Customer service sucks. can not get an email back for verification so that I can post items for sale. no help in the automated help and no reply from anyone.

Dead end recording. Unless you're law enforcement (you MIGHT get to a human), this is a dead end.

Why doesn't Craigslist list housing listings by date available? We get so many enquiries from people who are looking for a timeframe or start-date that is not what we are offering. We clearly state the start-date in the ad, but no matter. Our ad gets buried in the hundreds of ads for summer sublets and such and cannot be found by the people who might actually be interested in planning in advance. Also, when the available date is mid-month, there is nothing in the Craigslist listing sorting mechanism to help people find the relevant postings. Airbnb does a great job matching housing on offer to relevant renters by focusing on availability dates. Adding a 'Date Available' field to the listing posting would be so incredibly simple, and adding a sort by Date Available would be hugely helpful to both renters and those offering housing. The inefficiency of current Craigslist housing posting is crazy! If prospective renters cannot find your posting, what good is it to post all.

I run a business with a good reputation and always rely on word of mouth to keep it going.
Recently I had to deny service to a person who was both abrupt and down right mean.
He therefore begin placing blogs discrediting my business and I wrote a diclaimer as well as flagged his blog,along with other businesses supporting me.You have done nothing to remove the blogs nor have a contact number to voice a complaint and have this problem remedied!
I am declining using your site again if you cannot protect your clients!!!!

Your customer support service sucks. You do absolutely nothing. Don't you realize that sometimes we need direct particular answers? How the heck do we get that kind of help?

I have used craigslist for years and now, all of a sudden. I am unable to add pics to any posts I put up. I will be looking for another site to list my items on.
