I Don't Know If Alamo Reads These Or Not But They Should. I'm Sitting Here Just Ready To Go Postal After The Service I've Received. I'm Usually The Guy That Goes To Someone Else With My Business And Moves On But Not This Time.i Made A Reservation In August For A Family Vacation In December And Had An Email Confirmation From Alamo For Are Rental.i Called Tonight To Confirm And Was Told By Alamo They Don't Have My Reservation.i Emailed There Email Confirmation To The Alamo Rep I Was Talking To And She Tells Me They Are Not The Numbers They Use On There Confirmations....like I'm Suppose To Know There Numbers ??? After Several Hours On The Phone And Getting A Complete Run Around I'm Told Maybe The Alamo At The Sanford Florida Airport Rental Has The Reservation. She Gives Me The Wrong Number For Them. I Finally Get The Right Phone Number And They Don't Answer And Have An Answering Machine That Does'nt Take A Message But Tells Me To Call Back. I Talk To A Alamo Rep And She Tells Me She Will Call Them And Have Them Call Me.....that Was 3 Hours Ago.
When Alamo Goes Broke And They Will... Who Do You Think They Will Blame ????
And Then They Say They Appreciate Your Business....b.s.!!!!!

After returning your car to the terminal our Southwest flight was returned to Ft Myers with landing gear issues. Shaken up but needing a car again we were charged half the price for a smaller car with little compassion for our situation. I am a frequent user of Enterprise in my auto business and I know there is a lot of flexibility in car rentals. None was given, nor any considerations to my wife's emotional situation. It was just a bad night for us. Thanks for your normal service.

Alamo and Enterprise are the kings of customer no service. Had an accident, not my fault, and they refuse to file a claim with the at faualt driver's insurance despite being provided a claim number, agent name, and phone number. Avis and other rental car companies work with their customers in situations like this. Alamo and Enterprise would rather kick their customers in the teeth.

My wife and I rented a car from the Melbourne Florida airport on August 5, 2015 for a two week period, which ended on August 19, 2015. While traveling up the Eastern seaboard, we got a flat tire in South Carolina. I called the customer service at ALAMO to see what they recommended with respect to repair of the flat. We were instructed to go to a local service station in the area and have the tire fixed. Well, we did just that. We were also told that we would be reimbursed for the price of a new tire since the old tire was so badly damaged. After returning the car two weeks later, we spoke to the gentleman at the airport, Mark Richardson, and also to a customer service rep via telephone, who instructed us to complete documentation and to fax and forward the receipt for the replaced tire, which we did. It has been two months now, and no one knows where our reimbursement check is. We were informed two months ago that the money was credited to the Credit card we used to rent the car. But we check daily and no credit has been posted. When we try to reach a rep for Alamo, they either have no answers to our dilemma, or they are still working on it. Either the company does not care about its clients, or all of this has been an outright lie. It is sad to see such a large employer as ALAMO give us the run-around for a tire that cost $113.00. I definitely will never do business with this company again.

Great long weekend deals

Not worth the head ache or the hassle to do a online check in did my check in weeks in advance put all my info in joining there alamo insider club flight info ect car still not ready even with a bypass ticket waited over 45 minutes never got the vehicle I paid for ask to speak to a manager got a run around gave them info to contact me never herd from them NO CUSTERMER SERVICE AT ALL BEWARE I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN WILL JUST GET A CAB I MISSED A REALASTATE MEETING HAD TO REBOOK ON MY WEEKEND FUN FUN THANKS ALAMO YOU ARE COMPANY

I reserved a standard SUV from Atlanta Airport and put on there that I would be getting in around midnight. After a long travel day I go to get the car I reserved. The guy at the counter looks somewhat panicked when he pulled up my reservation. He call back to the lot and tells them what car. The person says there is only 1 left but it hasn't been cleaned. He makes no effort to say anything to me about this. I go to the lot and the first thing I see is this filthy car. There is dirt all on the outside, the windshield has bug splatter all over it. Then I open the door....OMG....the smell was horrendous. It smelt like the entire high school football team left their stinky socks in it, not to mention the gas tank wasn't even full. I said something to the person when we pulled up to check out put I was informed that it was the only SUV available. The next day when I got to Columbus, GA where I returned the car I informed them of all that happened and they said someone would get in contact with me. I did receive a call that I missed. I tried calling the Atlanta office (the number the person left) back. I have called so many time but no one has ever answered nor has anyone ever called me back even though I have left multiple voice messages. This is the worse customer service ever. Hopefully by leaving this message the word will get out.

I had reserved a car for 8/20/2105 for pick up at DFW airport arriving on 8/20/2015. Our flight got delayed for almost 10 hours. UA387 from EWR to DFW was delyed for almost 10 hours. I called Alamo to advised them. I was advised the location at DFW will close at 11pm and I would not be able to pick up the car after 11pm. Therefore, I picked up the car on 8/21/2015. When I went to pick up the car on 8/21/2015, the agent advised me the location was open for 24 hours and I could have picked up the car 0n 8/20/2015. The agent on the phone misinformed me and I lost one day and to take a cab to the hotel.

I was very disappointed with service provided and misinformation. Therefor, i request full reimbursement of my rental expenses.

