TRAVELOCITY's PARTNER HOTEL PAYS For FAMILY's VACATION. We are planning a family vacation to Italy in a couple of weeks. Due to an agent mistake my cousins name is misspelled on her travel documents. In the past 3 weeks we have called over 6 times. After 5 phone calls each lasting an average of 80-95 minutes we have yet to speak to a technician nor supervisor to make the name correction. We've also contacted the airline which insists that Travelocity must make the change since they sold the ticket. Three of the 5 times the call has mysteriously dropped into dead silence just as we're waiting for the 3rd/4th transfer to "the technician that will make the changes for you." I requested an allowable hotel change last night, Travelocity agreed and supposedly cancelled the hotel reservation. Today, I received an email indicating that the hotel won't allow the change. Seeing as how Travelocity is working on behalf of the hotel, perhaps the hotel can pay for our family's vacation stay. What a waste of our time, money and energy. We haven't even left for vacation yet. I fear what would happen if I needed their support while abroad. YIKES!!! One quick question.... To whom should we send the bill?

On July 24th I made reservations for a vacation package but the date was wrong the trip was supposed to start on the August 1st instead of the 3rd I had a hard time understanding your sales person. Since all conversations are recorded I want you to listen to the conversation to confirm what she was told because I would like to be compensated for those 2 days I missed from my vacation. Even if I called back right after I received confirmation email nothing was accomplished I wasn't able to change the reservation without paying extra money. I spent hours with a couplr of your suprlervisors trying to fix the problem. Your prompt attention to this matter wold be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

YOUR policy regarding reservations IS INSANE. My husband booked a plane reservations to Las Vegas - round trip. He paid for them with a credit card and received a CONFIRMATION NUMBER. Hours later - Travelocity sends an email stating that Frontier Airlines did NOT send THEM a confirmation and that this reservation was NOT VALID! My husband was forced to make a NEW reservation as soon as he could -- and SURPRISE.. The airfare had GONE UP. What good is a confirmation number???????? How do you have the right to hold your customer accountable for YOUR mistake?? If Frontier didn't accept it -- YOU should have not sent us a confirmation number stating THEY DID.

I will never book again with this company - The wait time is over an hour and customer service does not resolve the issue - I will stick to EXPEDIA & ORBITZ - they actually help

This SUCKS!!!!!!! TOTALLY!!! Told me my card was invalid so i reentered and again they said it was not valid. I went to my bank and Travelocity charged me $7.99 3x!!!! If the card is not valid, how did they charge it???????? Never again!!!!!!!!!!!

This carrier is the worst !! They over charge then tell you to fill out an application to have this corrected. Only to never respond. Forget getting through to customer service. You can have your call answered in 2 minutes if your booking, but try to speak with someone when they mess up your money! Ridiculous!! I suggest ( If time allows) dispute the charges and go with another provider.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE customer service. They make their computer problems become their customers problems. But then they compensate for it by being arrogant and punitive to their customers who have lost money and time.

I spoke to Meg today 3/16/2015 regarding Customer to confirm trip in Myrtle Beach, SC @ Ocean Reef. I have still not received an email for confirmation of Itinerary for our charge on AMEX for our reservation for April 26th check in and April 27th check out. Can you please send

Travelocity stole my money after I cancelled my reservation the same day I booked it I still have yet to see the money appear back on my account im by far upset with this company is there a way I can get my money back

Posted by Anonymous

After checking in at our hotel we realized they was a $100 discrepancy between the Travelocity rate and the rate Marriott had with our AAA discount. Travelocity would not refund the difference or do anything about it and they are also hard to reach you have to Google the customer care number in order to even find the number because it's not on their website.

I'm another one. DON'T USE this provider! They mess everything up and forget trying to fix anything--it's just more time and money wasted.

DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER!!!!
I tried to book a flight online, the final prompt stated that my transaction did not go through.
I then checked my bank transactions and Travelocity had deducted $202.60 dollars 4 TIMES putting my balance in the negative.
I called after navigating through various prompts, was transferred, then hung up on. I called back with my bank representative and Travelocity's rep refused to talk with me as long as my bank representative was on the line.
All Travelocity needed to do was fax a statement on letterhead to my bank agreeing to release my "pending" charges. THEY STILL HAVE NOT DONE THIS, stating to me that their records do not indicated any such transaction. I have over $800 of my dollars tied up because of their inaction.
Please stay away from this travel provider!!!

Travelocity travel confirmation - Feb 6 -
Nicole M. Hovorka

I booked the above trip and upon arrival was refused at the hotel and sent to another one in the complex. It was below standard of what I paid for through Travelocity. I attempted to make contact yesterday and was told that my Itin # was not found. I travel a lot and wanted you to know that I did NOT get what I paid for through Travelocity.

Trying to book flight for five from MCI to YHZ July 17-25, 2015 on my iPad. I get all the way through and than it says "thank you! While we process your request, please avoid using the back button." It just spins. It then kicked me out, I started over and it is doing the same thing.

Please help resolve as this is a good price $521.06/ticket, and I would love to not lose it.

Because Travelocity advetises travel services at discounted rates I went to your web site to look for a hotel for four nights. I found the Baymont Inn, Hudson, Ohio would meet our needs. I was quite happy when I saw the price of $55.99 per night. Travelocity also advertised a 20% discount for a four night stay. Since we plan to arrive Friday, November 14, 2014 and check out Tuesday November 18, 2014 we would be staying he required nights to receive the 20% discount.

