Rudeness , unprofessional , un friendly behavior , insulting attitude , making feel customer un comfortable an uninviting behavior in carpet and blinds department . Incident date 5/23/2013and 5/26/2013 around 8.00 pm and 1.00 pm . Associate carpet dept named Renee. Poor attitude threatening and dirty looks .

Why are there no signs about Veterans discount in the stores. Found out today about the discount. Bought material a few weeks ago and am now told it is too late.
Does not make since to return material for credit and purchase again for discount.
Is this discount not for saying "thank you" for serving. All its doing for me is pissing me off.

got my plants last week, when i received the flowers on the Peace Lili wasbrown, also some of the leaves, i am stilltrying to work with it, the calla lily looks as if it is dying the leaves are all brown.

You lost two customers today, myself and a contractor friend who was with me.

We first tried calling Home Depot stores in our area to find out about renting a pressure washer. No number to press for equipment rentals, so we punched in for customer service. The lines were disconnected. Yes, we got a message telling us that the line was disconnected, and then instead of switching us back to the operator, it just disconnected the call.

So we drove to the closest Home Depot in search of a pressure washer to rent. First store--no rentals of any equipment. Second store--they rent the pressure washers BUT they do not have the wands necessary to spray to the top of a two storey house. Why not? (Shrug) "Because people break them". When asked why they just didn't charge the customers who broke them for the repairs, we were told it wasn't worth the effort.

Well, I can't fathom why this is any sort of valid excuse, after all (1) you have a deposit from the customer which could be taken to replace any parts that they break, and (2) what good is a power washer without the wand. A garden hose would get more water pressure to the top of the standard 2 storey homes in this area. There are no ranch-style homes in this area for whatever reason--I guess they just don't sell well.

We drove home after visiting a 3rd Home Depot store where the person who did the equipment rentals was out on lunch break, but was logged into his computer so nobody else could help us in the equipment rental department.

So, what did I learn today? Don't waste time with with Home Depot ever again. Got home, called Lowes. The store we called did not have any rentals, but they took my number, called around to other stores, called me back and asked when I would like to arrange for them to have a pressure washer at the closest location to my home so I could rent it and take it home.

Home Dept sucks. Don't know any better way to say it/

I bought $30 worth of bulbs last year from the Watertown, MA Home Depot. From the pictures on the packages, I chose 4 vibrant colors, I thought! Spring has arrived and the only color coming up is a pale off-white color that I would never have chosen in a thousand years. Is this completely deceptive marketing and false packaging? What a disappointment!

Ordered a Maytag dishwasher from Home Depot for installation. After waiting a half day for delivery/installation the installer told me they can not hook up to PVC piping. You have for to be kidding me! I don't blame the installers, I blame Home Depot for not asking the correct questions when setting up the appointment. Now I have a dishwasher sitting in the garage and need to find a plumber who is allowed to work with PVC piping.

I'm sure you get alot of negative comments in this forum. But I would like to take this opportunity to recognize three employees of your Somerville MAss. store who just had outstanding customer service skills and probably the best buying expierence. I have had in very long time including in some of or other stores.





We are a non profit serving the HIV?Aids community or people have been homelss and many have addiction issues. We also serve a class of people who can't do dailt chores. We needed a Clothes dryer for our program and we stopped in teh Sommerville MA. store.



Upon entering the store an employee named Chris and I beleive his last name was Ciampa gre3eted us and asked if we needed help. I told him what we needed and we needed to check or tax exempt status and how we would go about make sure thatweget the savings(our accounting dept is fussy about it). Chris wasn't sure how to proceed but he told us to come with him and he will find the right person for us to speak with. He did in such professional way. He brought us back to Connie in appliances and Connie knew just what to do and how to do it and she threw in afew jokes as well.



She made the purchase easy and escorted us to Customer service desk and worked with Susan there to figure out the non profit stuff and exempt status.



Susan found us registered as a non profit after trying to enter our info in a few ways she thought on her feet. All three employees were professional and showed great care that everything was done right. They did it while being courteous and professional. They made it a very easy and enjoyable process. If you have an employee reward or recognition program please consider these three dedicated employees

I was in the Abercorn store in Savannah Ga and the assistant manager Arron was so ruled to me,I was going to ask him a question,but he walked off and didn't even speak to me.I watched him for a few minutes and he never spoke or said hello to any customers.I asked several employees about his attitude and I was informed he is like that all the time.I don't know where Home Depot got him,but he needs to go back where he came from.He is hurting the businrss at this store.I will never go back as long as he is employed there.If he worked for me.he's out the door.Marcus. and Blank would flip

I tried to place an order on line and after the 5th try I finally gave up. I even had a person from a store help me so she could verify all of my information - the order still failed to go through.

Home Depot has been skirting this issue and have not helped me resolve it at all.

I would be very wary about shopping with their on line services.
