My husband bought the 192TC Easy Start chain saw for me. I love love it. Was very disappointed to find that they quit making this easy start saw with the top handle. This saw is perfect for women, the top handle helps with the weigh and the easy start is so much easier to pull. I have tried to replace mine due to accidental damage and no other easy start starts as easy as this one except possibly the one with rear handle that weighs about 10 lbs.

the lady I talked to was rude and seemed like she did not care about my problem. she transferred me to a gentleman that told me to take it to a dealer. it was a waste of time and I or anyone in my family will buy a Stihl product again.

I wish to inform any whom this may concern. That the R&R rentals, stihl dealership in North Bend.is engaging in price gouging, and very poor stocking of parts. I went in there the other day to buy a chisel file, I was shocked when they told me the price was $26, that's at least 5 times the normal price of a file that bought individually.today I needed a cared me to their other location in Bellevue that wished to sell me that sprocket for, however they scared me to their other location in Bellevue that wished to sell me that sprocket for $40. I went to Issaquah to the Honda Kubota stihl dealership.they're much more knowledgeable employee had it in stock it cost $11.50. I was born at night but not last night. I think they are doing a huge disservice to the brand that I respect.

So disappointed in our chain saw I could cry. We have purchased four different Styhl products in the past yr. happy with all but the saw. It has been for repairs four times. Only used eight times. and was informed today if sent for repairs we would have to pay for shipping. So I have decided my husband will never purchase another product. and I intend to discourage anyone else from doing so. I guess I assumed that loyal customers would be treated more respectfully by this company. so so peed off.

We have a small landscaping business here in PA and use many of you fantastic products. Two weeks ago I purchased a stihl knife that has a toothpick in it and the toothpick fell out...I bought another knife and in the last week the toothpick is missing again. Please let me know how to keep it in the knife. I like the knife and many people have remarked about it, but I need some toothpicks to fit in the spot on the knife. I love it and hate to have to not carry it because of losing the toothpick. Thank you for any thing you can do for me.Sincerely, Gigi

I bought a Farm Boss chainsaw in the spring. I am a self employed handyman and I have jobs that require this tool. This saw is one of the best saws I have owned. I also own other equipment from your company. My problem is that I see you have a sale going on if you buy a Farm Boss, you get a free carrying case. I feel robbed.

I have been using Stihl products for years, at work and at home. Let me just say they are not the quality that used to be. My first clue should have been when the utility company I worked for started buying another brand. Customer service is a joke and if you are out of warranty it could cost you more then what you paid for their product. I spoke to customer service about having the same repair done twice and now needing the same repair again. I was told maybe I should sell it! Well if I can find someone to buy this over priced piece of junk. I will not be replacing it with a Stihl.

I have a Stihl PB 200 Backpack Blower. After it has run for a couple of minutes, It often begins emitting a repeating beeping noise. It does this several times, then quits for a couple of minutes, then starts again. The owner's manual does not explain this. The
dealer I bought it from doesn't know what it is. What is causing this? Is it harmful to continue using it? This is my 2nd request for an answer to this question.

Left my blower at 1200 alverser Dr Richmond Virginia blowers been here for 6 weeks have not been repaired each time I come here they tell me that is waiting on parts I've never seen a repair where it takes 6 weeks to repair blower I think they've been giving me the runaround ever since four weeks ago, I do supposed they do have a qualified technician but it seems strange for a stihl company to take that long just to repair a blower, the blower was left here at 8/15 and diagnose 3-4 days afterwards I receive a call that the blower was under warranty and it was nothing I did to damage its my quest, is they said they have a back order of repairs to be done on equipment but isn't there a faster way for parts to be shipped wherever even overnight, I am over 60 and I do want to be considerable to their service i do live in this immediate area and would like to be treated as well

We all thought Stihl was a top quality product. German engineering!!! My commercial grade trimmer required an upgraded carburetor, after 2 years of fighting problems, because the original equipment was "junk" according to the technician. The new carburetor was better, but still I needed starting fluid for every start. I could buy a new piece of Chinese junk every year much cheaper and with better performance than sustaining my Stihl trimmer. Pathetic how much maintenance cost is required. If you want garbage, there is a lot cheaper garbage out there. Stihl should be sent back to the drawing board, not consuming hard earned American dollars. I can't stand it!!!!!!

