I bought a 24" full HD LCD TV/RCA for the bedroom. Of course it was a sale I couldn't resist, but I should have. I won't list the problems, but when I finally reached customer service at RCA was told by a person named Marial, they don't have the model number I gave them. The model number is on the back of the TV, the box and the manual. No problem bringing it back to the store, but they don't have another and won't be getting more. I wonder why. Had two previous RCA TV's and never had a problem. Stay away from RCA products now.

It's really imperative to conduct consumer reviews/reports before making a purchase. Unfortunately I didn't take that advise when I bought this product 15 months ago. How ironic it is see another consumer have the same exact problem (blank screen) after a minute of turning the TV on :-( Clearly this must be a problem that RCA is familiar with. Shame on them for not recalling!!

I have an RCA TrueFlat Tv that doesn't stay on.It used to take 3 tries now it takes 50 tries before it stays on. Called customer service and was basically told I was flat out of luck. I will not buy another RCA product! Back in the day RCA had a great reputation but now they have a terrible reputation. Word Of advice DO NOT BUY RCA PRODUCTS!!!!CRAMPY PRODUCTS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought an RCA 32 Digital TV which will not even be 2 years old until Nov. 2010 and it does not work. I saved over $500 for a year to get this tv. I was told by RCA it probably needs a new mother board which will cost another $200. I am very upset and I will never purchase another RCA product in my lifetime. I will also tell everyone I know at work (1500 people) not to purchase any RCA products. Thanks RCA with the economy the way it is, I sure don't have $511.46 to purchase a new one. A very disappointed consumer.

I just got off the phone with a customer service rep named Nicholas. Not only was this guy very kind, patient and knowledgeable....he fixed my problem. Now, it's all coming back to me why I purchased an RCA television.

Thanks

This is 2nd time I've had to call on my player. Its a VHS/ DVD-R Combo mainly for transfer of home movies to dvd. The VHS part was horrible (after being refurbished still horrible). $300.00 for this player and I can't transfer the home movies. The DVD part gets confused in the menu a lot. I have to constantly unplug the machine until I get it to eject. I have mostly (about 98/99% been using only the TVGuardian). It doesn't work at all w/ out a dvd in it. Last night, the DVD wouldn't eject. I've been on the phone for 1hr 57 min. My first calls on this last April were very trying. Similar to all other comments. But I finally got it fixed, I thought. This time, however, (and no agent/ superviser has ever been rude to me) if I can find my reciet, they will give me a full or partial refund. Now, I'll have to see if I can find that old thing. I think I sent it in the 1st time having it fixed, but didn't get it back. If thats the case, I'm probably screwed. But, will post again of any results I have with the company on this issue.

This may be a great number to service a product you have an existing warranty on, but the agent who answered could not help me find a replacement part for a broken headset on my product.

My parents purchased a DVD player for my car in December 2009. I never opened it until I purchased my new car in June 2010. I went to install it in my car for my son and the car adapter didn't fit in the one that was in my new car. I called RCA support # that was in the manual. They gave me a order number and told me where to send the check etc., to get a new one that would fit my car. I received a call from the 800-252-6123 phone number asking me to call because they had a question. I returned the call...the woman on the phone was UNBELIEVABLE to say the least. RUDE! I was rushed to the point that I eventually screamed into the phone that I had an order number and she asked what it was...I told her and tried to explain the situation and before I could say anything she had me on old "checking the status" - I wasn't calling for a status, I was returning their phone call to me! She got back on the phone and told me it was being shipped on Friday. I asked what was being shipped. She told me the replacement part...I asked if it was the right one? This went back and forth with me attempting to explain the problem and she kept cutting me off. I tried telling her that I needed to make sure it was the right one that would fit in my car....she tells me "we tried to tell you how to make it fit" - Folks, I'm 39 years old, I know how to work a car adapter.....it is not rocket science that I have to be instructed on how to insert the adapter... She tranferred me to her manager who of course only had voice mail!....HOrrible, Horrible, HOrrible experience. Then I call the # again that was in the manual to see what they put on the order when they took it...to see if they explained my problem...nope, nothing of the sorts. If I paid another $15.50 for the Same Adapter, I'm going to freak!

I was, as others have said, transferred around to many numbers. The customer service woman I finally got in touch with did one worse than putting me on hold, she kept me on the line as I listened to her fumble around and ask other people where to find the information she needed. After correcting her many times she informed me that she was skimming through the manual to try to help. RCA technicians clearly need more training than how to skim a manual.

I agree with all comments. The customer support team need more training. It seems like the only thing they know how to do is give out phone numbers that will be of no help at all.
