Several phone calls made to my home and cell phone have made be very upset in the future I will never fly on your airline

During the last couple of weeks we have been getting some very annoying phone calls on my wife's cell phone. During the initial "computer talk", the message gives the impression that the call is coming from WestJet. When I press 1 to talk to a real person, some obnoxious guy with extremely poor telephone manners and a heavy heavy French accent comes on and, in a most beligerant manner, asks me all kinds of qualifying questions. Finally, today I got very cross with him and told him where to stick his deals.

Now, if this is indeed coming from WestJet, it is in very poor taste. But, I doubt that you are doing this. I suspect that some lowlife is using your good name to try and scam people.

I just thought you would like to know about this.

I received a cheque for Westjet losing our baggage and when I cashed it I received a letter from my bank that it had a stop payment on it. I now have to pay the bank fee and I am still out the money for what I purchased in New York ( which was much higher than the crappy $100 allocated) I cannot even get through to anyone to find out what unintelligent person put a stop payment on the cheque. I waited over 4 months for the cheque to start with.

I Am Reginald Samson Boarding Flight Ws 669. On 6 August 2014. 6.40 Toronto To Calgary. I Have Had The Most Horrible Experience With One Of Your Flight Attendant Namely Mary. I Asked Her For A Glass Of Water She Refused "saying You Will Get It When Our Regular Service Start" (almost Yelling At Me " Very Rude Attitude. Her Attitude Was So Demeaning And Condescending Absolutely Zero Customer Care Skills. It Took About Another 45 Minutes Before The Regular Serving Started. After This Incident I Was Called By Ms. Dee Who Gave Me The Talk Like I Was Her Subordinate Employee Very Rude Once Again Accusing Me Of Using 'f' Word. Which I Categorically Denied. I Never Use Profane Language. I Am Still Wondering What I Did To Deserve This Kind Of Service. I Have Paid $1140.00 For A Round Trip To Take This Kind Of Customer Service. I Forgot To Mention That I Had To Drink Water From The Toilet Tap. I Would Appreciate It If Somebody Could Contact Me. My Home Phone I Was Also Threaten By Ms. Dee That She Would Put Some Adverse Remarks On My File. (this Issue Has Become Intense And Serious). On Your Airline People Are Treated According To Their Skin Colour And Ethnic Background.

I'm sick if being delayed. Every flight with you guys there's somthing I fly with you guys four times a month on average. All I ever here is where sorry. But when I show up 5 minutes late I have to pay a 50 dollar fee and get switch to a differnt flight but if I say I'm sorry I'm late it's to bad. I know that some times there's unexpected delays but you guys have to relize it happens to passangers to. The the kicker is I end up eating for 40 minutes in the airport then I here my origal flight call for boarding when I easily could have made the flight but no now I sit for ever and get home at 1130 insted of seven. I'm giving serious thought to change to air canada plus at least they have better snacks and tv. Your TVs always have issues to. I think you guys and your service keep getting worse. And after 10 min writing this text there still calling boarding for my origal flight it's frustrating

I would like to bring to your attention.... I have been a regular customer of West Jet since 2005... I have been working in AB since then and my last four trips have been terrible the worst yet... I had to give up my seat to a service dog.... Another time I was asked to give up my seat to a family travelling with younger chrildren that wanted to sit together n. I did... Then my last trip only few days ago I was I had a real bad cold n I usually select a window seat... But when I checked in in AB ....they couldn't' give me a window from Calgary to Halifax but told me when I go to Calgary to check with the... N I didk n upgraded my seat then when I boarded the plane there was another person sitting in the seat I had just bought....so I explained to the stewarst n as it happens she was the same person that advised me to upgrade my seat Ian Calgary... What happened was West Jest had sold that seat n I purchased the same seat....Also to lots of my coworkers have run into the same problem.....West Jet will be loosing a lot of customers like this and I am one... I spent lot of money on flight n after working long hours you expect to get what you pay for.... I would appreciate your immediatek attention regarding this matter... Thank-You

