Simplicity is the basis for much truth and beauty and especially human communication. Yahoo has violated all four.
And I cannot stand that shrill singsong that ends your too often sensationalistic and menial posts.

I have called, faxed, and yet you have not fixed your "new password" page. I have attempted over 30 passwords and nothing has been accepted "too weak" BULL Fix the page!
I am faxing again today. The one I sent a week ago today has gotten no response as promised on the internet (24 hrs).
Your new customer care answering phone message is a joke. If you can't get to your e-mail, how on earth do you e-mail you?

An awful service!! they changed the from a good set up to totally awful set up I get bombarded with advertising rubbish a stupid stories and now yahoo has decided to change my password without telling me so I cant access my e-mail. I shall be looking elsewhere in future there service is rubbish I hope the CEO is going to read this!!!!

Hi, I seem to have many issues with the yahoo account. It used to be more effiecient. For example, I get email and for some strage reason I don't see them because they get attached with another email. How bizarre is that! Another ex is when I compose an email the address doesn't pop up but sometimes it does????
Yahoo has become obsolete!!

I am trying to contact customer service to explain a charge on our credit card, payable through PayPal, that we do not know what the charge is for. If I cannot get an answer, I will have to have the payment deleted.

been a Yahoo user for over 12 years and never had trouble
first started about a week ago with being switched to basic srevice automatically and cannot get out
now cannot get into my e-mail
says I have not the right address and log in
same as always had
has yahoo been hacked?
no e-mail available and no phone contact
asks for a more secure log in and does not accept anything

I have been with Yahoo for a number of years, had the same ID and password. Now I can't enter, I am sure my mail is piling up, I am told to enter a new password, when I do am told it is "weak" or some such answer. I am fed up with Yahoo and plan to change to another provider probably this weekend. But I believe Yahoo should be brought to account for this disaster.

I am changing my yahoo account ( to hotmail .. yahoo account used since 90s. Your new site layout is simply awful and has caused nothing but problems. hotmail site much much better. Adios

Yahoo SUCKS! I cannot log into my email and when I try to renew my password, it directs me to another email that I do NOT use and don't know that password as well. I would like to delete all of my account As many folks have mentioned, it is hard to get a hold of customer service and you cannot correct the issues, given online. Yahoo needs to change the way they do business or they will loose a lot of accounts.

Something Is Wrong With Your Service, This Morning I Open My Porfolio And Made Some Transactions. This Afternoon I Want To Check My Portolio And My E-mail And Cannot Open Both, And You Insist That I Have Wrong Id And Wrong Password.
The Above Troubles ( Cash Losses For Me) That I Would Not Like To Repete

I have called two 800 numbers and no one answers. I want to know why I only have 4 or 5 emails in the window showing at one time. Being that I can not get to you , can you send me an email explaining why. And what can I do or a better contact number?

I have not been able to access my Yahoo email for over 48 hours. I get a sign in error. However, it shows my name but still asks me to sign in??? Crazy - I can't sign in! Can only access my calendar on my phone, not from my computer. I have called Yahoo multiple times, and been on hold for hours with no answer. Submitted my request via facebook, but still not working. If yahoo would just give some indication of what to expect - how long. I have many important things pending.

I have been on hold for 2 hrs. You keeping telling me to e-mail you. I CAN NOT, since it will not let me open my e-mail. Keeps saying that my password is not correct. tHAT IS THE ONLY PASSWORD I HAVE EVER HAD!!! What is wrong with yahoo?

I don't know what to say, but you make it almost impossible for anyone to get a hold of you, and I feel that this has been done by design.
I may not be writing the correct department in terms of my problem, but that's another problem I find with Yahoo.
In the past, I have sent in complaints about your advertisements that you post on your various pages, most especially your home page, how some of them are extremely huge and distracting. In the past, you had ads that would open up and block the page, but at least you allowed us to close them by clicking an "x." Every-so-often, you have a huge ad that takes up one third of your Yahoo News homepage at the top, but I was able to close those, again by clicking on the "x."
But, now you have placed a huge ad on the top of your Yahoo News homepage advertising "iPad Air" that takes up one third of the screen and cannot be closed. No "x" to close it. I vehemently demand, as a Yahoo user, that you get rid of this ad of which I have no interest in, or allow people to shut it which you have disallowed.

I have tried to call many times, waited 2 to 3 hours at a time, when they do come to the phone they do not take care of the issue, however do give a call report number (which does nothing). They do not care for non-paying customers. I have had an account since 2004 and when I called they cancelled my account and I had to make a new one.

I have tried to contact for 3 days now and stayed on hold for hours and still didn't get a person.
I get recordings that say your call is important to us and hold on. HOW LONG???
ETERNITY IS A LONG TIME!!!
I am ready to move to another provider if this isn't resolved very soon.
I have been a loyal customer since 2003.

I have the same problem,i made my account back in 2007 and i forgot the secret question.My cell i put down is like the first cell ive ever had and i dnt even have the phone anymore.My alternate email i have listed is not even real.Can i please get some assistance,im an soldier in the army and all my important emails are in there.Please unlock it.

Please explain why Yahoo is self-destructing. Since following your requested changes in Compatibility Checks
I have had nothing but trouble. Links to my address book are gone, I can only reply to the sender and cannot forward unless each recipient e-mail address is individually typed. No spell check, bolding, italics, no ---
type size and font change ability, etc. etc.
I am using Windows 8.1 and Yahoo is totally ineffective at this time. I am losing business and personal necessary communication. HP and Microsoft have done what they can, but it is not their problem.
Read the comments. They have all become negative in recent weeks. You will lose many subscribers, including me,
if this emergency is not fixed now.

my genuine complain is that my yahoo account has not been opening without any reason. the message displayed that I need to verify my secret question which I forgot or they are sending to an email which does not exist been trying to call customer service for the past 1 week everyday I call and be on hold for hours after waiting for 4 hours I just give up I really doubt if any live person ever answers. I am expecting important emails and now I don't know what to do how to retrieve, Please help customer service.
