I purchased a maytag washer bravos series less than a year ago I recently have had nothing but problems took over a month for service the first time then it broke for the same thing within 15 days. I was informed by maytag that the washer had been sold in January of 2013 I bought what I thought was a new appliance in November of 2013 apparently this machine was returned in January. So I am asking why breach of contract? false sale selling used damaged or repaired appliances as new . Now I have a broken washer cost me 800 dollars thought was new can not be without washer and is 27 miles to nearest Laundromat which costs a great deal. OK Home depot What do I do besides take you to court? No help from customer service or extended warranty

Home Depot Customer Service is worse than worthless! I received an unordered package two days ago from Home Depot.com, a large order consisting of multiple top-of-the-line military grade multipurpose tools selling for $160 each. I called customer service and explained that I didn't place the order and that they needed to give me credit back and pick up the order. They accused me on the phone of lying to them, telling me that it had my name and my address and my credit card number so as far as Home Depot is concerned, I ordered the stuff! I tried to explain to them that my information must have been taken in their big data breach. They told me that the only thing I could do is to dispute the charge with my credit card company, and they were not going to take any more action because I received the merchandise. Today I figured out why I received the merchandise...... the hackers went to UPS and set up what is called a "My Choice" account in my name which gives them the ability to go online after a package is shipped and re-route the package to a different address without the shipper or the person it was shipped to knowing anything about it! Fortunately UPS notified me that this account had been set up, so I turned it over to their fraud department and cancelled the account. But I can NEVER forgive Home Depot for taking the attitude that I was lying to them when I told them that I never placed this order! My credit card has been replaced, and the charge placed in dispute........ but I will NEVER buy anything from Home Depot again! I don't appreciate being considered a liar when I call to report a fraudulent use of my card that Home Depot themselves allowed to be compromised!

My name is Diane Vaillancourt, I orderd double doors from your Perris, Ca store in early July this year. Upon ordering this door the person writing the order didnt change the incorrect phone number, after giving it to her twice. So for a whole month they were unable to reach us after we paid in Full for a door that was suppose to be deliverd by the end of August it's October and we still don't have our door. I will never do Business with Home Depot again. I was told 4 weeks ago the door would be in on the 29th of September NOT!!

i have been using the home depot in Shirley NY since the store opened i am very disappointed in the service you can never find anyone to help. there is not enough product i always have to run to the Patchogue store but i live in Shirley. and today topped the cake i went to the Shirley store saw what i needed it was on the very top shelf i went to customer service because there is never anyone on the floor to help and the women gave me a nasty attitude called someone i waited for 10 minutes for someone to come no one came finally i went to the paint dept and a nice employee helped me even though it was not his department then i go to the register and this women was more concerned about why she didn't get her 15 minute brake and continued on the phone while myself and 3 other people were waiting on line. i am going to take my business to lowes in medford even though it is a 15 minute drive but you will never get our business again.

Friday July 12.2014 @ 5:00 Pm My Parents Ordered A New Washer Machine From they Were Told Delivery Tuesday July 15 Later Time Saturday 19 Time As There Were None On The Floor.



Had To Call On Sunday July 20.2014 @ 3:08pm And Was Told By Assistant Maneger Orlando Would Arrive The Following Tuesday Wich Was Tuesday July 22.2014. He Received The Delivery And Was Damage The Person Who Deliver Was Very Rude To My Elder Dad Giving Him Sarcarms And No Information When Will Be Deliver New Product. This Is Wednesday And No Call Or Arrive . I Called The Store Who Was The Sales Person Very Unhelpfull And Very Low Customer Service Trained Told Me Its Out Of His Hands What Happened And My Parents Have To Wait Until Future Notice And Told Me: What Do You Want Me To Do Abouit It! Careless When I Explain My Parents Need The Products, My Dad Its An Elder Suffers Heart Attack And No Need This Sarcasm Or Desrespect.

