Washington Mutual was a financial institution that was taken over by the US Federal Government in 2008. Washington Mutual was eventually sold to JP Morgan Chase. All customer service inquires are directed to Chase Bank.

If you have an existing account:
Enter in your account # and you will be transferred to customer service.
If you do not have an account:
Dial 1 for account information
When prompted for your account number, enter 1111111111# for the account number and 1111# for the phone access code
Their system will say it is invalid and to try again.
Enter 1111111111# for the account number and 1111# for the phone access code
Their system will again say it is invalid and allow the option of using your social security number instead. When prompted for that, enter 111111111#
Their system will then give up and transfer you to a human

just called o get information on a home loan . i did not have the loan number cause my son and his wife were living at the home and making payments . my son moved out the wife is still in the home so i have no mail coming to me about the loan . i gave chase mine and my husband ssn and they can not find a loan . this loawas make through washington mutual . i think i should be very concerned you can get the money but you can not find the account makes no sense . what if i told you that ?

I recently purchased in advance a safety deposit box at your branch. I paid for one year rental service ($30) August 5, 2016. My box rental service is due September 1, 2016. I'm leaving the area for employment overseas unexpectedly and closed my safety deposit box account today August 17, 2016. I was surprised to find out that a refund would not be received for $30 upon closing of the account-the safety deposit box was not used for the period that was paid in advance for 1 September 2016 thru 1 September 2017. Is this a correct procedure within your company or was the employee miss informed?

Hello, My name is Diane D. Mckown and my husbands name is Jerry R. Mckown . In march 2002 we had our home loan with your company. Loan number . I need the original contract when you took over our loan. I need to show where this was two pieces of property put into one loan. This is because of our divorce in the process. I have to prove that he owed money on his 20A. piece of land. added onto my home loan. My home number is my cell is Please find all documents possible. I need this asap. for our attorneys. I am at work and needing to get old of the Washington Mutual Credit Card that is garnishing my wages for $134.00 per week. This debt is not mine. The card was stolen but before we could get all facts together to prove that he did this all over Edwardsport, IN . He killed himself, with a drug overdose. The lawyer that was appointed when I went to court 01-14-13. The judge was not there.
I told this lawyer that this was not my debt. He said the card was in my name. This sickens me. If it were my debt I would pay it. But it is not. But since it was in my name and I have to pay it this amount is too much for me to pay. I have a car payment and a house payment plus utilities. I will have to let my my house or car go back to the bank.
