A month ago, my credit card statement revealed that they had auto-renewed me for an additional month even though I had cancelled my subscription. Thinking perhaps it was a mistake on my end, I logged back in and cancelled the service a second time. This month's bill comes, yet another monthly charge.

I just got off the phone with them. The gentlemen was very friendly and was happy to cancel my account. I then asked for a refund for the current month (a whole $10) - I was informed that it was not their policy to do so. I kindly requested to speak with a supervisor and was told they would tell me the same thing. Despite this, I asked to speak with his management anyway.

I was put on hold for three minutes or so and he returned to tell me that his management would make an exception "given the unique circumstances." Supposedly, in 7-10 business day, my credit card should be refunded. He gave me a confirmation number, we wished each other a nice day and that was the end of it.

I suspect that it was relatively painless for me since the amount was only $10 and we weren't even a week into this payment cycle. It's poor business to have a "broken" renewal cancellation button (I'll give them the benefit of the doubt) and to make it so difficult to find a contact number, but we ended on amicable terms. My hope is that the credit follows through - while I don't care so much about the $10, it's rather a plan to ensure a paper trail that I wanted my account closed. Next month's bill will tell just how well it worked. :)

What a SCAM!! I was not even initially planning on paying for using it, but then they forced me through this gigantic survey so I stupidly thought that they may actually try to match you based on your responses. Not what happened - I said age was very important to me, and I am consistently matched with men more than 15 or 20 years older than me.

So - I decided to ensure that I cancel the auto-renewal, well in advance of renewal time (months ahead). I am university educated, but apparently not smart enough to successfully cancel the auto-renewal. I had not logged on in months, and then I get a $200 charge on my credit card!!

I was so angry - I called immediately upon receiving my statement, and was told that they could not refund me. For some reason my request to cancel the auto-renewal did not go through - they apparently tell you that you should double check, as this is a very common problem. Knowing that their site is that incompetent - they still refuse to refund me the cost of renewing a service that I clearly do not want!

I had to communicate with another department, and am waiting their response. I will accept nothing less than a full refund. This company has to be stopped!! Don't let them get away with this - it is FRAUD!!

A total scam and tantamount to fraud. My account is closed (after not one contact in 3 months) yet they still keep ripping money from my credit card. Then have to google to find a contact number. Stay away from edisharmony!

This is a complete scam. No matches, no refund.
Buyer beware. This site is crap and a total waste of money.

This is the second time, I have tried E-harmony. What a bogus site.
I get more action off of any site , but this one.

EHarmony is a total Ripe off you only get around 5 matches the first week after that they do not send you any matches, you can not see anybody's profile.. you contact customer service and they DO NOT CARE at all.. the only thing they care about is your money once you pay for the membership that is it.. you are Screw Worst Dating Website ever..

I am not getting anyone pursuing me at all!! I did for the first week and that was it!!! I'm not ugly by any means. I have more luck on the free sights!!! And they keep sending me my "perfect match" NO PICTURE!!!!! What the hell???????????

lousy.... i should be able to contact you from your website instead i had to google you....i just singed on and i can't access facebook with you. it always say opps we can't access facebook?? i also can't upload pix from my phone there is no option!@!!

Total scam! I screen shot my cancellation of their illegal AUTO renewal. Talked to 2 "Agents" who said they couldnt help and I had to escalate to some security level. The only protction we need is from them. They give every appearance of being a pyramid scheme. I would NEVER rcommend ANYONE give eharmony a bank card. They are crooks!
