I have found this to be the worst scam. Don't pay for expert service. They tell you you are speaking with a tax expert; however, the reality is you are speaking to someone who is not a CPA. They misrepresent themselves and hang up when you ask for their credentials or proof of it. They also put their friends on the phone to pretend they are their supervisors. Don't pay extra money for expert service you will not receive!
I was on the phone for hours without a simple connection to a CPA. No supervisor /manager call-back after multiple requests.
They will not issue your refund for the year-long expert service. Thieves! Don't make the mistake of putting your financial information into this system or paying for a service you will never receive when needed!

An FTC investigation is needed. Class action lawsuit anyone?

I would not and will not use Turbo Tax again. I have tried for several hours to contact a live breathing person and simply get caught into their maze of automatic responses.

I will never file with turbo tax again . They said that my refund was rejected . They dnt give you full detail nor help fix it so i keep getting the same text everytime i think ive fixed whatever the problem maybe . The irs nothinf is wrong but yet i cannot check my status for my return an its soooo hard trying to get awholed on someone from turbotax to eveb talk to they always have high volume an never calls back . Never again.

They suck! I've tried to work with them over the last 27 hours. First contrast (27 hours ago). They refuse to return my call re: IRS form schedule D. I have tried to contact them 3 to 4 times and they refused to reach back to me.

I would not recommend them for tax support!

yes I like to know how come TurboTax was supposed to be for free federal and state my sister my friend did there's in April and I tried to do mine and my sister in April and I had to pay 29.99 looked and said it had to be done my February the 23 why did they get do there's for free I want my money back

I have been using Turbo Tax for 10+ years, this is the first time they robbed me for $30 for an upgrade while I was trying to file my state taxes. I am very disappointed with their greed. I heard on the news that they were tricking people they same way in the free edition. I figured because I always had a positive experience I'd use them this year. Needless to say they lost a long time customer, I will not be using them in the future, disgusting! No 800 number listed on the Contact Us page....I happy this site is up for times like this : )

I, too, was really angry after all these years as a dedicated Turbo Tax Deluxe user, to find this year that I had to upgrade from Deluxe to Premier just to input my Schedule D information, a $30 upgrade!

I paid to efile but your software will not let me because it doesn't like the fact that NC sent me a 1099G (unemployment) statement showing approx. 500.00 in unemployment and the same exact amount in fed & state tax. I can not help what the state did--I file it like I receive it--I do believe it is correct. So I want the efile payment I made returned. I am filing via US Mail.--Robert Lane --

Customer service lack ethics of service. They have people that lack necessary skills to manage customer service volume which it becomes apparent by keeping you on hold for over an hour to resolve simple task such filing further documentations. sarcastically it seems as though they when to fabricate paper in order to begin any further filing!! I will never use Turbo tax again!!

You did fine job preparing my income tax return BUT you omitted the four estimated payments I made. . I have not given you permission to efile my return because of this egregious mistake. Tell me how you can change my (already paid for_) return OR I will mail in a corrected sheet with my greatly reduced payment.

Screw Turbo tax. I was just about to get the familiar Deluxe but found that now I would have to buy the Premier version only because I had one item for a capital gain! That is so wrong! So I can have someone else do it for less cost!

I filed my taxes feb 2. I havnt got anything past excepted status. Yesterday i received an email from tubotax saying my refund has insufficient funds to pay the fee for filing. When my income tax return has not even been given yet it is still in accepted status. I tried calling TurboTax was left on hold for over 40 minutes. Never got to speak to a human being. this is horrible customer service to send me a bill when the contract agreement was the funds will be taken from my refund. This cannot happen if I never received the refund as of this time. I am still waiting on my refund.

the level of disrespect I am getting and having from turbo tax is beyond comprehension. As long time user of this system and in past quiet satisfied, I am feeling as if this identity stealing of my ss number and birthday is inside job and I am furious about the run around I get from turbo tax. First of all I get no great empathy from company and only thing they want to do is give me free services for 2 years and free credit check, noting for my heartship at all, this company has set a bad taste in my mouth and I am shouting to roof top to facebook /twitter and any other social media on never using this method ,because your as strong as weakest link and as good as your last act.
