I used the info above to reach a real person regarding delivery of a Fed X home delivery package schedules to be delivered on a Saturday to a business. The Saturday delivery was necessary but I don't know why it was sent home delivery. The tracking on line said the package was "out for delivery".
Anyway I was nervous that the package might not be delivered due to the home delivery thing to a business address.
When I called the automated system I said "representative" about 4 times and was immediately switched to a real person who was very helpful and was trying to contact the driver when he walked through the door.
I found FedX very helpful trying to resolve the situation.

Don't EVER make the mistake of having something shipped "home delivery" instead of "business delivery" .... my shipper made that mistake and my package has been "on truck for delivery" for 4 business days now (not including Monday's...). I call every day asking where my package is, that the shipper made a mistake, and my office closes at 5, and could they PLEASE deliver it before five pm, and it just isn't happening. I was told there is no recourse. They all did apologize, but simply said there was nothing that could be done. It seems there should be some way to transfer a package to "business delivery" if a mistake was made. I can understand the delay if resolution was in sight. Is everyone on the planet mistake-free? Isn't this a "service company"? I'm extremely dissapointed that I have no help here.

Here is one for all of you. I get paid once a month, I needed my check (no direct deposit) desperatly, I mean bad, I scheduled and paid for a pick up and an over night deliver to me. 48.00.

I clearly put on the info the contact person and phone number at the location of the pickup. He goes in, asks the first person he sees if they have a package, they say no, he leaves. I find out, after the office is closed FOR THE WEEKEND. And I have to go on a business trip so wont be here if they pick it up on Monday and deliver it Tuesday to me.

Now what....I havent got a penny to my name right now. I have had some unexpected expenses this month. I call customer service, and one girl blamed me. Apparently I should have gone with him??? One girl blamed the person he asked about the package, which it isnt a package it is an envelope. She actually told me to call that person and let them know what happened.

The entire time I was speaking to what was supposed to be a manager, I was crying my eyes out. She could have cared less.. I could have had a stroke and died on the phone with her she was an icey cold b&%*&h

I was so upset I didnt get her name but for my own satisfaction I will call on Monday morning and speak to someone in a corporate position because this is wrong on so many levels.

You think these stories are bad, UPS lost one of my packages several years ago. I placed a claim and was reimbursed. From that time on, UPS requires me to sign for each and every package sent to me. (very inconvenient as I run a business and purchase many items wholesale, yet can't always be here to sign for packages). When I called to ask how long this policy would apply, I was told that the signature requirement would follow me forever - even if I moved to another address. I've asked to speak with higher management, etc and have been told there is no one in UPS who can alter this policy no matter how high in the organization. I now request any business I purchase from to avoid shipping anything to me via UPS.

I had a 2-box shipment from Columbia, MD to San Francisco, CA that was in FedEx Ground control on 3/31/09. The shipment tracked through to Hagerstown, MD where it got split, one box went through Sacramento, CA and the other through Bloomington, CA, at the other end of the state. I called customer service to try and find out how such a mix up could occur. Needless to say, they couldn't help. When I asked to be put in contact with someone at the Hagerstown, MD facility, they put me through to White Marsh, MD, who couldn't help. PICK UPS!

I'm not frustrated, I'm outraged! I sat through the entire day waiting for my shipment. It never came. Tracking notes told me the driver had attempted to make delivery, which wasd an out an out lie. I could see the street from where I sat, and no truck ever came.

I am a frustrated customer. Your tags left on my door do not indicate which fed ex. I left one out signed so I could get my package. A different company sent another package and your driver took that receipt from my earlier package which to date I still don't have and left the new package. There needs to be a way to distinguish between the subsidiarary companies by the tag -- is it Home? is it ground? or is it the good one close to my house that stays open? (no such luck in this case)? When you call the number you get a robot after a while you get a person who in my case lied to me (they say I was misinformed). Bottom line I went to your location which was difficult to find and it was closed. There was a warning that the office has video and audio survelience should I even get there when they are open I will remember that the poor employee with no phone to help anyone find the hidden location with no parking must meet many angry people. I'll be kind but I will be vocal to the merchants I deal with that I do not want the ground or home Fed Ex EVER! If you go bankrupt it won't be a loss even the post office does a better job!

That guys has some mental issues all right. How terrible nice of the delivery guy to call and go out of his way to ensure the package was successfully delivered. He went above and beyond. I feel bad for the FEDex guy. This guy is an idiot.

Sounds like you weren't harrassed. Sounds like someone at your apartment office messed up and the driver picked the package up and delivered it as he had originally planned. You're also lucky he called to ask, most people just leave the package out to be stolen without even ringing the doorbell or knocking.
