i have been a straight talk customer for many years. never had a problem. my daughter got a new phone and gave hers which a upgrade for me. anyway i went to transfer my time to her phone and the lady says that i have have a $45.00 card i always get a $30 card its all i can get. is there written down some where. i feel she was trying to force another $15, is this common to use.45 dollar card just to trade phones i love this company please let me know.and had just put a 30 card on thanx mike norris

2 months I've tried getting service for my business phone I've spent thousands of dollars to advertising this number. I spent hour after agonizing hour 12 hours talking to your Indian reps. they said my phone is defective you sent me a new one. Now same thing service unavailable you and your service of 5 years sucks! You have screwed me hard I will never forget this! You have harmed me and my costumers and I will spread the word!

I purchased a straight talk phone from wal mart and i didn't purchase a 15 dollar warranty for it when i purchased it and i was wondering if i still could? It has only been 30 days today.

bought a ST Samsung s3 in September and the phone only worked on Sprint towers.. Had to return to ST and went through many hours of their messed up customer service to get a return Auth. SEnt the phone back in October has been well over a month now and just keep getting the run around from customer service why they haven't refunded anything yet and of course please wait longer.. This company is a joke! Steer Clear! Filed a bad transaction with my VISA today and will contact My state's attorney generals office Monday.!

I Gave You My Credit Card Number And You Took Out A Months Payment.you Said I Had Always Been Active But I Hadnt. My Str Talk Phone Said Error And It Wasnt Active. You Never Shut Off The Service Even When I Had It Ported Over To Virginmobil. Mistake On Your Part. I Want It Shut Off Completely Now. No Nonsense. I Also Want My Account Credited For The Months Service You Just Took Out On The 24th? Please Let Me Know What You Do Please!

wth, I have put minutes on my phone, every other day. have the 60.00 unlimited plan, and purchase 2 10.00 global cards. I call my fianc'e every night in czech Republic. and at first my phone was great, the after 6 days the had issues with my time, a 10.00 card would give me 125 mins. and it costs me .03 cents a min to call, I talk 1 or 2 hrs, and I know I am not using all my mins. I finally got to speak to some one that did the same.. kept transfering me to another and finally to a different phone service.
What the hey? and now.they never recovered my time I have purchased at least 9 cards and not even come close to using 1/2 of the time.. they cannot find my time or are willing to refund me. with out going through some great ordeal. They owe me 7 cards worth of time, and refuse to look into it or resolve the matter. Then now when I call I go through the call numnbers and auto recording say a rep will be with me shortly, but have found them to have blocked my number from calling or contacting them... I know this is long, but it is rediculous what we all have to go through for a phone that is supposed to so great and a great deal. Also after talking 1 hr my phone keeps cutting off in the middle of a convers. then I have to call all over again, it charges me 10 mins to start the call, every time what the hell..really ??? c'mon straight talk work with us for such a great phone.. you should have people that can help without the stupid rigamaroe we go through .. (some one that cares)

what good is tech service if you dont keep the phone turned on? I paid for 3 mnths with my new phone and was assured everything was taken care of. RIGHT******No warning and then no service. I didnt know the service was off and as a result it cost me $400. When I got hold of straight talk. No apology. Then I talked to other straight talk customers and they tell the same story. I'm not done complaining, and
I am not going to complain to you because others have and you can't seem to fix a simple service problem.

O...M...G!!!!! All I wanna do is transfer my # to a new phone...Straight talk-straight talk...I went through the activation process...but am not able to send the * number to complete activation...good luck with getting a human on the phone...I have been with Straight talk for a long time...lately, the customer service sux!

Ok So I Have Called The Number Given To Me And Every Time The Automative Robot Hangs Up Or Or Directs Me To Another Automatic Robot!! All I Want To Do Is Speak With A Real Person I Can Transfer A New Phone With The Same Number!!!!!! It Would Be Helpful To List A Phone Number So I Can Actually Talk To Someone!!! I Have Been In Business With Straight Talk For Many Years And For Past 3 Days I Have Been Trying To Talk To A Real Person But Have Not Been Successful , It Looks Like I May Have To Switch To Family Mobil Who Are Cheaper If This Problem Be Cant Resolved Asap!!!!!!

The FCC or the Governments new Consumer Protection Agency should shut this guys down. I have had all the same problems everyone has mentioned but in addition They switched my plan from unlimited to all you need with no notification. I have been on automatic refill for a year and now 3 weeks into my new month my phone stops working and they tell me that I am out of minutes. I know this is impossible but no one there would or could tell me how many minutes their computers showed that I had actually used. THey just kept saying that I had run out of my 1000 minutes. I knew this was not possible, I took my phone added up the minutes from every call I had made and found out I had only used 600 Minutes...WALMART GET RIDE OF THESE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT USE STRAIGHT TALK!!! You will regret it. You get what you pay for, maybe even less. Their customer service is the worst I've ever had to deal with. My phone didn't work after I bought airtime so I had to call for help. Everyone is in India and they get really mad when you ask them to repeat what they said because you couldn't understand them. Also, after 2 hours on the phone one night, and another 2 hours the next night, the problem still has not been fixed. I don't think they can fix it, they don't do much while I'm on the phone with them besides transfer me to different people to talk to so I have to explain what's wrong about ten times. Just go to T-Mobile or Sprint, or anywhere else that has real people to help you!

