, but ... I have complained several times within the last few months. Last Saturday I found my Globe down in back of the shrubbery in front of the front porch, and THIS morning, Tuesday, May 24, the paper was down on the walkway from the sidewalk, half way out of the single plastic sheath, and the exposed part was soaking wet right through the exposed part of the whole paper. Our letter carrier picked it up and placed it on the porch when he delivered my mail at around 10:00 AM. It had been left on the short walkway off the sidewalk into the stairs. All I ever requested was that the Globe be put on the front porch, and I can't believe anything is simpler. It may require a few extra seconds to get close enough to the front stairs to toss the paper with certainty that it will land on and stay on the porch. I have been tipping the courier, whoever it has been, $8.00 per billing period, and $50 at Christmas time for a number of years. In return for the tipping, I expect those few extra seconds to be spent to insure that the paper is on the porch. Wife and I are 83 years old this year, and it seems like little enough to ask so that we don't have to venture off the porch to retrieve the papers. If the problem continues, I will resort to picking up the papers at a local store, in spite of the inconvenience. Please lean on the courier to deliver the Globe as, I'm sure, you have directed him/her to do, anyway. Thank you! Harry

I guess I am one of few; but, when you switched delivery services, for the first time in 17 years I had my paper at my door every day. They were great! I have complained numerous times, numerous, about the delivery person I've had for 17 years, and nothing gets much better, maybe for a few days, but that's it. My paper is never at my door. Maybe it's not on the sidewalk, in the snow, in the bushes, or do I have to send out a search party, but it is never at my door like it was when we changed delivery services. We nearly died when we got our old delivery person back. We are considering cancelling the paper delivery because it is just a daily frustration, as it is today. The paper should be something to enjoy getting and reading. What a shame! I love the Globe!

Most times I enjoy the crossword, but on 4~18 I had a very hard time. 24 down "Queen of Folk Music" Well at least the first three letters of his name were spelled right.

While in Florida purchased the Globe everyday. Saw what you did today. How can I believe anything you write/report ever again. I will never buy a Boston Globe again.

The first time I called with an issue, Walter hung up on me.

The second time I called back I got Geo, very nice.

Your delivery service leaves much to be desired!

Worst delivery service of any company. I may get my sunday paper once a month. Phone calls go to the Phillipines and the problem is never resolved. I will be cancelling my subscription.

OK, no Sunday paper yet again........2 weeks in a row and no way to resolve the issue unless of course you ask for a re-delivery and get the paper after lunch and on top of that the wrong newspaper. Hey John Henry is this anyway to run an airline?

I am very happy with the delivery service of the Boston Globe. With the new service, the paper is double bagged in plastic when the weather requires it. Although the paper is occasionally thrown on the lawn and not at my front door, I still receive it regularly. Today I found it near my back door which was just fine!

I live at 28 George Road, Maynard, Massachusetts. Today, My Sunday paper did not arrive until 11:20, this is not unusual. Delivery issues have been ongoing since September. My daily paper never arrives before 6:50 am, quite frankly, the average time is between 8 and 9 am. Saturdays are usually after nine, and Sunday averages around noon.
This is not the deliver service I signed up for. I have waited out all the explanations from the fall, hoping that my delivery would improve. It has not. It is impossible to get a real live person from the Globe to talk to let alone call me back. I'm seriously considering after 20 plus years of just stopping my paper delivery all together. HELP

I realize you guys had some problems with delivery a while back. Fortunately, I never had them. But I've noticed lately that my Globe sports page seems to lack for information, especially when the local team is playing out of town in another time zone. Friday morning, I awoke to find Amalie Benjamin had written a full THREE paragraphs about the Bruins-Predators and then a whole bunch of dribble that was clearly prepared before the game started. I went online and checked to make sure she had the final score correct. It was reassuring to know that she and the Globe waited for the game to end before printing. Then, this morning I open my Globe to see NOTHING about the Celtics game last night. Not One Word. Can you tell me who won or should I go online to find out?! For the record, I live in SOMERVILLE, not central or western Massachusetts, so it's absurd that I would get partial or no coverage of the previous night's game. Don't bother having Mr. Henry or anyone else reach out. I have already cancelled my subscription.

One month after the current pathetic excuse for a Distribution Company took over the Boston Globe home delivery, we were still either not getting our paper, or it was thrown at the end of our long driveway/ half in the street, not our requested side porch where it had arrived faithfully for the past 35 years. So with sadness in our hearts we cut down to Sunday paper only, and lo& behold they still can't get it right! No paper today...
Spent over an Hour on hold for Customer Service, finally hung up, guess there were too many disgruntled customers ahead of me.
John Henry must be chuckling up in his Ivory Tower. He ruins everything he touches in this Town...

My paper was not delivered. I know it is snowing, but I am sure it could have gotten here before that started.

good morning but it is not a good morning, I did not receive my paper again today. 4 days in a row. No paper the day of the storm which is uncalled for because that is a day when no one can get out and it is necessary to get a paper. It can be done because my old delivery person had my paper here every morning before 5 last year during every storm. So now with me it is a guessing game will the paper be here or not. Very close to cancelling the whole thing but I hate reading it on line. you have totally failed every one and I can not believe it has been almost 2 months and no one can fix the mess you made. eleanor

Please ask our driver to deliver the paper to the side steps if possible and if not to throw the paper to the left (his left) side of the driveway, halfway down.
Our driveway is on an incline and slippery in the winter so the closer to the house it is the less likely we will fall.
Thank you