Having issues with Master Bath which has been gong on since March 5,2014. Ran into problem when drain got clogged up with cement when putting in the floor and walls. Just want to bring to your attention in case any problems arise which can not be solved. Working on it off and on and has gone on to long. Lois O.

I went to Home Depo at Morgan Crossing in South Surrey, BC. I had already spoken to flooring department to buy carpet and laminate. I was told to come to store I had to pay their company to come measure. I was charged just under $100 for carpet and another for laminate. Nearly $200 just to measure a floor. The man calls me about 2 hours after leaving store. He insists only day he could do job was Saturday (next day) I said I had appt next day. The following week would be better. No he insisted Saturday was only day HE could do job. It's not about him but about me the Customer. He then said he could give me 1 hours notice so I could drive back from my appt. He would call me at 2 pm and give me a update if he could give me more than an hours notice he would. Sure enough he calls at 2 tells me I am on my way be there in 10 minutes. I was 45 minutes away returning from my appointment. This worker yelled at me saying I will notify HD you did not show up you can pay again. I pulled off highway got out my HD receipt called and spoke to a woman Whose name starts A..... She was rude blames me.....I hung up on her......the following Monday a man shows up at the apartment I am renovating with no appointment to do this measurement. He is rude and arrogant. I ask him to measure my deck for carpet he refuses saying carpet is not good idea on patio. I said I don't care what you like. I paid an over the top fee for you to measure 2 bedrooms and deck. My painter tells him do as lady asks she is paying. He refuses. Then he says existing carpet is not that bad just get Stanley Steamer. He then says are you going to remove old carpet. No I thought carpet installer would do this. No he says tapping my freshly painted wall. That costs. To rip out old carpet costs, to take old away costs, then high rise fee as well. You going to remove bedroom door. why it does not interfere with carpet install. I want off. Do I care what you want? That costs. He puts his measuring device on newly painted wall when I said be respectful. I was told in my country women don't talk back to men. I told him get out. Don't let door hit you on way out returning you to your homeland. If carpet was so difficult or expensive to install why would you have job. No one would buy and Home Depo wouldn't exist. I am so sick of unprofessional behavior and all the hidden fees. I'm going today to get refund for measuring fees and I have a local flooring company able to start job next week. They measured free. They will rip up and remove old carpet free and they were a breath of fresh air.. If I never go to HD again it will be too soon.

I want to commend Garden Manager, PIP, at Redmond Home Depot. I have had several dealings with her over a period of a couple of years and each one has been characterized by professionalism and efficiency. She returns my phone calls! She fulfills each promise made. She does it all with kindness and competence. She is an extraordinary employee and I thought somebody should know it.

The Home Depot Store that I do my business with is in Destin,Fl. I had one of the most knowledgeable and pleasant young ladies assist me in the electrical department on Friday November8, 2013.Her name was Camille(sorry I don't know her last name.) My wife and I were squabbling over what outside light to purchase and I wasn't being the nicest guy at the moment. She never lost her patience with either of us,was so helpful and knowledable in her department that we both went home happy with just the light and assessories we were looking for. She is to be commended for her pleasant ways and seemed to take us all in stride.Our light is up and just what we were looking for! Kudo's to her!

The over all Service provided by Rudy and crew in the lumber department On Nov 2 was truly professional.They handle our order pronto,loaded our vehicle safely with lots of courtesy even while it rain.Have not seen this type of positive response at any other Home Depot or your competition.

