Express Mail one day service appears lame. It looks like it makes it to the local PO in good time but then just sits there because they are either under staffed or lazy. Anyway you can't count on it muh faster than regular mail.

I have mailed several items into my closes mailbox and all of them have been "lost in the mail" its beginning to INFURIATE me I BETTER here that the mail that I sent gets to the person I sent to or Im going to come over there myself and COMPLAIN!!!

I ordered a package, and the tracking info showed that it had arrived in my city at the post office. The USPS customer service rep told me it should be delivered in the next 2 days and to call back if it hadn't been received. The next time I checked tracking, the post office had sent it to a different state across the country! USPS is incompetent. I'm now having it shipped UPS. I should have known better as last time I used USPS for 2 day priority and paid an extreme premium, the mail arrived 8 days later.

Add on to first Comment....My Main Post Office People are very helpful and courteous,of course the have no Influence over the incompetence concerning the Claim Department which is in an other State-St.Louis.

Filed $1,500.00 Insurance Claim on or about October 2009, got the big run around,with today's date still has not been taken care of,this is totally unacceptable,the handling Supervisor of their Claims Department Is unbelievably arrogant and attitude plagued; Never-less my Website is almost ready and I'm going to put that whole deal on,naming Names,Letter exchange etc.the Competition is going to love this (I, lost $1,500.00)well let's see how much the are going to lose; More to come very soon!

I´m living and working in Brazil. Every time I need something sent there is a problem and the package arrives after 3 months or not at all. When it arrives in Brazil I have to go through a system of tracking it and if there is a problem I have to go through a system of locating it. If the problem occurs before it leaves the U.S. or in transit I´m screwed because the U.S. Postal service does nothing and won´t even respond to my inquiries. I´m once again at that point. Brazil´s Postal service can do nothing because it never arrived and the U.S. Postal service won´t do anything.
I can´t call toll free numbers from outside the U.S., they list no toll numbers and they never respond to E-mails.

I only had to press 0 about 2 or 3 times before i reached a live person. You just have to ignore the prompts and keep pressing 0.

They left a package on the GROUND at my home. They didn't knock, ring the doorbell, or anything. The dog chewed the box and its contents to shreds. And what did USPS do about it? Nothing, they said they would make a note so MAYBE it wouldn't happen again.

They lost my package then told me I could file a complaint but not at this time cause their "system is down." Now that I have read through a few of the other comments, I have realized that they are a scam & their system has supposedly been down for months. I will be pressing charges if my package does not turn up a.s.a.p.
