I recently placed in order for a Zune and after two weeks it is still in the received order status ( this is after paying for fast shipping) when I called the number they said they couldn't help and gave me the email address. I sent an email from two different accounts and both were returned as failed deliveries.

Worst ever.

in 2008 i was in the market for an mp3 player. i needed the player to store music, ebooks for class and random videos, after about 2 months of research and shopping,,i narrowed down to choices to the Ipod or the zune 30gb,,when i saved up 400.00 dollars i went to best buy and the sales rep explained the diffrence of both and i eventually made the mistake of getting the zune 30gb. it worked flawlessly for about a month,,after about 30 days it started to freeze in the middle of songs and in about minute later the song would start back up,,,i took it back to best buy and they replaced it 2 times,,about a year later it would freeze totally and have to reboot it self,,best buy was very understanding and replaced it a few more times,,At that point i wanted to buy another player but didnt have the money. After my warranty expired i called microsft. They gave me the option of going to a third party tech or paying 160.00 for a new one. I didnt have 160.00 for a new player, so i went to the tech, and his bill was 147.00,,a week later the Zune was still freezing,, i called microsft and they offered me no help,,except paying them 160.00 for a refurbished model,,on march of 2009, i made my peace with almost 600.00 loss and bought and apple i pod,,the best possible device i have ever owned, no freezing, ever,,ive since then sold my windows 7 dell machine and invested in a MAc and n omore viruses,,never again will i ever invest in a microsoft porduct..

Thank you Paula for giving me Microsoft home office number of 1-800-642-7676 and the address for the complaint and legal dept. is One Microsoft Way, Redmond, Wa 98052. About to be on my 3rd zune after spending $400.00 now and with in 2 1/2 years, this is ridiculous. The customer svc. is not allowed to do anything and yes they do have dialog they go by, judging by the supervisor's addresses to my questions in getting ahold of her supervisor, apparently they only have one per center. We do not pay to have our brand new zunes replaced with second hand devices. At $65.00/yr a warrenty, quit being cheap bastards, because your product is by no means cheap. Would you go to an auto shop with your brand new bmw and be ok with coming back with a 1985 bmw slightly restored? No you wouldn't. It is apparent microsoft wants your money with $65.00 a year warranties and oh if it breaks and they don't make them anymore you have to pay an additional oh $200.00 to get a decent replacement and then that one breaks so we'll send you a second hand one, that should do it. I don't think so. Microsoft if you want to keep your people loyal to your products and not send them packing to apple, shape up now. It's your death. And none, just b/c you're o.k., that just means you're lucky, so far.

Sent a week old HD back that cracked when tapped on the display with my index finger as suggested by zune. Will not fix it or evan let me pay to fix it. They say they cant however there is a company on the web that will do it for $90.00. This is my 3rd zune in 5 years. Quality is Crap and service is nonexistant! You can not reason with these idiots. They do not support their products and could care less about their customers. My suggestion is to buy and IPOD!!!!!

I sent in my 8gb zune for repair, and they sent me back a big, bulky, heavy 80gb zune. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with customer service, being put on hold, transferred to supervisors, etc. I made a simple request-either hold up your end of the bargain by sending me a comparable zune (as it states in the warranty) or refund me the purchase price of my zune. I have been told they can do neither (even though it states in the warranty that those are options) I even had one rep insult my intelligece by offering to send me a 4 gb zune with "premium headphones". Now, supposedly, it has gone up the chain of command and they will get back to me. I am seriously considering legal action. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Anyone have any advice?

Finally someone having a manager to call me but put out because like I can spend all day waiting on a call sitting around at home??? I have already invested 2 hours and 26 minutes of my life on the phone with Zune Customer Service. Hmmm....so we'll see if a manager really calls. Why do they have to call why can not they just be available already?

Had great service and turn around on a broken brand new Zune HD but the one they sent me back was broken in another way. I am currently on hold the 5th time calling in 5 days with the last dumb CSR lady disconnecting me and never calling me back. Worse CS ever now I wish I would of not bought a Zune and bought something else. I even asked the last person to give me a manager was hoping someone who spoke and understand English better. NOT HAPPY CAMPER do not buy a Zune.

The worst experience with an electronic device ever!!! More down than up and customer service is a joke! They cannot speak clearly - VERY hard to understand. They also make up things when they don't know what to tell you.

Guess their bad customer service is all-encompassing.......I am having a problem with my new order. They appear to have a very archaeic or shoestring budget processing dept, and I'm dealing with the people in the US! I did make a mistake in not having it shipped to the address where we will be for Christmas (didn't even think it would take more than a week--my bad), however, now they say that they cannot change the shipping address AT ALL FOR ANY REASON! Who operates
like this these days, let alone a multi-million dollar company! You can't call them, they are very apathetic and unconcerned
regarding your satisfaction via email, and I will be very upset if my daughter does not receive her present before we leave just because someone there can't change a freaking address!!! Espcially frustrating
when I could have bought a plain one for her at Best Buy for 10% off and avoided this altogether!
