I wasted 900.00 on this hot spot waiting for 4g to be able so I could use this now that I have gave up and want to stop this service I have to go though a act of god

After reading some of the comments from other net zero customers I see I am not the only one with a complaint about your customer service.Is the office for this group in a different country? Every person I spoke to had such a heavy accent that I could not understand them and they could not understand me. I was due a refund and I have been promised that it would be returned within 24 to 48 hours. This has not been done as of yet. I will be calling again and I hope to make it as miserable experience as they have for me!

they are a disgrace with how they talk to and treat people, plus they commit fraud by claiming free Norton antivirus, but charge you for it monthly.

I 've called to cancel subscription to NZ dial up, after 1 month free trial.

I don't mind if NZ already charged me 2nd month $14.95 fee.

just cancel NZ service and delete my account.

don't give me the run around. I hope thi comment will reach NZ customer service.

I have to find a way to lessen the no of e-mails I receive as it is allowing to much advertisements overloading my system and thusly causing my computer to crash. Do you have a solution, as I WAS CONSIDERING DROPPING NETZERO until this problem is solved

I received an email that had your header and foot. With boxes to fill out for security reasons. Wanted all info. Name, add, phone,

SS, Driver lic, check number, credit card, etc.



This one caught me off guard. It was presented in a profession way that duplicated yourselves.

After being with NetZero for about a month everything was good. But then I noticed strange amounts of money being taken from my credit number. After going through I discovered that Net"Zero" was taking an extra amount of credit from me. After talking to customer service, (which was full of lies) I was asked to send an email. After sending a large multitude of emails over the course of a weak I finally get a reply stating that the account does not "exist" I contacted customer service again and was transferred to a poorly educated women of the English language. I discover she speaks Spanish and after talking with her about it she suddenly disconnects when she realizes that she wasn't going to be able to rip me off. After many calls, all of which were broken off when I attempted to speak to the person in their own language I finally cancelled my account.



But as you can guess, I was still charged... Heavily. It took nearly 200$ worth to cancel the account, and another 300$ to stop all contact with Net"""Zero""".

By far, this is the worst company I have ever seen. Their customer service among the worst.
Their ratings and speed is the worst.
The supervisors are the worst.
Everything that I can think about in a company... They are the worst.
Least their trying to scam you, their the best in that case.

I tried to call your customer service but she did not understand what I was trying to ask. I had to hang up on her because she would not listen to me. Hopefully this will work and I get an answer that make sense.!!!



My net-zero monthly payments are $19.95 and payments are withdrawn usually around the 19th of the month. Since I switched from Wireless to Hot Spot, none of the billing seems to be right. In March there was $19.95 withdrawn and then $17.96 was withdrawn on 4-8-2013 and $19.95 withdrawn on 4-19-2013 and today another $19.95 was withdrawn in the amount of $19.95. I feel like you owe me a refund. PLease notify me when you put the funds back in my bank. I only have the HOT SPOT and no more wireless as I cancelled that item as soon as the hot spot arrived.

I can't believe NetZero is still in business. Last month when my software crashed they told me to go to this big electronic store and pick up the operating system. HA! The store said it's been YEARS since the carried NetZero products and couldn't believe they were still around! That was my first clue that doing business with NetZero is stone age mentality. Any suggestiongs for a more tech-forward internet service?

Canceled my High-Speed Dialup account today. There were only two prompts, so I waited for an operator. It took about 10 minutes for that, and about another 10 to actually cancel the account. I was bombarded with questions in an obvious attempt to get me not to continue with the cancellation. The operator sounded clear at first, then sounded foreign and twangy. She was hard to understand, but I hung in there. You have to do your best to control your anger and not get caught up in answering too many questions. Their dialer software is terrible, and seems to cause a lot of problems. STAY AWAY!

You have the worst service out of any and all products I have had. You sent my boyfriend and I a NetZero wireless hotspot twice because the first one did not work. We spent 4 hrs by phone and 3 hrs wasting our web minutes talking to tech.support and we still can't use the product. It does not work wireless. We got this to do our assignments from college. WE ARE VERY DISCUSSED AND UNHAPPY. We are going to the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General's Office and any radio, TV, and any other media that will listen. This is suppose to be a MONEY BACK GUARANTEED product. PLEASE RESOLVE THIS OR I MUST TAKE LEGAL ACTION.

I just wanted to confirm how I see your company as one of the most un friendly customer service company in this business.
I tried to explain to your non American located service reps that due to the storm sandy many of my friends and family lost all power for weeks. I tried to help them by loaning them my net zero internet wi fi hot spot connection to give them access to the internet and some form of communication. however, to do this I had to up the usage level. Once things got back to normal ., I called to ask about going to my original plan which was the free one for a year. However your people told me you can't go back. Not sure were it says that in your agreement. So I will never use you again. And, I will always remember when people ask me what I like and don't like I till them I don't like you.

