First let me say I am very unhappy with how my globe was never delivered in the last 3 or more weeks.im a senior on a fixed income.i had to go out and buy the weekly and Sunday paper at a higher cost.i had tried to call the globe but had to hang up after waiting half hr.to add insult to injury I just received a bill for 121.60 I will not pay until this is resolved.

I have been waiting on the phone for over 45 minutes to report an issue with my mother's service and no one has answered. My mother is elderly and uses a walker and has asked for the paper to be left at the door so she can get it. The past two days it has been either on the grass or on the side walk. My mother has reported this issue before. Obviously the information is not getting to the delivery people or they choose to ignore it. I get the NH Union Leader and get great service and ALWAYS am able to to to a live person. Please get back to me.

The Globe delivery problem continues.
Can we please receive the circulars with Thursday's paper? Or separately? For 24 years I've received the circulars on Thursdays-haven't received them all month of January.Please send circulars again with Thursday's paper.

No paper this Sunday, same as last Sunday.. Why is this still a problem.. During the week it is only very late.

three deliveries in 35 days. great service. Town of Milford must not be on the map of Massachusetts. With all the credits I'm getting, maybe I should give you my lot location at the cemetery and you'll be able to deliver it there.

I have either NOT received my papers since the delivery SNAFU began, or it has been dropped a TENTH OF A MILE AWAY from my front door at the foot of my driveway. It has also been soaking wet in wet weather, and unreadable since it is not double wrapped.



--I have not been able to reach a LIVE PERSON to even report this.

--The number to reach a LIVE PERSON doesn't connect.

--The pre-recorded message only allows us to report one missed delivery at a time, which means I have to call EVERY DAY.



BUT you already KNOW ALL THIS, and still allow your customers to dangle in the wind.

You are holding my paper hostage though I have already PAID UP FRONT. Playing CHOPIN piano music while I am on interminable hold -though lovely-isn't cutting it, even for this arts & entertainment critic. In fact, I was just now DISCONNECTED MID CONVERSATION with a live person.



I want a TIMELY response and a remedy.

I want my former delivery person back on the job. He was prompt, organized, delivered my paper to ME every single day without fail for YEARS.

I want John Henry to pull up in a limo and bring me my paper (and a cup of coffee for my trouble) every morning until this is resolved.

This truly is an EPIC FAIL.

Still no paper and no response to my inquiries. There's got to be something illegal about pretending that everything is ok to your advertisers when most of your delivery customers don't want the paper anymore, but aren't allowed to cancel or contact you. At the very least a very strange way to do business.

My mom did not receive her paper Sat. or Sun. I spoke with someone this morning and told her that I wasn't sure about today. She did not in fact receive her paper. She said she would delay the billing and she wouldn't be charged. She also said that it was a new delivery person. I'd like to be reassured that the delivery person will be spoken with and that my mom will receive her newspaper. She's an 85 year old woman who has nothing to look forward to but the paper delivered daily. Please confirm that this will be handled. You can reach me a Her address is 81 Windsor Road, Medford, MA

we have been a subscriber to the boston globe for over 40 years. during that time we have vactioned and taken many trips which had us canceling and then resuming delivery of the globe. there has been so few slip ups that i can't remember a one. our previous delivers were excellent and always came through with the paper no matter the weather.

when the recent problems arrived my husband canceled the paper and asked to resume delivery this sunday, january 24th. we did not receive a paper that day nor today and probably will not receive one tomorrow. your delivery service is awful and we would like you folks to go back to your former delivers and make them part of the globe. this nonsense about independent owners is a buzz word so that you do not have to assume any health or other benefits for the drivers. a spotlight team should work on that.

i digress, at the end of this week we will be away. should we cancel the whole week and only deliver the globe on the 31st? or should we just throw up our hands and cancel the daily/sunday subscription? it is nice to have the paper at the end of the drive but when it is so iffy that perk is removed. then there is little to draw us back to being a subscriber.

would like to know what you folks are suggesting. this morning my husband got this from the distributor, "at present there are many complaints about the delivery of today's paper."

Someone should investigate and report on whatever the heck is going on with The Globe delivery!!! Did not get today's or Sunday's paper. Very dissapointed. My delivery person used to be so reliable!

The globe is pulling a fast one. They're not answering their phone and not letting us cancel so their advertisers think they still have custoimers, because without customers no advertisers. Who can help me cancel this madness I've already tried the email and the phone routes with no response.

I did not receive my Sunday Paper 1/24/16 also my Monday paper 1/25/16. What is happening with the Globes deliver service. If your original distribution company was doing there job why break something that was working.I think Mr. Henry should hire people that understand the distribution business and get rid of the people that have created this mess. I have been a subscriber to the Globe for over 30 years and I have never seen such incompetence in all these years. I also delivered the Globe as a young boy and back then either walked or biked our routes but we always made sure the Globe was delivered on time.

We did not receive the Sunday Globe on 1/24 and have not received the Globe today - 1/25. Whatever it is you're doing to correct the problem SUCKS and the Globe should be embarrassed about the way your loyal customers are being treated. DISGUSTING!!!

l did not get the globe three times this week including sunday. when i do receive it they throw it anywhere where i cannot retrieve it. i have a ramp and asked to put the paper between the doors as i have for years. wheni call i can never get through to a person.

When will I be receiving my next paper. I hope the carrier will place it on my porch, just as the previous driver did and when it snowed ,he left it front o f the first garage door.

Very disappointed with the complete lack of customer service provided by The Boston Globe. IT is impossible to reach someone via phone due to the excessive excessive commercials when calling the paper.

I am writing this comment to let you know that my delivery service has been terrible for the last month. I am not sure what is happening, but if remains terrible, I am going to cancel my subscription. For the past month, the paper is just being thrown in the driveway, on the sidewalk, or wherever it lands. The previous delivery person put the paper in between my door so I could access it easily.

Duplicate sets of papers (Globe and NY Times; evidently same carrier) continue to be delivered. At least one set, on two occasions, hurled at storm door with great force, ignoring standing instructions of 20+ years (and disregarding my phone calls to complain).