Spent too much money for a phone and minutes that don't work. Customer service wasn't able to help me. Clerk at store was less than helpful. Actually was able to make one call. Straight talk sucks.

I recently got Straight Talk service, but it was not easy. You are largely on your own, especially with their Bring Your Own Phone program. Fortunately, a very well illustrated instructional video on YouTube walked me through the entire setup...Straight TalkCustomer service is not only useless, it was one of the most aggravating experiences I've had. It's as though someone used all the examples how to create a functionally useless customer service call center.
When I tried activating a Bring Your Own Phone, I was without a phone for several days. The Genius Bar at the Apple Store got my Iphone working in five minutes, after three days of wasted calls to Straight Talk.
Try to set up a new account for an auto refill. All you need to do is get a username and password, right? I can't believe how Straight Talk makes a simple task like that into a mind numbing stressful exercise.
I'd rather have a root canal without novacaine than have to deal with Straight Talk customer service.

The customer service is a F'n joke. AMERICAN REP'S PLEASE!!! I should not have to talk to a person that I and other's could clearly never understand from a foreign country, who's name just happens to be "John". who are you kidding!!! They told me that my phone was acctivated in there system, but when i called any #, it said my phone was deactivated. They just keep saying sr. your phone shows that it's activated. When i told them to call my number to see that it was'nt working, they were at a loss for words. Words that i could understand in the first place. They basically told me i was screwed and there was nothing they could do. Remember this corporate" bad word of mouth travels faster than good word of mouth" and straight talk is speeding!!!!!!

Very Disappointed...I wanted to give Straight Talk(TracFone)a fair shake, the price is reasonable and no contract. Everything was fine until my son's phone stopped working.($200.00 LG Optimus)The journey began with a few calls to a customer service phone number to nowhere.(really) After a few more calls & emails I finally talked to someone, a few transfers later they did agreed the phone was under warranty and would be replaced,(3 months old)and then hung-up twice.(really)This was day one, one week later, more calls and emails. I'm still waiting for mailing info so I can mail phone out. This customer service experience has been nothing short of laughable, a complete spin-cycle routine. Walmart, clearly has not thought out the customer service aspect of Straight Talk or frankly doesn't care. If you bring your own phone to the party you're probably okay. Again, very disappointed, (2) stars is possibly a generous rating.

I am on a six month plan bill is not due till April and I can not use my phone. I do not have $255.00 to throw away. Some body need to do some thing fast, I need my phone.

I purchased a refurbished smart phone online from Straight Talk for my college student. I elected to use the unlimited bundle. This is my test bed to determine if my family will be moving from ATT with our iPhones and other smart phones if the service works. Let me be quick to tell you they do not have the coverage they have represented on the Straight Talk Website. My son received his phone last Wednesday used it for about an hour and it has not worked since. I have called the Customer Service Line 5 times which is out of country in the Philippines when my last rep I spoke with Mayen employee #43445 said, " she was telling me firmly" that the problem he has is with the Verizon tower and to reset the phone in an hour. Ok. That is great since the problem has been going on for over a week and there is no time to resolution. The bottom line is, in the area where my son is, Georgia there are parts they do not have contracts with Verizon. I have since spoken to someone who was difficult to understand out of Miami who yes gave me the same excuse and just suggest to continue to hit *22890 to reset a phone that we have already tried who knows how many times. When I asked to speak to someone on team that is capable of making a decision on options and what we can do ready for this? They are all in meetings, there is no one to talk to, they are all on other calls.... etc. Needless to say, thank goodness I did not switch my phone. This service may work for small children in metro areas like Miami where the head quarters of Straight Talk is, however I will not use this service. Guess I should have just donated that money to charity or threw it out the car window as I was driving down the interstate...... No escalation path to anyone that can make a decision, if it isn't on the script they are reading there is no resolution. Good luck with negotiating a deal with those Verizon towers. It's 2013 not 1989. This is a horrible excuse and false representation. Why put the zip code tool on the site if it doesn't work. I will get my money back and I will continue to inform everyone I know not to purchase this service. The cost of the phone and service does not equal the value of my time wasted to try to figure this out.

I called to transfer my number to another phone now neither phone works. I am very furious. I have to small children and need my phone in case of an emergency. I think straight talk has went down hill. I am considering changing phone carriers so I don't have these problems.