West Jet--I want to thank you for the fabulous job you do! We fly a lot and always appreciate the wonderful service you provide!! This time I want to personally thank your ground staff at Calgary International airport.
Monday, June 2nd at 8 a.m. I was met by the joyful Kerri-Rae. When I asked for a wheelchair for my aged mother she literally ran to get it. Her compassion, sensitivity and sincere kindness made good-byes with my mom sweet, knowing that such a loving person was assisting her through security and on the plane for her trip home.
Kerri-Rae you are a breath of fresh air! Thank you for touching our hearts. You are deeply appreciated. May you be blessed abundantly for your great kindness to us.

Hi, I hope you can help me. What I need from the accounting department is a receipt for last year flight to Las Vegas May 17, 2013 flew back May 20, 2013 I think those are the dates. I know Wes said it was May long weekend of last year. I need the receipt for income tax purposes.

I am not alone when I say that tis mornings flight to Toronto from Vancouver at 8AM was MODT UNCOMFORTABLE ! There was cold air blowing all the way.
It was thoughtful of your staff to offer me a blanket free of charge ..but it wasn't enough.. I am sick with a cold for my holiday.i trust you will compensate my discomfort. Thanks, cheryl lewis

I moved from Toronto to Calgary today.
I have a pet ferret, Bella, and I have had her since she was two months old, and she is now almost eight.
I flew with WestJet, which does not allow ferrets on board at all; the only option is to use Westjet Cargo.

First, I was told I can only book a cargo shipment a maximum of five days in advance. Needless to say, my flight price doubled having to wait last minute to book it, but I was fine with waiting and paying more, as I wanted to ensure my pet and I were traveling on the same flight. Westjet Cargo also has a minimum fee of $100, and requires you to check your pet in a minimum of two hours prior to departure.

I waited and booked it. I was happy, and figured everything would go smoothly...but oh was I ever wrong.

I took Westjet flight 663, which is the flight I also booked for my ferret. I dropped her off at the cargo facility in Toronto two and a half hours prior to our departure time. I then proceeded to check myself in at the airport.

I am currently sitting at the Calgary airport, and have been since my flight landed. Why? Because they didn't put my ferret on the flight I had booked for her.
Now, here I sit, waiting for my pet that by the time she gets here will have been alone for 12 hours, without proper care.

Westjet customer service, along with Westjet Cargo customer service, proved to be absolutely useless, not to mention rude. One of the customer service agents, Emily, had the nerve to ask me with a sarcastic tone "well what would you like us to do, leave her in Toronto?" She then also proceeded to hang up on me when I asked her if she was stupid, for asking me that, because I guess to her, her question made sense. Yes, it makes sense to just leave your pet somewhere you're not, when you purposely arranged for them to be where you are, at the same time you're there. It makes lots of sense. Maybe she can read my sarcasm?

So, hopefully Westjet sees this, and realizes how much they messed up. Hopefully they realize that pets are just as important as any of their other passengers. Hopefully they take measures for this not to happen to anyone else's pets.

My phone calls and trying to speak to a manager at the airport got me nowhere, I hope this will.

New update just found out that they lied and told they put her on the next flight they didnt it was the 6th flight the flight that was avaible after i called!!!!

On April 25 I was on WestJet flight 1723 from Palm Springs to Vancouver. We arrived at the gate at 2:45 but did not get off the plane till 3:10. Apparently there was no ground crew available. Our luggage did not arrive until 4:35. No that is not a typo.....4:35, one hour and 50 minutes after we arrived. As bad as air travel has become I can honestly say this is the worst experience I have ever had. Your staff did nothing to make the situation easier to endure other than thanking us for our patience. Had this not been an international flight I would have gone home and let you deliver my luggage but since this was not an option we all remained captive at the luggage carrosel. Other airlines offer credits if luggage does not arrive with 20 minutes of arriving at the gate. We weren't even offered a bottle of water.