Ordered three rugs from Home Depot. Cost of $700. Was informed they had to be, but they could be delivered within 10 days. Thirteen days later received a call from Home Depot saying the items were at the store and ready for pickup. People at the store did not seem to care about the mix up saying only that it happens, and we should pick them up. We were supposedly "lucky" that someone checked to see who the order was for, or the rugs could have been sent back. No real communication here. No help for loading on truck either until a young home depot on outside of store helped loading.

i am a vietnam era veteran, and i possess a va eligibilty card. recently at the aiken sc store i frequent, they are not giving me a discount for my card anymore. stating that it has to have service related on it, for the 10 discount. i can go one mile down the road to lowes and they gladly accept it, even thanking me for my service. i don't understand the marketing policy causing this to happen.there are so few military and ex military anymore, that it seems almost anti-american to discrimnate this way. i find myself not going to home depot anymore so i don't have to feel like a second class citizen, when they reject my card at the register. i am about to make a major purchase for an addition i am building and won't be using you guys until this policy is addressed.

I had a great shopping experience.Antwood helped me find and measure the lock for my gate and the tools I would need .He also listened to my description of a particular latch for my gate and found it for me.He made me very happy,so I could complete my gate project. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO HAVVE SHOPPED A YOUR STORE ON THAT DAY. MY GATE PROJECT WAS A SUCCESSFUL.

On Sunday September I made 3 trips to the Home Depot located at 2140 Jupiter Road in Garland, Texas. In the first trip, I spent $ 222.27, the second trip, I spent $171.47 and the 3rd trip I spent $31. 92 on some small plumbing materials. The last trip was at 7:27pm and after arriving home, I realized that I did not have the bag that contains the materials. At that point, I returned to the store and I arrived at 7:40PM and asked the cashier if I left the bag on the counter, she directed me to the customer service desk where my nightmare begins with an unprofessional, uneducated inconsiderate employee called Jackie. First when I arrived, she did not raise her head to even look at who was standing infront of her as she to another employee. After 4 minutes, she look at me and said "can I help you" and I responded with an enquiry about my bag. Instead of asking me what I want she directed me to aile 23 and said I will have someone help you. I walked to aile 23 and waited for 5 minutes without any help, I then returned to her and told her that there was no one to help me. She then proceed to take my receipt and started to high light the things on the receipt. After a few minutes, she picked up the phone and said I am going to have to notify loss prevention. At that point I told her I will go and repurchase the materials again becausenI do not have time to waiit for loss prevention for a mare $12 when I just spent almost $400 that morning at that store.
After making the purchase I came back and ask Jackie why she was calling loss prevention and she tols me " just to make sure you did not walk out with the bag . I then reminded her that, this morning as I was at the paint counter, I withness a similar incident and the customer was nicely taking care off and if they can do that why Iam I being treated differently. She then proceed to tell me that, that was the policy and I told her that if that is a policy, then it is being applied selectively based on certain criteria and that is not Home Depot' s policy. I know because that is what I do everyday.
My conclusion was that , Jackie treated me the way she did because I look and talk different. This was a bad experience for me and it really undermine my trust in the seRvice until I met Michelle at the same mounter who was very friendly and responsive. Richard at plumbing took his time to walk with me to the counter just to make sure I am treated with diginity . Jackie may need some training for that experience was a topic of discussion in my business class the next day.

I called Home Depot a few months back to have my brand new Maytag dishwasher checked as it was clogging. I had never used it before. The service tech came and was supposed to come back.But he never came back with the parts for the dishwasher. I received a message on my v/m that he was going to be out sick and come back the next Monday. Then I never heard back. Now I have to get another Maytag tech to come out. What a waste of time that I have to take off from work!

I have shopped at store#1103 for a long time.But for the past year or so every time I shop there in the (hardware or plumbing) area and I'm being helped by the floor associated the supervisor of that department comes and rudely insist that the associate helps her.She appears as if she doesn't know what she is doing and is unable to complete any task by herself,and lacks in customer skills. I have been a manager for 8 yrs. I myself would let a person like that go. I will no longer shop at that store or any home depot, neither will my family.

