I lease a 2019 XC40. Last week I brought the car into Gunther Volvo in Delray FL. The car was displaying an engine light warning and running rough. Even though the car required a full day to fix no loaner was offered or provided. Today, days later the engine light warning came back on.
We tried calling at 4:45PM and could not get anyone in service to pick up.
It is frustrating enough that there are mechanical problems arising at 16K miles but the lack of service is very bothersome. I will be taking this into consideration when I make a decision about releasing in several months

Within 90 days my key no longer worked. I paid 10k in warranty and I have to pay 30% of the key replacement cost on a malfunctioning key in a car I just bought. $188. Not cool.

Just want to say that I think the Volvo commercial I just saw '” the one with the message about embracing the future '” is offensive and mildly disturbing. We should embrace whatever our future is? What if our future is Fascism? We should embrace that? I know it's just advertising, but huh? Whoever is in charge of advertising needs to think a bit more carefully.

I lease a Volvo XC60 and have had problems with the dashboard alerts since I first leased it. Lately almost all the emergency alerts are on so I brought my car into George Town Volvo in St. James, NY. They had to upload the data to Volvo engineers because the staff at St. James couldn't figure out what the problem was. The damaged computer was disabling my airbags and other safety features. They ordered the part they described as 'the brains of the computer' and didn't overnight it so it will take 2 days. So I explained that i need to travel about 100 miles on business this week so I got a loaner car. The loaner car is 15 years old and bucks like crazy every time i slow down. This car has zero safety features that I have in my XC60 and it is not safe to take on a long trip. I am so disappointed with the quality of the Volvo and the service in not giving me a comparable vehicle to drive while waiting for this defective computer part. I wouldn't recommend Volvo and don't think i will be leasing another one.
