Dear Sir,
I purchased my dish washer in 2012 and took out an extended warranty that is good until 2018. Why did I bother getting this? I called today and was told that my problem is not covered.I will never buy another Kitchen Aid appliance.

Hi I have a KUDS03CTBL2 dishwasher that is 5 years old. It has started to have problems as the the dishes are not coming out as clean especially the top shelf. I have cleaned all the parts by following instructions on Youtube but the problem persists. I placed 5 bowls right side up on the top shelf and found these full of water after a rinse cycle so the water is getting up there. I feel the motor has become weak and does not produce enough pressure. Should I change the Motor/pump assembly? What else should I be checking? A quick response will be appreciated.

KitchenAid is a joke! ALL OF YOU OUT THERE COMMENT THESE ELSEWHERE! Worst customer service I've ever seen! $10,000 refrigerator needed repair. After 2 weeks of the company lying about "sending a part", I was told the "tsunami affected the company that made their electronic parts".... Then he "thinks that's what happened." I asked how we could resolve it? NONE! Take the part out OURSELF..... which was next to impossible..... Send to some 3rd party and maybe "they can fix it." Guess how long to wait for repair? 2 more weeks! It will be over 30 dats with no working refrigerator! Read these reviews and DON'T PURCHASE KITCHENAID! Funny thing is..l. I only asked for some reimbursement (small amount) to cover the loss of food and service for the 30 days. Guess what? KitchenAid just doesn't do that? So I asked for some food coupons? Anything to resolve my distaste for the customer service? "Thats just not what we do!" Wow. You guys need an extreme makeover and TRAINING for resolutions. You just lost another KitchenAid loyal consumer!

we recently purchased a kitchenaid induction top convection oven range. From day one it will shut down with codes that no one in tech support can identify. I have lost hundreds of dollars in food and they will not replace the oven because if we throw the fuse box it will start working. It is like playing Russion roulette. I would not recommend Kitchen Aid to ANYONE. And as for customer service it is useless.

kitchenaid dishwasher model kuds01flss5 - very low quality and poor customer service. I have had to have service tech repair spring mechanism in door 6 times, now on the seventh. The last time it broke me repair technician advised me to buy the extended service plan (cost $126.50 + txs = 1 year). That was on 11/14/2011, that plan expired on 11/13/2012. Dishwasher broke again (same part/problem = obvious design/engineering flaw) new pplan will cost $ , or I will have to pay $ for technician to repair outside of warranty.

I can not understand why Kitchen Aid will not act honorably and admit the design/engineering flaw, and provide some type of resolution that at least reduces the costs to repair the same re-occurring problem?

This is to captured today’s conversation.

This morning I called and advised bad experience with CK Tang Orchard on purchasing a unit of Kitchen Aid, your reply was “ there nothing you can do about the service from CK Tang, you only sell the machine to CK Tang”.

I would like to highlight that without proper promoter or marketing skill, consumer will not buy Kitchen Aid, when we run in to problems with your distributors, I had been told it was not concerns of yours/ Meyers, sad to learned that. I am glad I go for full refund instead, with such bad experience and distribution channel, I try my best to stay away from Meyer products or products being represented by Meyer. You guys still have a lot to learn, it is proven that Japanese maker still doing better at least the service level definitely better than yours.

As for Crystal at customer service, - my 1st request, speak to your higher management / director, the answer was– they are all on Chinese New Year Holidays, my 2nd request - leave a message to your director in charges of sales to return call after holidays, the answer was – Our Director don’t return calls. It’s sad to learn from your customer care staff that Director do not return calls, I wondered who would care and handle such case and no wonder service level at min or none at all, without proper guild line or supervision of Directors, even themselves are reluctant to receive feed back from direct consumer.

On December 28, 2011 I purchased a one year KitchenAid Extended Service Plan for
$137.75 on my KA refrigerator Model KSRS25FTMS01 that was installed on 06.18.08 On MARCH 29, 2012 the repairman (DSM Appliance Service) ordered and replaced an ice door kit and connector. In JULY 2102 I called for repair service again. The repairman said a new door would need to be ordered because the liner was faulty and allowed air to enter the icemaker thus "freezing" the entire unit and making it unuseable. After hearing nothing for one month I called DSM in AUGUST and they said the door was on order but they had no ETA (estimated time of arrival) yet. Can you believe in OCTOBER DSM called ME and asked why my repair had not been done. They asked if I had cancelled the request! I asked them to check THEIR notes as I was waiting for them to receive and replace my door. In OCTOBER and NOVEMBER I called customer service at least 20 times and kept getting the run around. I had to speak with different customer service representatives EACH time. I spoke with Amber, Phyllis, Melissa, Clinton, Sherry, Brian and finally a Quenton. I was told if they couldn't repair the refrigerator I would be offered a cash settlement from the "Claims Department". I never could get anyone from the Claims Department to speak with me or call me back. Finally I was transferred to Samantha in Cleveland, TN. She transferred me back to Katy at the Extended Service Plan. Katy transferred me to Taylor in Michigan. Taylor said the extended service plan would NOT cover the door/liner and I would have to pay $565.99 for the door and the service company would install it. I will purchase another refrigerator but it will NOT be a KitchenAid and I'll never purchase another KitchenAid Extended Service Plan.

We bought our home 6 years ago. At the time it had all white low end appliances. We came from a smaller home where I had all KitchenAid. I was very happy with them. I talked my husband into high end SS double oven, dishwasher, over the stove microwave, dbl door frig and gas cooktop. These appliances are garbage. The fridge doors have shelves and they are all broken. The dbl oven is so loud you can't hear yourself when it is on. The cooktop is glass and it broke within a week. The dishwasher only empties 50% of the time and the utensil basket is full of holes. The microwave was trash and started having problems with the screen w/in 6 months. All of these things started happening within the first 12 to 24 months. Our appliance repair guy told me that once KitchenAid sold to Whirlpool he's had nothing but quality issues. I will never purchase a KitchenAid item again. Not to mention the 10 minutes or more on hold just to ask a question. Penthouse prices with outhouse quality.

Kitchen Aid service is abominable. My brand new french door appliance suddenly went to an internal temperature of 61 degrees. When I called warranty service I was told that no repair person could come for one whole week. What was I to do with all the food?? The supervisor suggested that I buy an alternative small refrigerator to keep the food from spoiling.

I was very excited when we bought this house in 1993 because it had all Kitchen Aid appliances. After about 2 years I started having problems with the cook top. I have AHS so they have sent multible service men out here who have fixed it? but in a few months the trouble occurs again.I am very dissappointed in this and after years of trying to fix this, I am very unhappy with this. I am writing this to let you know for some reason this cooktop has never been worth a darn. The model number is very hard for me to read but I think it is KECG2605WH-3 SERIAL NUMBER IS XBO801398