Las and the job is not up to quality workmanship.week I had two Simmnton vinyl tilt out windows installed. The contracx6or reused the fiberglass insulation rather than putting in foam insulation. The ends of the aprons do not have the 45 degree cut returns to finish off the ends and it looks tacky. I am disappointed with the work and the fact that Home Depot designated this finish. Will not use them again for anything. the price was way too high. MAO

My name is Carmen and I went to Home Depot from Totowa N.J. to buy some tools for my garage and 2 associates that I bump into in Hardware Was Roy and Bill, Roy is a very nasty and rude person to help a customer, I ask him for a couple of things and he didn't know where they were at and talks and looks at you very rude so I asked Bill ad this associate really ignored me, wow, why HOME DEPOT have this kind of people working there, but thanks to Marilyn, the key lady, that doesn't have nothing to do with hardware helped me in every tools I ask for, I spend 800 dollars thanks to Marilyn Ms. Jingle Lady, home depot should have more people like Marilyn and throw Roy and Bill out which I think is a waste of time having this associates working up in there, getting paid and they don't know how to treat a customer. When I go back to home depot, that is if I go back, I will look for Marilyn.

Now that home depot does not give Veterans a discount ALL THE TIME I will be taking my buisness to LOWELLS who quoted any time they are open I receive a Veterans discount. Hope all Veterans follow suit.

On april 16,my parents, 93 & 96 yrs old, set up a flooring install at their HD of choice, Largo,FL, for approx $3,000.May 9, 1 overwhelmed installer arrived. Carr Plumbing was sent by HD as part of the job. He arrived over an hr late, rushed in and out, and opened the valve under toilet instead of closing it. That night a flood started & my parents' maintenance man arrived to diagnose the problem and stop further damage just in time. He spoke w/a Carr rep the next day. Back to the PM, the installer was very irritated with the plumber arriving so late,which delayed his work & asked my mother to sign a paper authorizing him to get some trim needed from another source. She did not read it & received no copy.As it turns out, the installer had given her a Satisfaction of Completion for the job he didn't finishe and said he would return to do the next day. The next day he did not show up and USIG could not find him. USIG sent out Rob to confirm what trim was needed. Meanwhile my parent's HD refrig handle was falling off and specialty dept hd, Tony, was sent out, who also agreed the work wasn't completed. 10 days later,after I had to call, Tony came out with a screw for the refrig handle, and I asked when the flooring job would be completed. I spoke numerous times with expeditor, Geoegianna, who said paperwork was signed stating completion and refused further calls. My parents & I sent to the store, and Assit. Mgr, Matt Paine, was told the situtation & promptly called Mgr John at USI, who came out, and to see why Rob's installers from USI didn't finish the job. They couldn't as they were not furnished with the proper product to do so. On July 9 the simple, trim job was completed. I called Matt July 10, to remind him my parents wanted compensation for the labor portion of this miserble install, as was stated by them when we first met him at the store. He advised Tony would call and discuss the compensation. He never did. It is now July 25th. My parents wanted to do further work on their unit and are so distraught by this install they refuse to do any more work. They wanted to hire their attorney for elderly abuse and the neighbors in this 55+ community wanted them to call Channel 8 Action News. I don't care if they do. I am also sick of this miserable job started back in April!!!How would you like your parents treated like this?? What if I had'nt lived closed by to intervene for them?!!!

Rudeness , unprofessional , un friendly behavior , insulting attitude , making feel customer un comfortable an uninviting behavior in carpet and blinds department . Incident date 5/23/2013and 5/26/2013 around 8.00 pm and 1.00 pm . Associate carpet dept named Renee. Poor attitude threatening and dirty looks .

Why are there no signs about Veterans discount in the stores. Found out today about the discount. Bought material a few weeks ago and am now told it is too late.
Does not make since to return material for credit and purchase again for discount.
Is this discount not for saying "thank you" for serving. All its doing for me is pissing me off.

got my plants last week, when i received the flowers on the Peace Lili wasbrown, also some of the leaves, i am stilltrying to work with it, the calla lily looks as if it is dying the leaves are all brown.