I lost my bag which was tagged from Winnipeg Manitoba in Canada coming to Mumbai India. I departed from Winnipeg on 13th Feb and my bag arrived in Mumbai the next day. My name is Anjelina Robert Dsilva. My bag has a tag that says WS 278952. The bag is lost at toronto airport. I landed at toronto airport, I recieved only one checked in bag. I missed the wedding for which I was going to India. They said they booked me on British Airways. Then British airways sent me back to West jet. They sent me back and forth with my luggage 4 times. Then they said West jet will send me by Air canada. They did this for 3 hours and finally booked me for KLM flight next day. I am still missing my checked in bag and west jet is not even accepting my claim. My telephone number .. this bag is lost. Thats why no airlines or anyone has any information on it. West jet asked me to check mumbai airport. Its 2 weeks now. I go to mumbai airport everyday to check for my bag. Its two weeks i still dont have my bag. My vacation is ruined. I cry every single day.

My husband and I spent alot of money on a westjet vaacation for our 25th anniversary in October. They lost my bag on a direct flight to Anigua and I didn't recieve it until more than half way through my trip. They ruined my anniversary and they did nothing tto make things better. They will only reemburse me for the receipts that I was able to obtain, unfortunately the guy on the beach that I had to buy clothes off of does'nt offer receipts or the cab drivers so I could go into town to shop.It is now Jan 22nd and I still haven't recieved a cent from West Jet. Customer service I don't think so.

West jet claims to care about its passengers but what about when they are disabled. My husband is a quadriplegic. West jet procedures and inept staff put his life at risk. Even the captain agreed,
West jet hasn't bothered to contact us since our return

I don't know who was behind the "Christmas Miracles" video, but it was by far the most heartening piece I have watched in years. Kudos to all.

It is with pleasure that I forward a letter of commendation for one of your valuable employee's personal employee file. Ironically, I have had Ms Lana (Employee number 19289) telephone serving me on two different occasions with her remembering me from the previous conversation whereby she was booking several of my employees travel tickets back to Abbotsford when your online service was not responding. On both occasions, not only did she handle my requests with the utmost of efficiency and professionalism but her friendly and bubbly personality came through as considerably above average. As a global frequent flyer as both a businessman and a lecturer - years of elite membership with Air Canada, etc. - I am very cognoscenti of not only a job well done but when I am left with a smile on my face after interacting with a service employee, I am dealt with only one thing to do and that is to inform her employer that they have an exceptional employee in their employ.
It is people like Ms Lana who do more towards brand-marketing for a company such as yours than any kind of conventional advertising and as such, and although I do not know her personally, I am recommending her as a candidate for advancement based on the fact that she has represented your company in an incredibly positive light and I can only speculate that she will continue to exhibit such excellency.

We just came back from Jamaica after booking a supposedly 5 star hotel with westjet vacations. The hotel was dirty, poorly kept and had the worst service I have yet to come across in the Caribbean. The staff were indifferent. There were slushy machines (like the 7/11) which the bartenders just added booze to...no blenders!!! It was so disappointing. We won't be booking with them again.

Recently flew westjet for the last time. Flew from Toronto to Montego Bay. They ran out of $6 cardboard sandwiches, but we got pretzels. Yahoo. $10 for headphones, r u kidding!!! Way home was worse. As we boarded their "new" plane we were told it has no tvs but could rent a tablet for $5. O how generous of you. Even the staff told us to write and complain. Was. Joke and would definitely not recommend westjet

Recently my wife and myself flew Westjet to Las Vegas, the man next to me was a little over weight and the 2 1/2 hr flight was just about all I could take as he was partially in my seat. The man repeatedly apologized for taking so much space but i told him it is what it is.
On our return trip upon landing in Vancouver we found BOTH of our bags completely soaked through and through.My contents were ruined from dye coming from my bag.
I have yet to hear from the company!! WTF