Good evening to you guys. I rented one of your Toyota corolla from Sunday to Today (Tuesday 25th). The customer service and vehicle was excellent. I will definitely come again. I rented one of the travel tans and proceeded to Miami beach with my family. Having to drop off the vehicle by the stipulated time frame I decided to proceed to you rather than the hotel to drop of my family. That may have resulted in me incurring additional charges. On that nite I forget the travel tab case at the hotel which is located on 107Av. Approximately 30 mins from you. I am flying out of the US on Thursday afternoon and would rather drop off the travel tab case. Failing that I would have to hire a cab which way exceeds the cost of the case. Kindly bare with me and allow me the extra time and I will definitely drop it off when I get to the airport.

Had to listen to music and recorded message thanking me for continuing to hold. Fifteen minutes later and still listening to the stupid recording, I hung up. Experiences like this make me never want to deal with Alamo again. My issue was of course, unresolved

Making the reservation was very easy BUT, later, trying to reach a live customer service human was VERY difficult. My plane was cancelled and I was rebooked on a late flight, all I wanted was to be assure there would be a representative in Savannah at 12:30 pm. I called 4 times, getting stuck in the endless cycle of computer voices. When I did FINALlY get someone and I voiced my frustration, she disconnected me and I was back at the beginning of the queue- and I was not even hot tempered! Very poor customer service.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Eight weeks later I am still finding charges being added to my AMX card. After multiple attempts to straighten the problem out I have concluded that the customer service rep, Shenell, either was not familiar with English or else was just unwilling to be of assistance. Will NEVER rent from Alamo again and will steer all I know to not make the mistake of renting from them.

Horrible Customer Service!!!
Rented a car from the Sky Harbor International Airport, returned the car on May 26, 2015.
Realized I left my GPS and IPhone car charger. Yes, I know this is my fault but have followed their policies/procedures to see if someone turned it in. I have called several times the only people that I can get a hold of is the reservations line. They would be more than happy to rent me a car but if I have a problem that's when you can't get a hold of anyone that is willing to help. I have a screen shot showing that I was on hold for over an hour. I know stupid for me to hold that long!! But was hoping someone would finally pick up the line. Was told someone from the Sky Harbor Alamo office would call me back within two hours but of course no one did...UGH...so frustrating!! I think their corporate office should know what horrible customer service this company has!!!

Thank you...Alamo has two top guys working for them at SEA-TAC. I rented a pickup truck thinking I could drive to OR and leave it, then catch my plane home. It turns out...pickup trucks must be returned to where they were rented. I had business in WA and OR. I drove the truck 3 hours down to Portland, then 4 hours back, because of traffic. I then had to return the truck and get a small car to drive back to Portland to catch my plane. When asked by Abdul at SEA-TAC how was my rental...I said great, except 7 hours of driving later...I had to turn this truck in and get a car to drive back. He felt badly about the situation and said "let me see if I can help you." He did. Abdul got his boss Max, who also was genuinely concerned. Max made it possible for me to stay on my original rental agreement and not have to start a new one for another $259.00. By staying on my original contract, I could then swap out the truck for a car, and drive to Portland OR at no extra charge. PLEASE...GIVE THEM BOTH A RAISE! I am now an Alamo customer for life. Thank you Max and Abdul. My company thanks you as well. We are all Alamo renters from now on.

i have currently opened an investigation,,after losing my cash as payment for the rental car from alamo recently, to avoid the CC charge, the bill i received does not reflect the cash paymet, and the counter person is denying he received the cash, I am not a frequent traveler and there was no indication that cash was not to be used for payment, and these people are telling me that there are no cameras there to record any transactions at the airport,....if i ever travel again and need a car i will avoid alamo like the plague

I rented a car, in Miami, form march 5 to march 16 and took the option for the tolls to be charged to my credit card. After march 16 I have been receving several charges for tolls from New York, the latest a few hours ago. Alamo refused to honor my reservation once I had landed in Las Vegas on 04/04/ 2015

Alamo claimed that I was on some sort of do not rent list...from Enterprise rental car over an Insurance dispute in February 2013......

that is a full 21 days AFTER I had paid them.......... for my trip

Exactly why did Alamo wait until I was 2000 miles from Home on a Saturday night to tell me this ???

Why did ( Alamo) confirm my car reservation, when Alamo had no intention of renting me a car ???
I had to dig in my pocket on April 4th to pay for an additional rental car

I have never been so dissatisfied with any car rental company. I never had this experience with any car rental company. I never, never used this company again and I planned to announce in my Facebook to advise my friends and everybody not to use Alamo again. I got a reservation for Costa Rica branch and when I was there no car, no call back to help me, no explanation, nothing.

Just wanted to send kudos to the Alamo employees at the fort Meyers airport. A bag was mistakenly left in a car that was rented from Alamo. An employee named Sheldon Morris was so helpful in retrieving our lost bag that is so commendable. Honesty like this does not happen very often. An employee like Sheldon is a great asset to your company.

Rented a car on March 5,2015, the vehicle was not cleaned debris was under the seats.Change oil light kept coming on and the overall quality wasn't exceptable.spoke with the repersentive with return center she was unconcerned as well as unprofessional.

After comparing the original reservation rate and the final bill, I realized that I was charged $138.00 more. I called Alamo customer relations (800-462-5266 ext.3) and gave Lisa my reservation number.
She compared my original document against the final document. Without question, my credit card was credited the $138.00. I was very pleased (and relieved) with the service from Alamo.

I reserved a car at the DFW Airport location and when I got off of my flight to go pick up the vehicle, after waiting for them to do their investigation or whatever, I was told that they couldn't verify my drivers license so they could not rent a vehicle to me. I was distraught, 8 1/2 hrs from home, and they refused to allow me to rent a car from them. If the airport with top notch security was able to verify my drivers license, why couldn't they do so. Never again!!!!
