I called Polk about my defective soundbar and rep Alex LeMaire instructed me to deliberately stab the speaker with a screw driver and email him pics. Strange as this was, I did, and he sent me another. When the 2nd bar arrived also defective, I called him back, and at this point he doubted my claim. I made about a dozen more calls to Alex over the next 3 weeks, and left voicemails, none of which were returned. After reaching another rep and explaining the situation, he told me Alex was in the office that day. This was the same day he was ignoring my calls. I was very displeased with Alex's lack of professionalism and I would advise anyone who gets a hold of Alex to hang up or ask to deal with another rep. I like Polk's products, but its customer service needs improvement.
