No paper delivered for 10 days in the past 2 months. First he had car trouble and then he went on vacation. I call to report no paper, I leave messages and it all fall on deaf ears. How is this to run a company? I have been a subscriber for over 30 years. Talk about no respect for your customer!

After more than 50 years as a Tribune subscriber -- newspaper now now digital -- as well as a bylined Trib feature writer, I cancelled my subscription(s) on June 2. I've called repeatedly and spoke to many who said they could fix (not!) what is today the third interrupted delivery issue within your term of ownership. I even added a second enews subscription after trying for more than a month between April/May 2023 to restart delivery under an active account. The Tribune has long lost its edge as a prime newspaper, and its customer service isn't worth one more minute of wasted time. Your digital circulation problems, among others, need to be seriously addressed.

Since we have a new person delivering, we have not received our paper before 9:00. Not acceptable.

I called today January 2, 2023 I talked to two different representatives and they both were completely helpless- The first rep present a tub I talked to for about 20 minutes and we got disconnected and she didn't even have the decency to call me back and she knew nothing what she was doing-The worst service I've ever received from a company and I'm going to go to Chicago Sun Times

To Whom it may concern:

My subscription to the Chicago Tribune expired last Aug 2022. Even though I wanted to renew, I have not renewed your newspaper due to the Tribune wanting to keep my credit card number on file. I have offered to pay the year in total, but you have refused.
Kindly, stop sending me a bill for which I have not received any newspapers (I've received 5 bills of varying amounts, and countless phone calls.) I will have to take further action if you keep harassing me with these bills. I have never not paid a bill and my credit is perfect.

I was surprised to discover a "balance due" on my current invoice, which I received on Saturday, August 8. Since the bill had been paid in full, and had cleared the bank, I called Customer Service. The first agent could neither speak nor understand English and hung up when I requested a supervisor. The second agent said the previous payment was late; I quoted the exact dates, and it was not. Then, she claimed I was late with this payment, the invoice I had just received; again, dates disproved this. Then it was for the "premium editions", which I had opted out of, and would not have been a balance due. In other words, she did not have a clue, but she also informed me I was paying $3 for a paper invoice. Since I was never notified of either the "premium edition" nor the billing cost, nor were they listed on the invoice, this is rather shady business practice.
In short, I would appreciate someone contacting me to explain what is really going on here.

Once again must report terrible home delivery service. Six days with no paper. Have called numerous times and computer"answering" service promises replacement but we get nothing. Must consider cancelling subscription after more than 25 years of loyalty!!!

For the third day in a row our morning Tribune was not delivered nor was it to neighbors. I called service # Tuesday and this morning and asked for replacement. The computer response said it would be accomplished. Nothing!!!

Today I get to join the ranks of dissatisfied Tribune customers. 2 missing papers, failed promises of delivery, failure to credit account, closed office after told paper would arrive by noon, and the pleasure of a script-reading foreign representative. Goodbye Tribune, you suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Subscribed to Sunday triubune 7 weeks ago, have received one paper so far.
Call in to complain each time to no avail.
Still get billed.
And wonder why they go bankrupt now and then. What a why to run a business.

I've left two messages today in regards to my not getting my Sunday paper. After checking with the neighbors who received their a Tribune, I'm concluding that someone may have taken it?
I'd like to suggest for the paper to be delivered on my driveway closest to my front yard. Thank you

If the City Of Chicago is so broke why are there so many private contractors doing all this work I see construction everywhere I go in the city of Chicago and these contractors do not even live in the city of Chicago I'll bet you most of them are living in the suburbs

We've been Chicago Tribune subscribers for 30 years. The weekly paper used to arrive by 7:00AM and Sunday by 8:00 AM but now weekly is usually 10:00AM and just got our Sunday paper now at 11:00. We were going to switch papers until we found out same person delivers all the print papers. There is no one is Chicago that you can talk to about this. If you call thei customer service, you will get someone in the Phillipines who doesn't know what you're complaining about or doesn't care. I continually go online and ask for a refund. We are getting close to dumping the Trib due to delivery problems. They just don't seem to care anymore about their print edition and we absolutely hate their digital edition..it's not navigable at all.

Why cant we get the paper delivered even close to on time in Midlothian?

The Chicago Tribune delivery is a COMPLETE JOKE!!
I have been having delivery problems for over a YEAR. The best part is NOBODY THERE cares. I have spoken to numerous customer care reps/supervisors/customer advocates and such, yet it CONTINUES !!
So, I guess the only way to make them understand is for me and all my friends/family to cut ties with them once and for all. PLEASE don't believe that your delivery problems matter to them at all. EVERYTIME I call I have to decipher what they are saying through a thick Phillipino accent, yes their call center is in Manilla, Phillipines !!! Sunday paper didn't arrive until 11:45 AM...seriously? By the time I get the papaer the news is already old !!
Good-bye Tribune....the problem IS THEY are the ONLY newspaper delivery system in my area, so WHATEVER newspaper you get delivered here, THEY DELIVER IT !! So you will get really bad delivery of ANY newspaper...what a JOKE!!

7am haven't received my Sunday paper 111 n. West street

I have been a Chicago Tribune subscriber for decades and I am completely fed up with their nonexistent customer service. There is NO WAY to speak to anyone in the United States, much less Chicago. Every single call goes to the Philippines. Most of the time the "service" people there speak too fast and with such a heavy accent, they are unintelligible. They also promise to do things and then don't. I've struggled with them for years! The Tribune offers no other way to contact anyone, so it's just around and around and around with the Filipino people. No wonder the paper is going under! Get a clue, Tribune, hire people who will actually straighten out problems with bills, delivery, and everything else. For years you haven't cared about your subscribers and you've paid the price. Good-bye and good riddance.

I just cancelled my subscription after many years. I started with 7 days a week then went to 2 days a week due to delivery problems. The delivery service is terrible where I live. Yesterday they said they would deliver a paper and never did after I called. Each time I call they are going to escalate and nothing happens.

After several calls to the Chicago Tribune requesting to be removed from receiving delivery of your 'RedPlum' paper, I continue to see it sitting on my front sidewalk. I am thinking about calling the city of Chicago to request their help in getting this paper stopped from being delivered to my home. Will cancelling my digital subscription to the Trib help to get this delivery stopped?

PLEASE STOP delivering this to me!!!

We did not receive a paper yesterday, called twice, asked to have yesterday's delivered with today's. Well, neither one is here. Would be nice to talk to a person rather than push buttons!
