After reading comments below it looks like customer service has continued to be bad. Higher rates are charged, customer service bad and delivery is slower and tracking information is not correct. Package I .was waiting for was showing all tracking info for drop off to delivery time to apt. Apparently your carriers can get by with entering what ever they want. There were three pkgs delivered that day and this pkg was not even though it showed it had been delivered at 3:23 pm on Friday June 13 th 2013. Why are we paying for such poor service which continues to go up and performance goes down.
Since it is ears to be impossible to speak to anything but recordings after hours. What is my next step to locate my package that was not delivered even though your carrier shows it was!

Our complaint is to the USPS Oakville So. Co. Branch St. Louis, MO 63129

We have been in business for over 37 years in St. Louis County & have never had such
unprofessional service or response..
We understand things happen unexpectedly, but the service we Didn't receive was unexcusible! And the excuses were worse!

5/21/2013: 2:05 called the USPS Oakville Branch & put in a complaint that our mail had not been picked up yet, the man explained our carrier was out & he would make sure a subsitute carrier would be taking care of us. We said ok.
3:38 called again & spoke with another man he said he should of been there. waited until after 4:00 NO mail man...
had to take mail ourself to post office.

5/22/2013: spoke with our employees and found out The mail carrier NEVER SHOWED UP AT ALL!
We called the Oakville branch around 8:10 spoke with Peggy & told her the mail carrier never showed at all on 5/21/2013.
She reponded with, well if we don't have a drop off for you, we don't have to go by your place of business. I responded with thats unheard of, we been in business for over 37 years & ALWAYS have mail. Peggy said well I've been with the postal service for 30 years now & no we don't have to stop if we don't have anything to drop off.
HOW UNPROFESSIONAL IS THAT!

PS: Peggy you & your branch need a refesher course on professionalism on serving the public & buisnesses.

The worst experience ever. First, I mailed a cell phone to Europe, and it never went there. I tried to contact customer service, and I ended up talking to a machine that just puts you in an endless loop and won't redirect you to the customer service. I went to the post office, and they tell me that the package has never left Philadelphia. I tried everything possible, I just never found out what happened, and USPS didn't really care. Now it's the second time my package is not delivered, and it seems like they still don't give a $hit about it. There is no word to describe how frustrated I am with this company. I'm surprised the don't shut it down after all these packages lost or "STOLEN". My advice: stay away from usps. Better pay a bit extra for UPS or FedEX, and spare yourself from headaches and frustration.

USPS is horriable.Worst service ever. now I can see why they are going under.

I have packages comeing checked track # nothing for days.then check yesterday track says I had moved and didn't give a forward address...That is total crap!!!
I call the post office where the packages were last at.I said its a work address that I have used before and the place of work has been at this address for 50 years and has never changed.
Lady says well you moved and didn't give a forward address. I said no thats not right.
She said my packages are on there way back to send.
USPS messed up and they act like its my fault.

What a bunch of clowns!!!!!

Last year our local Post Office failed to hold our mail, so that it wouldn't be forwarded to our winter address. We had used the on-line postal service to place this order to keep from having bills make a round trip. As usual, they ignored it at both ends and we had one piece of mail with 5, yes, count them 5 yellow forwarding stickers on it before we ever got it.

With each forward taking about 7 or 8 days, I tell everyone that the old Pony Express could have had it to me before the USPS.

Well, today I got our first piece of mail that was supposed to be held in Michigan for our return. It was mailed on the 19th and received on the 25th. So, I tried to call my Post Master. Well, he, she or it is on vacation and the supervisor is also off today, but the clerk, who doesn't speak English well, is holding down the fort. She had a hard time taking down my name. Of course, I'm not going to trust her to communicate a message.

I don't appreciate all your TV ads because they are more waste of money. Your service just isn't good. Everyone who winters in the South has horror stories. I can't say that my bill with 5 yellow stickers on it is even in the top 10.

Maybe the worst one was the couple who rented a box at a mail and more place so they would forward what the couple didn't trust you to do. When they didn't get their bills, they called the mail and more and tried to see why they hadn't forwarded anything. The place said they hadn't gotten any mail, so the couple tried the PO who said they had made the change. Meanwhile, no bills came and the couple made contact with each provider and made arrangements, after already being late for several payments.

I must say the matter was partly our fault, because due to problems the previous year a group of us were discussing how we dealt with the problem. My husband said that to avoid them putting our mail in our box instead of forwarding it, he just took the mailbox and the streetside pole right out of the ground and stored it in our garage. So the couple followed our example, so there was no place for the mail to be delivered at their southern home. Or, so they thought. After weekly contact with the local post office, they finally came back the next winter. As my friend was cleaning up her house, she was washing a bench on her front porch. This bench has a seat that can be lifted to reveal a storage area that is not obvious. That storage area was stuffed with all of her unforwarded mail.

So how bright was the carrier, who day after day, week after week stuffed more mail in the bench seat when the carrier could see it wasn't being picked up. Didn't the postal people who were getting calls from the couple regularly ever communicate with the carrier? Can these people walk and chew gum at the same time? They aren't paid minimum wage and they supposedly have to take a test to assure that they meet 8th grade reading and comprehension.

So, I guess you can imagine, I'm not a fan and won't be buying your clothing line.

I mailed my tires to church and they never received them. I was sick and unable to go to church. That was on Feb. 9, 2013. and they still have not received them. Also mailed valentine day cards they were not received. They take yor money and your mail is stolen.

I have had two packages in the last month just go into limbo. The tracking shows them getting to sorting facilities near the destinations and then "poof", they're gone (internal theft problem?). Contacting customer service at USPS is like getting teeth drilled without novacaine. Such a huge difference from UPS or FEDEX. After dealing with these idiots I have no pity for the layoffs due to their abject failures and gross incompetence.

I did what others suggested and just kept pressing "0". I got in after pressing "0" 3 times. Sadly once I actually talked to someone they couldn't have been less helpful. I ended up having to call the company I ordered from and they are doing more to help me than the USPS (even though it was the USPS's fault the package was misdelivered to the wrong post office). Good luck to anyone else trying to work with the post office, it's certainly not difficult to see why they are losing money after my experience with them on this!

usps employees...I'm sure there are a few good ones, but overall they dont care. U cant get worse service than with usps. Only word I can think if is lazy. My opinion. ..let it become a private system.