When the final total came up with a much higher dollar amount I had figured out, I phoned Travelocity I spoke with several representatives. They told me that the price of $55.99 is the discounted price. That price is NOT what was ADVERTISED. On the web page a price per night was listed as $69.99 and there was a line through that price. The price of $55.99 was listed in BOLD print. Underneath was a sentence that said "SALE" Stay four nights and receive a 20% discount. My interpretation is that because Travelocity advertises itself as a portrayer of DISCOUNT travel services I should receive the four night discount. These advertisements are out for all to see and read on television, social media, and magazines to name just a few. Travelocity representatives insisted I was wrong. However, I am NOT wrong. Your sentence of "stay four nights and receive a 20% discount is grammatically incorrect. Travelocity is also definitely guilty of .DECEPTION, MISREPRESENTATION, "BAIT AND SWITCH" and possibly FRAUD.. IF the room cost including the DISCOUNT actually is $55.99 (plus tax) correct, then to be grammatically correct your sentence(s) should read ....The per night cost of a room (fill in the hotel name)....is (fill in the cost). If one to plans to stay four nights (or longer) a 20% discount will be applied and the cost per night is...(fill in the blank..)

Some of this deception, misrepresentation, dishonesty, and fraud borders on the ILLEGAL. If not it is decidedly IMMORAL It's just plain WRONG to advertise one price only to have a customer discover that the whole advertisement a big LIE..

People turn to third party businesses for HELP with travel services, NOT to be DECEIVED. I feel that at the very least, and as a gesture of good faith that Travelocity should REFUND me the 20% over payment. For convenience sake, I rounded off the figures and should have paid $192.00 (plus appicaple taxes) for our four night stay at The Baymont Inn in Hudson, Ohio.

I look forward to hearing from a Travelocity representative concerning this crucial miscarriage of justice.

Most Sincerely,

Mrs. Jane Johnson

I too have encounter a problem with Travelocity! We were going to just do a small family vacation with my girlfriend, her son, and myself. I went to go book a room on the Top secret rooms, got the information in and then no room, but Travelocity was quick to take the money out for the room. So she called Travelocity after 2 hours she finally got to a supervisor. So the supervisor called the accounting department, she got a refund. Today we looked at the account and Travelocity took the money out again, this time without us going onto the site or even looking at the rooms. She called again, this time she told them that she was heading to the bank and telling the bank that they stole the money out of her account. Travelocity is a joke and we will never, ever, ever, go back to this site again!

Called the CEO, Steve Kaufer, ten days ago with a great idea for the company. Haven't heard from him yet. What a disappointment.

I have been trying to contact someone at Travelocity for over two hours and was placed on hold twice for more than 45 minutes and disconnected twice! Yours is the most poorly run business I've ever encountered. All others: Use Orbitz, use Orbitz, Travelocity is a joke!!! See my Twitter account: BOYCOTT TRAVELCOTY!!!!!

I made a reservation on 11 Apr 14 and was told that I was speaking directly with Embassy Suites hotel which was not true. Due to me being mislead, Travelocity has agreed to give me a refund. The cost of the room through Travelocity was $40.00 more than Embassy Suites rate. I am requesting a full refund from Travelocity in the amount of $282.55.The following reservation numbers are provided:
Travelocity - 80763686 or WCT757774510
Embassy Suites - 82869382

For questions regarding this reservation please call Jose Lozano, Embassy Suite (San Antonio Riverwalk) billing office at 210-424-6214

Greetings,
I called the number and still waiting to talk to someone as I AM typing.
It has been more than 15 minutes.
I have spent several Thousand dollars on a vacation package. I called travelocity 5 times to correct a double booking, on my ground transportation. It's a simple error to correct and yet they messed it up.
These customer representatives are outsourced from Asia. I think India. They are very polite but Inefficient, in that the are incompetent and Unable to solve problems.
I have place my booking yesterday, and still have not been able to speak with a manager or someone who has authority to clean up their own mess.
A customer who spends thousands of dollars on a product ought to be treated with value, regard and respect.
Travelocity as company is a failure. Unqualified, unfit, Incapable.

Like everyone else on this site, I too had a terrible experience with Travelocity. One phone call , I was on hold for 1 1/2 hr. This is the worst time on a discount travel service, I have encountered. How can they continue to be in business?? They already have my money and I'm going thru all this to retrieve it!

I try to contact Travelocity for some time. First it takes a lot of time and effort to find a contact information. To send and email inquiry is hopeless bnecause nobody is answering. To call them is frustrating because it is hard to understand this support people.
Sorry Travelocity this is not good enough! Many people are frustrated and won't come back to do business with Travelocity.

To Whom Can Help Sort This Mess Out:

1. 1/7/14 I cancelled a flight booked through Travelocity on Air Tran. Details are below:

Cancelled AIRLINE RESERVATION

************************************************************************

Trip ID: 532695084718

2. Last night (4/29/14) I called Travelocity and was told I could use the credit on AirTran either through Travelocity or through AirTran.

3. This morning I booked my flight through an Airtran e-mail I had received yesterday, although the actual flight is on Southwest. Confirmation number
4. This afternoon I called Airtran who told me that they would not accept the credit as I had to use the credit with the 3rd party I booked the original flight. (Please refer what I was told in step 2).

5. I then called Travelocity 3 times this afternoon/evening. The first individual I spoke to could not help me and forwarded me onto a second person. The second person was also unhelpful and his superior/supervisor was informed. The supervisor then called me back (2 hours later) and his name was ââ?¬Å?Peter.ââ?¬Â? Peter informed me that my record with Travelocity indicates that when I called last night I was informed that I could book through AirTran. Peter then informed me that AirTran actually holds the $600 credit so I needed re-contact them to work this out.

6. I then called AirTran who informed me that they receive no money from the 3rd party only after travel is completed.

As you can see I have gotten the run around from both Travelocity and AirTran. I am hoping that you are able to credit me my money for this upcoming trip to Colorado.

Many thanks and I look forward to your speedy reply.
