getting a human being is sufficiently irritating that by the time you're in the right queue you're ready to throw your phone through a window. They managed to mislead me into an overdraft which they falsely told me I was covered on and then rack up hundreds of dollars worth a fees for. It works out at over 1,000% per annum interest. Truly no star behavour

Fees are ridiculous! Service charge and insufficient funds fee for not making 5 transactions. Fees on top of fees, over 200$ in fees for being less than 3$ short from the service charge!!

WORST EVER BANK!!!!! THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE SOOOOOOOO RUDE AND DON'T CARE AT ALL ABOUT THEIR CUTOMERS OR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
AS A MANAGER THAT DEALS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL DAY LONG THESE PEOPLE NEED TO GO THROUGH SOME SERIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING!!!!!

I am glad that Citizens lost (settled) the law suit about over draft fees. I hope to receive some money back. Check out info at huffington post. After talking to many "customer support" people it is very obvious that they role play and practice giving the "right" answer from the script. Some would hang up when I notified them that I was recording them.

I am sooooo glad I left Citizens back in Jan 2010. I have been very happy with the differences with Northwest Savings Bank.

When you set up an account with direct deposit mention my name Robert S Radnich and get $100 bonus.

I moved to CO over 6 months ago and I can't close my account over the phone because I have $1.11 in it. I told them to keep it, not happening. I just got a letter for overdraft fees. I have no checks, no card... How the hell do I have overdraft?

This has to be the most horrible bank I have ever tried to deal with There is no way to reach a live person???? I have tried everything for over 1/2 an hour to ask a simple question ~ Thank God I do not have an account with you folks and never will after this experiance

trying to deposit money to my college sons account from out of state.
Apparently no way to this wxcept through the mail. In the mena time you are charging him daily overdraft fees. I have been onhold for 10 MINUTES waiting for a customer service supervisor. Apparently there is no customer service. Hence why I closed my account years ago!!!!!

Absolutely awful service- I'm a great customer and these people want to do is sell you CDs and credit cards- they mismanaged my accounts, charged me overdraft fees and covered them any way with my other account- what a pointless place to put your money. Whatever happend to banks at least giving you a toaster! Theyre all a bunch of crooks.

Citizens bank is by far the most unprofessional bank I have ever known. From the start my experience was worse than a nightmare. The people who helped me were right on the verge of mental retardation. I opened my account at the Cambridge branch on Memorial with a Dunkin Donuts attachment. The man "Guy" who opened my checking account, also opened me a savings account without asking me. This resulted in my first deposit to be split in two and deposited in both. Then three days later I received an elaborate set of business checks in the mail (which I never asked for) which I assumed were gratuities for opening an account. Not so! This caused my account to go negative and I received $90 in overdraft fees!. In fact, jsince I have opened the account I have gone negative over five times and paid over $600 in overdraft fees! Every time this has happened my account never indicated that I was even close too being negative! No one at the bank can ever help. I am in fear all the time and this is not the way it should be with your bank. You should have a comfortable trusting relationship with anyone in possession of your hard earned money.

I have never received a lien release for the vehicle I paid off on 05/17/2010. I was told I would have to pay $30.00 to receive one! Haven't I paid enough money in interest already!

I am a retired, disabled, wheelchair bound elementary school teacher who doesn't even have a credit or debit card. What am I supposed to do??

We have just closed our account with your bank. The reasons are as follows: 1: $75.00 fee to take out a car loan. 2: A $20.00 fee if you have under $20,000.00 in your account. 3. A $7.00 dollar fee for someone to cash your check at your bank because they do not have an account. In other words you have too many fees. I will say though that the people who work for Citizens Bank are friendly and helpful.

They love good samaritans. Because I was not the person they were looking for despite being the co-signee and the person they were looking for was an international minor with a poor grasp of English, the customer service was rude and hung up on me for being the interpreter. Thanks Citizen Bank, maybe next time I *wont* refer clients to you.

Worse bank I have ever dealt with in all my years of banking! So Unprofessional!!! Will be canceling my Accts. As soon as tomorrow! I literally had to kiss Ass to get a one time courtesy on a 1st time overdraft that was stated as a misunderstanding! The manager was not understanding & just plain rude! Worst bank ever. They overdraft you for purchases BEFORE the money is charged to your account. I used their website to check my balance, and it was INCORRECT. Now citizens is charging me over $100 in overdraft fees. Good think I took a screenshot of my account balance. BBB will hear about this horrible company and scams.

I keep getting emails even though I am not an account holder. This is very annoying to me as well as others, I am sure, if they too are getting unsolicited email. They should have unsubscribe on there ads to at least make it convenient for someone to get off of their list. Instead it took me 10 minutes to take care of this matter this morning. I admit this is a pet peeve of mine, paying for services so that others can bother me. What part of NO SOLICITATION do people not understand? And what really peeves me is for my clearly printed and pronounced messages and the sign on my door are completely ignored. For instance I have been on the DO NOT CALL LIST FOR YEARS and yet when I went back in to re-register again the calls came in fast and furious, like the callers were running a race to get the calls in before the 30 days were up that they had to get someone off of the list and by law to stop calling that person.

This is absolutely ludicrous! I do NOT have an account at Citizen's Bank...only trying to report a fishing scam to you that was received via email. It has the Citizen's logo and other official looking information asking me to verify my account # and password. So glad I'm NOT involved especially after the offer from your help line to charge me $38 to slove MY problem. RUN PEOPLE RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suggest you change yours as I have no intention of changing about mine whatsoever merely to give you the opportunity to help me with something. So, I will move along to next guy. There are dozens "out there" as I am sure your are already aware of.

I am sick and tired of Citizens Bank abusive fee structures. I have had nothing but endless problems with them, and this is the last straw. I am a student, and my wife and I are trying to keep together our family of five on her paltry salary until I am finished. When you are forced to live a life where your monthly expenses are very often more than what you bring in, charging $74 (or $110 or $500!!) for small errors is egregious. So I have decided to take advantage of the age of social media and start a group. A group that I hope I can raise to thousands of followers so maybe the banks will listen. It is called Citizens Against Citizens Bank. Come join and tell your story, then tell your friends!

This is the most consistently horrid business with which I have ever done business. Always an issue with these people. I have closed everything except one account, and this has also developed an issue. Phone customer service not able to help without a full account number! I tried to remedy the morning branch issue from work, with only their receipt. I HATE CITIZENS BANK!

Good bank. People in the local offices as well as on the phone always friendly. I guess these people making the negative comments never had to deal with B of A. Now there is a lousy bank.

Very bad bank managed to charge me 120 dollars in overdraft fees without me using the account then they send it to collections and are making me pay the full 120 they should have closed this account after the first fee not 4

THE WORST AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL BANK IN EXISTENCE!!!! Its bad enough that these guys are crooks but then they all turn out to be patronizing jerks to boot!!! I work third shift and got off of work at 6AM. I have been calling a branch from 830am-450pm to speak with the branch manager. I have been told, "she's with a customer, she's closing a loan, she's on the phone, she's going through voicemails as we speak and will be calling , she will call you after four (obviously she didn't), she's in a meeting..." It is now 13 minutes past closing time and she never called me back.
