I love my 2015 Kia Sportage I purchased the vehicle in January of 2014. I wish the Kia would offer certain features such as: text messages and alerts, weather links, show a screen that displays music and all other functions on the instrument panel were the odometer is, have blind spot function. The price of the vehicle is the same as the Hyundai Tuscon, but the Tuscon offers the features I listed. Kia needs to offer the same without costing more.

I am beside myself over the fact that I Co Signed for my son to buy a 2013 Kia with 109 miles, brand new & the engine went with 45,000 miles on it and they won't honor the maintenance agreement. My mechanic told me that his neighbor who lives in Aston is giving the same problem along with 5 other people just this month that he knows of.

He has 3 years left of payments & traded in a beautiful Malibu. ???!!!! They are trying to tell me I need to supply 9 oil change receipts! THEY WANT $8,000 TO REPLACE MOTOR. We live check to check & he raises his 4 year old son. I don't know what to do!!!! Please call if anyone can help me. I am desperate.

Kia is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. If I had read the reviews earlier I probably would not have purchased a car from them and I definitely would not have recommended them to family members.
My car was included in the fuel reimbursement program. So because Kia lied about MPGs I have to be inconvenienced to get my money. Every time I want to submit a claim I have to drive 40 minutes to get my mileage verified by the dealership. The worst part is the last two times I did this the stupid dealership never even submitted them. While wondering why I have to go through this when they were the ones that lied I found out that others feel the same way and there was a lawsuit I was never informed of. In the lawsuit you could get a one time lump sum so we didn't have to be inconvenienced. I should have been informed of this!!!!! I'm just so done with Kia and their service department.

I received a recall on my 2010 Forte for faulty valve stems. Unfortunately, one of the valve stems broke off 18 months ago and I replaced it with a regular valve stem. Now I am being told that because I didn't save the sensor for the crappy valve stem on the car, not being able to foresee a recall 18 months down the road, that I have to purchase the sensor before the recall can be completed. I essentially get to pay for the recall. I own 2 Kias, convinced a friend of mine to buy one, but it won't happen again. Thanks

After two long trips and a lot of time wasted to Westside Kia in Katy Texas , I was told by the service manager that they were unable to install the order part which was a harness light system for a small trailer . The first call was 10/15 to make an appt and have the part ordered. On 10/19 arrived for the appt only to be told they failed to order the part on10/20 part came in so went for the installation. After 3 hours was told this could not be accomplished on my particular Kis. Wedtside Kia was where the car was purchased new. The service manager was not knowledgable of the car's workings. I spent at least 6 wasted hours plus had to go elsewhere for a solution. I figure I am due at least $400.00 for time, and gas.

Hi. I sent an email previously--reference . I was disappointed about being harassed by local dealerships to trade in. John from Kia called and left message voicing his concern and apology stating that this is not the Kia way. I appreciate your call and acknowledging my concern. I am still a little leery of this behavior but I do like my Kia. Thank you.

I have been buying KIA cars since 2004. I currently own a 2013 KIA Optima EX. While driving yesterday, my gears started sticking and I was concerned about driving the car any distance. I called KIA roadside assistance to tow my car to my dealership on Virginia Beach Blvd. in VA Beach, 20+ miles from where I was. I waited on hold for 15 minutes and hung up. When I called my dealership to ask for assistance, they said they were sorry I was having these issues but there was nothing they could do. They suggested I call my insurance company to see if I had free towning. Seriously.....what's the point of KIA roadside assistance? It was 90+ degrees and thankfully, my cell phone battery was charged. I called KIA roadside again and after another 10 minutes on hold hung up. My son had to leave work to follow me to the dealership in the event the car broke down along the way. My car has been there close to 24 hours and they are still "running tests" and will try to get back to me after their lunch break. I am without a car and wasn't offered a loaner. My friends swear by their Hyundai's and after this frustration, that will be my next choice.

I bought a brand new 2015 kia soul from them in November last year. The leather seats are coming apart from where the seatbelt rubs it. They offer to fix it for a one time as a curiosity, they state that is is normal wear and tare. Really??? l the car is less than 6 months old. I have been a loyal Kia customer this is my 3rd new kia. and they have lost my business forever. I will never refer anyone to buy a kia. They so called roadside service is a joke.. It is only valid if they tow you to the dealer so the can xxxx you on repairs you can get else were for just a fraction of the price.

I have a 2009 Kia Optima Model EX and since I've had it the lock on the drivers' side have not adequately worked. I have had it at a Kia dealer to be repaired on numerous occasions. Is this a continual problem for this brand because next year I had wanted to purchase another one.

I bought a 2012kia sorento brand new. I was so happy with my purchase , I bought another one. the salesman talked up the100,000 mile warranty, and that was the only reason I bought two. be careful , the warranty aint all that. wait till you really need it, like in my case, the dealer, Cochran of Robison, turned there backs on me and left me out to dry. I had my car towed in two weeks ago and no one contacted until I called in a state of anger after 10 days .
I would not by another kia under any circumstance, nor would I ever encourage any person that I remotely cared for to buy one. the kia is comparable to any other car in its class, but the service after the sale is in my experience, could not be worse!!!! I really mean that, gotta tell you. the crew at robinson Cochran treated my like a complete jerk, no one calls you back, no one answers the phone and the right hand doesn't know what the left is doin, no one can give you a straight answer. ive owned them all, chevys, gmc, cadilac dodges, and of all the dealers this one has gotta be the worse.. kia really needs to step in and demand a degree of professionalism from there dealerships because they give the car a bad name. I wish I was better at creative writing, so I really could describe how I feel.
ive made a lot of mistakes in my life, and this one is up there .. all I want is my car back and I only want it to run for an hour so I can trade it in and put this kia mess at Cochran behind me

My wife and I recently drove from Livingston Tx. To Dickinsion Tx. ( 100 miles ) to Gay Kia in response to their online adds for the Kia Forte. The dealership sales manager explained that prices did not include all their add ons. They also low balled our trade in value of our 2012 Forte which we had purchased new. Due to the negative experience. We may not purchase a new Kia.

