I have one Lenovo T430 laptop and i have insert lenovo T420 battery in laptop and getting error "not supported battery in this laptop" please tell me if i require to update any software/ bios.

I have had exactly the same experience. I call customer support and get a case number and they tell me I'll get a call back and a week later I still haven't heard from them. there is no accountability within the support organization. My case was given a new case number 3 or 4 times and I have yet to get the issue resolved. They have replaced the mother board twice at my home, and they still don't understand why I can't activate windows 8. And they never will if they keep passing the case around and doing the same thing over and over again without escalating it. Very poor management. The people I talk to are great, but their system ensures you have no recourse if you don't get results. I was told it was escalated to customer care and never heard from anyone. I extracted a name about who was handling my case and tried to call, only to find that it's someone else now and he'll call when he has time? I've been waiting 16 days. Good people, really bad system.

On Feb 26, 2014, I've place on order at Lenovo site for a Yogo laptop. I had needed for my work and wish it deliver on time for it. Order number Confirmation for order. On March 6, Lenovo shipped the order with UPS tracking number, March 9, UPS sent notification of order be deliver on 2nd day air on Monday March 10, 2014. On March 10, 2014, UPS notice deliver during the morning. Checked again later that evening because order was not deliver. UPS status change to later that evening. Tuesday, check the UPS status shows UPS notice to be deliver sometime on Tuesday. Again, no deliver on Tuesday. Called UPS on Wednesday for confirmation on delivery to which UPS says to give them tomorrow. Next day, same thing, no delivery. Contact UPS again to which they suggested calling Lenovo. Called Lenovo and asked them to open a investigation on the order. The representative says she will. Tired of waiting called Lenovo to cancel order and request refund. Waited and waited couple days later to followup on with Lenovo. Lenovo rep says there is no investigative report and that she needs to open one up. Called again to Lenovo the following on April 2 for status to which case 100000014071 for a refund. Since then, I have been checking and emailing Lenovo to which they have stop responding to my email.

I am so very upset with Lenovo and how they handle a simple returns. As of April 17, I do not have my refund and Lenovo has not reply on my email status.



I am so tired of waiting on Lenovo action on my case. The issue is with UPS and Lenovo, why do I have to wait for my money refund !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never ever purchase anything from now on from Lenovo site.

The number shown, while working, says it's been replaced by a new number: The Lenovo customer service people I spoke to were prompt, courteous, and correct in response to my questions about a billing issue and while I've only contacted them twice about a recent desktop purchase (before this I called about a problem with UPS delivery) but I have nothing but good things to say about the people they have on the phone - great service and a short wait - and both times when I got off the phone the problem was solved.

I bought lenovo e431 after only three days I have had nothing but problems. There is no recovery drive on the computer told me I must buy a recovery disc. A additional $59 audio driver does not work. Their customer service sucks. If you want good customer service stick with Dell. My warranty was up by nine days customer service told me they would take care of the problem and I didn't have to worry about it and that's exactly what they did. Lenovo has taking my money and left me with a piece of sh.it The only thing I got from Lenovo is a big headache. I am going to try to return this piece of sh.it If anyone is looking for a good computer is great customer service go to Dell. The meaning of Lenovo is run like hell.

I received a new tablet that was not functioning right out of the box. I sent it in (they tried to get me to pay shipping) and they said the part would not be in for three months. It has already been a month that they have had the system. Trying to get a replacement or a refund has been more than a headache, the escalation team DOES NOT call back in a timely manner.. Save your money, buy elsewhere. Lenovo is a joke and their customer service is beyond horrible. Ill never deal with Lenovo again.

Customer support in Leonovo is a fiction - there are no possibility to contact with anyone - there are no mails, and the phones are all time occupied or nobody is hang on. Consequently - the customer support is a lye.

My experience with Lenovo Customer support has been very disappointing. After spending hours trying to find help through the web-site and twice trying to solve the problem by phone, I have given up. Or am I wrong thinking my IdeaTab A1107 should be able to connect to my pc. It is certainly not a major problem but trying to find out anything from Lenovo sure is frustrating.

I have spent the last month trying to get a hold of repair service for my laptop which has had this defect since it was bought. I have mad many calls in which all of them I was attended very poorly. I have talked to 5 different representatives and they were all very rude and did not assist me with my problem. They all kept forwarding my call to the same people saying that they could not assist me with my laptop. Two of the representatives were especially rude with their tone of voice and comments toward my information. Lastly when I was told by two representatives about a price I had to pay to repair my laptop I was given two totally different prices. Overall I am definitely not pleased at all with this product and will make sure to never buy another product from this company and I will tell others of the problems I had with Lenovo.

