I was just at the auto zone in afton employees there very rude and unhelpful trying to return a starter that didnt work in my car its sticking and not fuctioning properly they look my name n number up find the starter snatch it up realfast and ran a test well it said it passed but if it worked i wouldnt be trying to get it fixed this guy curtis hines supose to be a manager rude unhelpful and basicly made me leave unsatisfied with a starter that dont work with a warranty no refund or exchange just take it and go wont be going back a guy at oreileys was more than helpful i bought another starter from orieleys now im stuck with a bad starter from autozone with a warranty go figure wont ever go back to autozone period

My father and I went in on an aternator for my niece for a wedding present. The total was just short of 400.00. The alternator ran about 5hrs. and went out. They were on their honeymoon and in a bad area of Knoxville. I used our bill money to pay for a wecker and a garage. They took the junk one back to Autozone and exchanged it. That was another 400.00. I turn my receits in to the store in Leeds, AL. For coprate. They lost them. Then after 2mo.s, they told me they are not responable.I thougt you went to a junk yard or You Pull It to get parts that MIGHT work. I thought you went to Autozone for parts that did work. I won't make the mistake of shopping at autozone again!

On Sat. 05/25/13 at approx. 09:20 I went to AutoZone

This the 3rd time I've been back to this store, for returned items... The Manager or Asst. Leo for 2nd time belittle and gave me the run around & using racial slurs.. You think your better than me..

My only objective politely was to obtain my refund, The employee of autozone was very hostile and unprofessional....

Other visits to autozone have been pleasant and wise purchase....

I question the whole Company at this point

for putting (Leo?) in charge of this store?

I must seek Legal channels to obtain my Finances..... Heads up to all !!!!!

I went to the store on University and 38th to return a gas filter. Maria D the manager dealt with me in the most nastiest way ever and refuse to give me store credit and threw my part in the trash behind her then called the police and said I threw the part at her and I that was throwing things around in the store. Which was a bold-face lie. Five cop cars came with force.

Maria D tried to have me arrested under false charges all because I wanted to exchange a part or store credit. I've spent tons of money at autozone, been to many place and never have I went into a store and had a false report made on me.

This was vicious and malicious. I can be reached a And I still have a part that I paid for and don't need. As for Maria D. I want to make a formal complaint to push up the chain. She was just so unprofessional. She even told the police dispatcher that I'm black. No description other than he's black, like that was a keyword. Please take a look at your cameras in the store and listen to the police report that Maria made to the dispatch. You will see she boldly lied to have a faithful autozone customer arrested for trying to receive store credit for a part I rightfully bought. I was searched and detained. Then let go after the police seen no mess on the floor of the store and no one(Maria D's co-workers) would back up her story that I threw the part at her. I would like to know what are you guys going to do about this before I ever step foot in an autozone again. Horrible experience. I'll be talking to a therapist about this. Imagine if it was you and you got humiliated in front a parking lot of people all because of a store managers' mismanagement.

I would like to post a pic somewhere thinking autozone fb page of one of there managers sleeping on the clock. Seems that the store is very professional lol If it wasn't for the guy in the Red shirt working that store would have been completely pethatic

The only reason I went back to AutoZone again after 5 years of not going there is My wife got me a $100 Gift Card that I can not use online. So I bought some stuff from the store. I forgot how rude and dis-respectful AutoZone employees are and now I remembered. They are unprofessional and I think they just hire anyone. And this is in 3 different stores over the years.
When I tried to return something on y gift card that used to buy the item with they gave me another gift card instead of putting it on the existing one!!

My Place to shop is Online and if I need to go to a store I got Advanced Auto parts, they are way better in every single way and it is cheaper I noticed on many parts and items.

To whom it may concern.

I am disappointed with the customer service, and the end results.

This is why I am contacting you. I made the attempt to return a battery for exchange. I had brought in the battery (store brand), the battery (tested at local auto repair shop just a mile away) would not crankover the vehicle to start. The battlery was tested (Carbon Pile battery tester) before I tried to return the battery. The battery failed at 100 cranking amps.



The store management:Carlos Hernandez. Store:3365 El cajon, Califonia.

Embarrassed me, in front of his customers; based on his hand held battery used in the store; Carlos says the battery is good,and he won't replace the battery.I then called my mechanic and asked for assistance.

I had to purchase a new battery, without probable and rational reasoning.

I am considering alternative businesses. For future purchase needs.

there was an error in my online application, and no way to delete or start over. so I sent an email to Autozone's "human resources" department, which is a completely automated system only programmed for 1 response. in the reply email I am told my application lasts for 90 days from the day I submit it. but I can't submit it. so I tried to go into my local Autozone to apply in person, to find out the online application process is the ONLY way to apply

i'm sure someone else sees the humor in "human resources" being completely automated

I want all to know that I do not recommend that anyone go to the autozone on rancier, in Killeen Tx. The customer service by the manager is terrible. He is very disrespectful and did not want to return a product I purchased because I walked right out the store and lost it. The man saw me in two minutes come right back in because I noticed I didn't have the right tool to put on the piece. The part was never even opened. It was a returne part in a stapled package and I didn't want to hold on to it insure if it would work. He told me if I went somewhere else I would need a receipt. I was like I just walked outside for two minutes. I felt like if I had been white he would have just returned the part with out trying to give me a hard time.

as an autozone employee, I can tell you the company hires bodies not individuals with auto mech knowledge. It is very discouraging trying to provide good service and information to customers, as someone that knows first hand how to rebuild engines and trannies, when your fellow employees can't even change a wiper blade or understand which side of a vehicle is "left" or "right". In defense of my fellow employees, numerous customers come in each day and cannot even tell you what kind of vehicle they just drove there in! It is not our responsibility to be able to know every single Obamaphone number you have used for your warranty info. Remember your phone numbers and addresses if you want autozone to locate your files. Personally, I will not sell a customer something they don't need no matter what push is going on...I live on a budget also, but don't hold me responsible for selling you the wrong part based on you giving me the wrong info. Know what you need BEFORE you come in or go to a repair shop first. Required info, year, make, model, and engine size.
