I received an email from Maja Ololovska in the support team.re: New open ticket , and advise ed her that the Bitdefender Total programme which I bought mid year had an 18 month period, yet I keep getting told my security has ended. Howcome? at the time.Can someone please assist me as sonn as possible as my computer is not protected at present. the only receipt record i have is but I think this may apply to my original purchase.Barry Morgan-Evens South Africa.
I wish I'd discovered the problems I've found here and on BD's on forums. I tried BD for Mac and decided to uninstall it. The uninstall does not work - I've tried it numerous times over hours, even followed the BD tech's solution to install the uninstaller twice, then reboot, nothing works. I tried a chat with tech support and they did not know how to help. I was told a "senior tech" would email a solution right away - I'm still waiting. They do not give other modes of contacting. This is a nightmare - I deeply regret trying BD. STAY AWAY!!
This support system for BitDefender is messed up!I have NEVER and I mean NEVER had this much problems.I paid for the PC Tune-up with my BitDfender and didn't get the PC Tune-up for a long while then gotten a(trial verison)which will not register for nothing with the code they gave me.Called them over and over.They told me they can't help me then sent me to PC-tune up to get them to help me saying it's theirs.(yet they took the money out of my bank for it)Of course PC-tune-up say go back to BitDefender I paid through them they can't help me.I haven't recieved it yet!Another 24 to 48 hours they say,over and over again. ;( Still waiting! I feel I am being ripped off!They sound like they are all together in this, taking but not giving the product they advertized and took the money on.I am really disapointed they did this.Last year wasn't bad at all,I was happy with them,this year is a all new ball game!
Bought Bitdefender Internet Security. Support is the WORST I've ever had. DON'T buy this software. It's a rip-off. I was promised that my issue with being unable to download the updates would get sorted out within 48 hours. It's been 96 hours, I'm still waiting. This software's rubbish, a waste of good money and time. They've just got a good website and ad campaign. I'll spread the word on this bad company. Avoid this company like the plague!
Bought this joke of a program and it has been an absolute nightmare ever since. Customer service is non-existent, and they auto renew you no matter how many times you tell them not to. I had to have my bank reverse the charges on them because nobody would answer phones or e-mail. I had to search the internet for a phone # to even call. They hide their address, this is a bad company and a bad product. Run, do not walk, away from this hunk of garbage.
BitDefender notified me of a problem on 7/16/11. A deep system scan identified JavaScrip Download virus (or something link that) but BitDefender could not fix it. 10 days later I'm sick of pointless e-mails that have not fixed the problem Cannot recommend the product, customer support, technical support or live chat. It used to be a good organization. Now it is worthless.
The worst company I have ever TRIED to work with. Tech and Customer service is a joke. NO one ever answers the phone, chat line, or e-mail. Beware DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this outfit. Takes your money but Registration key does not work. My computer repairman is having the SAME issues!!
