The company without immediate notice turned off my power on Friday afternoon at 1PM due to a lack of payment on my part. The bill got lost and other life issues created the issue. They were calling my home phone which is only used for the alarm system. I was never notified on my cell. Once we realized what happened be got on the phone and after a 20 minute hold we paid the entire balance of what was due. We have a zero balance now. I then asked when they would restore service and they said in one working day. That means that i am without power for the next three days until Monday sometime. It is going to be another record high temp day today not to mention that we have two refrigerators and one freezer to deal with. I tried to call them back to discuss this issue three times and was on hold for over 45 minutes each time. I never got a chance to speak to a supervisor at all. If you cut someones power off don't do it on a Friday afternoon unless you work on Saturday to restore it. What happens when it rains over the weekend and the sump pumps have no power. I am blessed to have a generator that I am using to last until Monday but not everyone has that ability. Their policy needs to be addressed. I will ask my State Rep. to look into a bill that would address this. Well the bill is payed and here I sit waiting for the "company" to restore my service while I pack up our Daughters off to College. If you cannot help me you need to help others out that face the Friday afternoon cutoff without the ability to restore in 24 hours. Thanks for your support. Dan