1. Paid the REQUIRED $20 delivery fee. Promised delivery in 3 days. They sent it to the WRONG STATE!!!
2. Got a replacement 10 DAYS later. It was DEFECTIVE!
3. I have to pay the return shipping on THEIR defective product!
4. Canceled my membership, but will keep a sharp eye on my credit card account for unauthorized charges.
ALSO: Make sure you read the FINE PRINT on their web site. They have 2 connection speeds. If you use the pre-set Light Speed, it's not much faster than regular dial-up. If you go online and change the connection speed to Warp Speed (= 4G), it DEVOURS your allotted data credits for that month and your service is cut off for the rest of the month.

I have been using Netzero for several years. I decided to cancel, and was happy that I actually had a painless call, and thought everything went quickly and smoothly. Notice I said "thought." The rep told me I would have free high-speed internet access for two months as a courtesy for being a long-term customer. I checked it out ONE time, but was still not interested in renewing my service. I checked my account today and see they have billed my account, despite the fact that even if I'd chosen to use their service for the next two months, it was supposed to be free as a courtesy. So I guess the rep lied. I wrote a scathing email, but somehow I think I'm going to have to block my account from any further access by them. I'm tempted to call the Consumer Division of my city's AG's office. This is disgusting and fraudulent behavior.

After dealing with 4 days of no internet service so I called them and trying to figure out when I get my service back they they said they don't know when you're able to fix my internet service after that I said to them I will going to cancel my service and they said that's fine but we are going to charge you 150 dollars for the consolation so so they charge me 150 dollars for Bad the service. That I got the next day I see my account or my bank account deducted 150 dollars so NetZero get 150 dollars in my account it in less than a day but the pics their service they have no idea when they are able to fix it I hope somebody will do something about it good this company getting their money with the bad service people

I had net zero for 5 years. I was never happy with their English-as-a-second-language service reps, but my cancellation took the cake. The rep told me after I cancelled my account that I would receive free e mail access. What she didn't tell me was it was only free for 1 month. I was charged $6.95 to me checking to keep the account. This type of bullcrap is why I cancelled them in the first place. On hold for 15 minutes to reach a rep an hold another time. They cancelled my account and told me that it would take up to 1 to 2 MONTHS to get my refund. rep told me she would rush the refund. after arguing they upped the time to 1 to 2 days. Pay attention to what happened next. They told me that my account has been completely cancelled and they will send me an e mail confirmation on my cancelled and closed account. They refused to send confirmation to alternate email address and said it was not a refusal but a system generated service. She transferred me to her supervisor (i'm typing as it happens)on hold for another 10 minutes. rocky answered and told me that my cancelled account will still receive e mails. to cancel totally and completely i have to send an e mail to [email protected] adding more time on my side to close and cancel account. AVOID NET ZERO !!!!!

Called to cancel. Told them in no uncertain terms that I was cancelling. Got an email saying I signed up for a more expensive account. So instead of cancelling, they added. Luckily, no credit card for them to bill. Re-called, saying that instead of cancelling, that they added another service. Got the persons name, got a cancellation number this time. I suggest if you try and cancel, to record the conversation. It sounds like they have a paper of a million excuses why not to leave, and then they don't listen to you. So protect yourself and your bank info.

Netzero is exactly what their name says “0” without the “Net” you get nothing but horrible, horrible, horrible service. This is the worst I ever seen! I purchased the Hotspot which cost $99.00 and one of the monthly service plans for $19.95. My card was charged the monthly service plan fee before I even received the device. When the device did arrived I install it as instructed. I could not get a signal so I call technical support; which they confirm that the signal was too weak. Be advised this is same area I called about to get confirmation prior before making my purchase which Netzero Customer Service insured me that they have connection in that area. LIES, LIES, LIES and nothing but LIES from that point. Customer Service is HORRIBLE!!!!
Most of all they have a “No Refund Policy” (According to Customer Service) on the devices and the monthly service charge. The sad thing is I didn’t get anything out of this. “No Connection” due to the weak signal. I am so…… &***^%$^&&(%^%$) with them! Never Again! If you don’t want to lose your money, PLEASE…………….STAY AWAY FROM “NETZERO”. UNRELIABLE NETWORK SERVICE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS OF TAKING CUSTOMERS MONEY. A CLASS ACTION SUITE IS WHAT NEEDS TO TAKE PLACE!
