A package was shipped to me UPS Next Day. It was originally scheduled to be delivered in two days (not Next Day). I called the Shipper who contacted UPS to have it rescheduled to Next Day.
The package was at my local office (Nanuet, NY) this morning at 7:23 AM and was supposed to be delivered before Noon. I called at 1 PM and again at 6:30 and was told by two separate operators that my package would definitely be delivered today. I checked tracking again at 9 PM and see that the package (overnight letter) is now in Texas.
The holiday season is just beginning and UPS can't deliver an Next Day letter. It was sent Next day before noon delivery for a reason which is now moot.