I purchase a new 2013 Kia Rio on September 1st, 2012. Since then, I have had 5 flat tires with irreplaceable side punctures, all on the front passenger tire. I've even had to replace the TPMS sensors, that cost approximately $8000, when the tire blew out on the freeway. On April 13th, 2015, I talked to Carlos at Kia Carson and when I explained to him my history with the vehicle. He explained that it could happen, where one tire keeps getting damage over and over again and that I could be driving the vehicle in a manner that causes the tires to go flat. He said that Kia cannot control the conditions of the road or has no idea how the car is being driven.

It appears that Kia repair doesn't want to examine the pattern of having the same tire repeatedly going flat. At this point, I'm starting to feel unsafe in driving the vehicle. I've already had a blowout on the freeway which cause considerable damage and I feel that I am putting my life in danger when driving on the freeway. I would like the car to be fix and the all the money I've spent on tire repairs reimbursed but I don't feel as though Kia will give the car the proper inspections and thorough analysis to find the true root of the problem. They are more concerned about placing the blame on me the consumer as the root of the reoccurring problem.

But according to the Car Lemon law, if a car has been repaired 4 or more times for the same Defect within the warranty period and the defect has not been fixed, the car qualifies as a Lemon. In that case by law, Kia Motors is required to provide me with either a cash payment, a replacement car, or may be required to repurchase the vehicle from me.

I look forward to a permanent resolution.

I bought a 2012 Kia Optima 2 yrs ago and loved it. I heard some clicking noises this past winter while changing my oil and took it in to the dealer, Parsons Kia of Winchester Va. They heard the noise and had to wait for some corporate person to decide on what to do. Mean while he is at a "Convention" in Vegas. Two weeks later......it was decided to put the lower half of engine in, still not knowing where the noise came from, according to Scott the service manager. 3 months later I hear the same noise and called today. Scott was at lunch and was told he would call back, this was at 12:30 it is 5:51 right now...........long lunch! Scott also told me to use Kia oil filters in the future when changing the oil, as I do my own and I did the last two times, Still wondering when I'm going to get a call. I think they are trying to avoid something that might cost Kia money, Isn't that why Kia has 100,000 mile warranty?

My husband bought me a 2013 kia optima 2 almost 3 years ago and in October of last year he upgraded to the 2014 and I've been having tire issues since I've gotten this car and I'm not a happy customer.

I have a 2006 Kia Sedona. I'm not happy with the service department in St Joseph, MO. One time when they changed the oil, I used the dip stick to make sure they did change it as there should be clean oil on the dipstick. There was no oil at all showing. Sowed it to the service manager and he tried to make me believe it had enough oil in it using all kinds of excuses. After they added another gallon of oil, it finally made it so I could see oil on the dipstick like it should. Problem #2 at a later date after taking the Sedona to the same Kia dealer for a recall on a pipe to the rear heater. Got it home and there was no antifreeze in the over flow tank. I live 50 miles from the dealer so driving back just to have them add antifreeze is out of the question. I think they hurried and didn't add the right amount of anti freeze and that air was still in the system. Poor job, in my opinion.

Not sure if anyone will see this or if it even matters to anyone. I have noticed on my 2015 Sorrento that the hand on the speedometer is really hard to see. It is red but very small. The reason I am saying anything about it is I have to lean down to see what my speed is. I really love my Kia, this is my third one. I also think the third row should be electric as well as the back seat. They should go down flat altogether or individually. I travel with dog kennels and this would be wonderful. Thank you for your time.

(VIVA KIA-El Paso, TX) On November 22, 2014, my wife and I, bought a 2015 KIA Sorento. We were so amazed and fully satisfied with the vehicle that we decided to buy another KIA vehicle, a FORTE 5. On December 15, 2014, I contacted a salesman and a deal was made through the phone, via voice and text, to make sure there were no misunderstandings. After promotions, rebates and negotiations, I was promised a $286 monthly payments for 60 months at 1.9% and $2,000 down. That same day, I made arrangements to travel from Las Cruces, NM to El Paso, TX and withdrawal my children from school early in order to be on time to sign the paperwork. During signing, at the finance department, I notice that there was an error. They made a change on the duration of the loan. The payment was the same, but the duration was for 72 months. I brought it to the finance manager's attention, Mr. Fernando Martinez, but perceptively made me feel like if I was a falsifier. I was told they could not give the deal, they promised, because they will be losing money on the deal. He offered me another option, $298 for 60 months, but I declined and I had to walk out from the deal because it was not the deal I was ultimately promised. I went and speak to David, the salesman, and he confirmed what we agreed on the first place. David went and to speak to upper management and he was told that it was a misunderstanding and they could only offer me a $298 payment for 60 months. This is not fair business and I am very disappointed for their practice after I purchased a vehicle from them and force me, literally, to give them a perfect score on the survey. They pulled my credit report twice within a month and this will impact my credit score, negatively.

Kia of Waldorf, has extremely poor customer service. After several attempts to contact them, still no response. I am not sure why this is but you deserve better service and so do your car. There is a Kia dealership in Marlow Heights MD and Bowie MD with exceptional customer service and quality service for your car.
