I installed Windows 10 over a month ago. Today Windows 10 disabled my Kaspersky anti-virus program and notified me that my subscription had expired and they had replaced Kaspersky with Windows Defender. My Kaspersky subscription has over half a year to run. I cannot get any helpful response from Windows.

I am on the NO CALL phone list. Over 6 years ago I had to have tech support. Since then we have gotten rid of that computer and purchased a new computer. I keep getting calls from tech support. I have told them that I no longer have that computer. Just minutes ago I received a phone call from Windows AGAIN and I told them AGAIN that I no longer have that computer. THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END OF THE LINE TOLD ME TO (QUOTE) "STOP LYING"!!!! Are you kidding me? THIS PERSON SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!! I NO LONGER WANT TO RECEIVE PHONE CALLS FROM WINDOWS.

I called them because Gateway told me thwy could not help me with my issue it was a windows issue an I needed to call them.

I did the guy I talked to said it was gateway's issue and not there's.
they can fix the issue but only if I purchase something from them.

I told them no i'm not going to pay them any thing because its an issue with the windows 8 update causing my laptop to just disconnect from the internet sporadically..

It started right after windows updated my laptop. after is finished updating not even 2mins later it was disconnecting..

so yes I KNOW IT WAS THE UPDATE.
the acted like i was trying to pull a fast one on he by even saying it was windows problem an they need to fix it at no cost to me since there is no way to stop it from updating itself..

BUT NO THEY SAY ITS GATEWAYS FAULT NOT THERES AND GATEWAY SAYS ITS WINDOWS FAULT.
SO I AM JUST SCREWED AND NOW OWEN A VERY
EXPENSIVE PAPERWEIGHT..

I WONDER IF I COULD GET $500.00 FOR A PAPERWEIGHT ON EBAY???
