It's still happening. I just got charged $100 for a Playstation Gift card...and I don't own a Playstation. I used my credit card a month ago at the physical store and received the charge today from Gamestop.com. When I called Gamestop the message said it was a 15 minute hold time (unexpected call volume bs), and they finally answered the call after 35 minutes. A lady that barely spoke English finally answered. They said they would file a claim and I should hear back from them in 48 hours. What a waste of time. Their solution: change my email password. Riiiight, like that is the reason someone knew my credit card number, address, and ordered from their store. Silly me. What a terrible corporate company. The local employees are always great, their corporate sucks. Don't bother calling, just call your credit card company and dispute it.