The worst customer service ever. I had a table sent back twice to Lenovo. First time it was returned with the same issue of not turnign on. Returned it a second time and waited over 2 weeks before I called and inquired abut the repair. Teh rep said that a manager will call me back in 2 to 3 days. last product my company will buy from lenovo. Gone are the IBMSERV excellent customer suerice days.

Still waiting on replacement workstation. Estimated ship dates have been changed on me 16 times since 17 January 2013. I had 2 complete hard drive failures in less than 4 months. Also if you install a Lenovo secondary DVD burner, a faceplate is not included with the burner. Because of the design of the front cover, it is too far recessed for another cover plate to make contact with the open/close button on the DVD Burner.

Estimated ship date for replacement workstation has been changed on me 16 different times since 17 January 2013.

Today 12 February 2013 @ 10:58 HRS.EST, I was told by Aarwat Sohtun from Lenovo, that my workstation would definitely be shipped out today. He further told me that I would be sent an email notification by the end of business today indicating that my workstation had been shipped. It is now 22:04 hrs. EST., and I have not received any email from Lenovo indicating that the workstation has been shipped from China. To make matters worse, per the Lenovo Website, the shipping status is still showing only that the order has been received. This has not changed since 17 January 2013. At no time has there ever been any indication that the workstation has ever been in production status.

I bought a Lenovo H4 series computer with windows 7 operating system installed from Future Shop. Microsoft now tells me that the operating system is NOT an approved copy. Since Lenovo customer service is so bad and Lenovo does not seem to care about customers, I don't expect Lenovo to provide me with an acceptable approved operating system. Otherwise I am very happy with the product.

They sent me the wrong disks for recovery and because my warranty is up,they suggested I needed to buy the correct ones that should have come with the computer to begin with. You've got to be kidding me!? This is not a warranty issue. This was lonovo's mistake.

This is the worst company for computers ever. We have been trying to order a laptop for 2 MONTHS! It has been charged on the wrong card, they have given us several instead of one, and they JUST DON'T CARE! We've made about 55 phone calls and every time, "oh, how are you ma'm? Great!" When we answer that we are feeling horribly. They are most likely teenagers that needs jobs. Never buy from Lenovo!

Technical support is a joke. My computer has been unstable since purchase. Tech support wiped my "Works" completely off the hard drive. I have been told so many stories about repair and warranty and no two are the same. I have been without a working computer for 3 months now, can't reach anyone who cares. Will never deal with Lenovo or IBM again

since last few days continuously i hv followed regarding lanovo laptop query complain no.4270657092,for your kind information after given complain number, i think there are 72 hour passed but there is no any phone call from your side.its really a very bed experience of mine with Lanovo.i think your company are not take it seriously.I think this is my last experience with your company......

guys my son bought this laptop based on price and power to do gaming....live and learn....... sometimes cheap is not good and LENOVO has the poorest warranty response I have seen and I work for top 5 service company globally. no follow thru on calls, poor response time, bad repairs. (been without a laptop for two months now and only 7 months old!!!!! never again........ I’ll pay the difference to buy better and get me out of this endless poor service loop

Lenovo is a company built on profits only.
They do not care about returns, or any other issues that their customers may experience. This can be seen first hand if you have ever had to deal with them especially over the phone. No wonder they do not have many centers and prefer to do business over the phone.
It is their sneaky way of avoiding CUSTOMERS unless it is for sales!

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do not bother calling, you will be transferred several times, wait on hold for an average of 30mins-1hr. Everyone gives you different information, and no one knwos what they are talking about. When it comes to sales they act nice and answer the phone.If you ever need to return something it is almost impossible, they complicate everything and are shady. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM, because chances are if you ever need to return something you will not be able to. NO JOKE.

beleivable!!! i have been trying to get the simplest question answered--I have gone through 3 lovely people who cannot communicate with English speakers. You should be ashamed of yourselves to put them in customer service. i have now tried to find out the answer online. I just purchased my lenovo 2 months ago and I purchased one for my son last night. needless to say i am cancelling the $800 order for my son and returning my product asap. What a horrible company and a complete wsste of my time.

Ordered my laptop and was helped by a great guy named Ryan from Raleigh North Carolina.

Later checked on my order status and spoke with Karthik Krishnamoorty from India.

Really? Once they have an American sale us the product they swap us over to a foreigner.

I guess that's what you can do once they have your money and that's why our unemployment rate sucks. The Karthik's of the world, working for American companies.