I run a Stihl 230,260 and a 390 in a small tree removal business,I have used stihl saws literally to death, and they are hard to kill.
I love your products, they are truly pro quality.
But.
I have a removal job on the weekend with two large evergreens in between houses. The trees have to be taken from the top down and I thought that one of your new cordless electric chainsaws would be perfect for the job,so went to my nearest dealer.
Only to discover that they wanted 350 dollars for the saw,200 for the battery and another hundred for the charger, throw in tax, looking close to seven hundred.
For a cordless saw with one battery!
By comparison,I purchased a high quality Rigid cordless impact and drill, complete with charger,TWO lithium ion batteries, charger and carrying case, for just over two hundred dollars.
I have yet to purchase ANY cordless power tool that does not include the battery and charger with the package, and almost without exception includes two batteries.
Very dissappointed, your price is ludicrous.
I inquired to the dealer as to how many he sells, tongue in cheek, not many, was his reply.
Indeed, not at that price.
Please justify to me in this day and age of environmental awareness just how that product demands such a ridiculous price.

Last Saturday I purchased a still fs 70 trimmer from my local ace hardware store. Started on the first pull and ran about 1 minute. After several attempts to complete the job, the trimmer would not stay running longer than 30 seconds. I called ace and they suggested I bring back the trimmer for a check up and adjustment to the carborator. It was BRAND new!!!!! I read several reviews and thought I was making a sound purchase. I paid $270 and have not been able to use the trimmer yet. I will be forced to borrow my neighbors $80 purchase from Lowes to get the job done! I am considering returning the thing and getting my money back and making a trip to Lowes for a model that will work.

I took my FS 55R to the local authorized STIHL dealer in México for a maintenance service , and they left it sounding like a jackhammer. They replaced the carburetor, but I'm still unhappy, because the machine now makes a super annoying sound after working just a couple of minutes. So sure, it terms of functionality it gets the job done, but the noise is now unbearable even when working with ear protection.

The STIHL Puebla (México) representative is a joke, he tries to convince me the noise is normal, yeah right. I'm never going to purchase a STIHL product ever again, I rather buy an american or anything other than a German brand in the future, because German customer service is a shame.

your customer service is worthless

dont buy a stihl if you want to keep working because the dealer will never fix your saw

Well I bit the bullet and bought the BT130 earth auger along with an adapter it says you need (you don't at over 40 bucks) and the flimsiest piece of C..p auger bit. No one had one I could look at prior to buying and they won't return my money as it was an ordered item. I'll use the power head and have the adapter milled so I can use a good bit. But Stihl....I WONT EVER BUY ANY OF YOUR PRODUCTS AGAIN!!!!

Oh and to top it off I can't anyone from Stihl to return my calls or emails.,. customer support at best

Biught hedge trimmer HS46C-E. Wouldn't start first time I tried to use it. Returned it to dealer who told me they would have to fix it. They couldn't fix it, so they told me they have to order a new carburetor. I asked why I couldn't get a new unit that worked, and they told me it was Stihl policy not to replace units, but to leave the customer hanging while they tried to repair the unit. This failure to take care of the customer is absurd. I thought the dealer was feeding me a line of bull until I called your customer support department and they told me the same thing. This policy is BS and I will NEVER buy another Stihl product. Dealer: Rental Country in Vineland, NJ.

Purchased a fs 38 after owning various other stihl products, after 5 minuts of work shaft disengaged.dealer would not exchange even thought he had just sold it to me the evening before.had to leave it for a week for repair. I know have difficult starts and it cuts of when ever i try to edge. Dealer has no clue as to what to do. stihl is no longer my go to brand .

I purchased a stihl blower. I have used it for about 9 months. It was not working properly so I brought it to the dealer for repair. I have been waiting over a month now and the part is backordered. There is no date for availability of this repair, I think this is very poor customer service. I am forced to purchase another blower at this point but I can tell you it will not be a stihl.
