During the coronavirus apparently you can still collect money but do not honor your contract agreement for warranty?!?!? I was refused an xchange under any circumstances during the situation. If I pay for a warranty it should be honored. I will no longer be doing business with GameStop in the future due to this.

When I tried to buy something with a GameStop gift card online, it said that the transaction is cancelled and to use a different payment method or contact customer service. Please fix this problem

I purchased a new Xbox online, paid for their express shipping (1-2 days) at an additional $8 bucks on top of the hundreds for the Xbox, it took 6 days to arrive instead, and worse still, it is beat up, scratches on exterior of console, literal knicks in the side showing different colours. Yes the game system does still work, but it is obviously used, not new as was sold. and to make it worse, i could pay to have it shipped back for them to "verify if it is scratched up and used as I claim". hell i could take a picture and email it easier, i have had it for less than 3 hours, and the systems looks to have been in a kids room for a year, completely ripped off, and now i get to pay more to return it! All because it was 40 dollars cheaper than amazons, I am going to stick with amazon going forward, Amazon does mess up sometimes, but they never make you feel like you did something wrong, they just fix it. Mean while they where happy to take my few hundred dollars. What a waste of time and money, and i was excited looking forward to my brand new gaming system. the persons I spoke with were complete blowhards. Don't trust this store unless you physically walk in there to make a purchase, atleast that's the way I am going forward with regards to Gamestop.

In your gilroy store refused service to us all we wanted was to purchase a charger but she claimed the wouldn't they were closed ( doors open ) that's fine gave my business to Best Buy next door

My son and I went in to trade in some games , he was going to buy more games and she made us go to the back of the line so she could help other custmors , to me this is in acceptable and very poor customer service , and to top it off we were the first people even in the store, I'm not happy at all, even tho there were more people in there we should of been helped first! I'm very in happy with this her name is Kaydee 609727,

Order 51812032017335527 oredered 12/3. Digital gift card. Charged by bank12/5. Called GameStop in 12/6 at 9 am and told to call during business hours 830-10pm. Next emailed 12/6 And email back said to call customer service. Called and waiting for 45 min for answer. Was told would be emailed to [email protected] Within 3 Days. Never recieved email. NOT in spam. On hold currently to cancel order and get refund due to horrible customer service and 10 days without my order. No one answering.

I traded a Nintendo switch that worked but was damaged for a new refurbished one at game stop. I called game stop less than half an hour of my transaction on Nintendo reps. suggestion to see if he could just de-activate my original console. It was in a low volume rural area -California, MD.- My console had a bar code and I had to use my I.D. to trade in my old console but the manager told me there was no way he could find the console I just traded in. He told me to call Nintendo and when I told him Nintendo suggest I call him - Nintendo rep. even offered to conference call but I declined assuming game stop would be more helpful- considering this was 30 minutes after purchase this was just pure laziness on game stop managers behalf. Please reprimand game stop manager at California, MD. Store on 9-9-18. I already complained to them. It took two days for me to play the switch I bought. Nintendo staff that helped me was very helpful and I appreciated their helpfulness. If gamestop managers can't recover a console with a barcode that I used my personal I.D. to complete trade in a rural low volume area I feel sorry for customers in populated cities. Again manager at California, MD. Store On 9-9-18 needs to be trained. Maybe it was his first day and he was an outside hire from target. That is the only reason I could see him not being able to recover a console turned in less than an hour after transaction. Nintendo rep. told me to call him and said they often help. He told me he couldn't help and to call Nintendo.

I've been sitting on hold for over an hour for the second time in 3 days after I discovered a fraudulent Gamestop charge on my paypal account the day after Thanksgiving. I submitted a dispute claim with PayPal and had it denied for some reason and am now attempting to take it up with Gamestop. I've emailed them twice and received no response. Given the number of "Gamestop customer service sucks" references I've found online, I'm not very hopeful. I guess I'm posting this in hopes that you'll think twice before shopping there. I certainly never will give them $.

Had I read the dozens upon dozens of complaints across the Internet that exist concerning dealings with GameStop I would have been more careful in dealing with them. Instead of doing research first, I made the mistake of placing an order with them. Now I am in the same predicament that hundreds of others have found themselves in.

On Thanksgiving Day I ordered a PS4 Pro online from GameStop. Never have used this company before, I did so because of a special deal they were running. After completing the order, I saw a better deal on BestBuy's online site.

I tried to cancel the order from GameStop. Thing is, there is no way to cancel an order. From what I found out later, the company makes it absolutely impossible for customers to cancel and order once placed from them. There is no email link to write customer support anywhere on their site. There is a toll-free customer support line which I will talk more about in a moment. The only other way to contact tier-one support is via an app that one must download on their mobile device and then select FEEDBACK. GameStop makes it as difficult as possible to reach customer support.

I did send support a ticket via their app, and on Thanksgiving day I received a reply saying my order could not be stopped. Now, think about this. Nobody works the warehouse on Thanksgiving day. There is no way my order could have been packaged and processed --- especially since GameStop explicitly states that it takes one day for order processing.

So, let's talk about their toll-free number. I called four times during Thanksgiving day to reach someone. On each call, I was on hold for 70 minutes until I finally hung up each time.

Now, one could say that an expected surge in call volume would be expected during a holiday weekend. I would normally agree with that. However, if you take a moment to Google "cannot get through on GameStop phone support," you will find a multitude of threads from various gaming forums where angry customers talk about this specific issue. It seems like, at any given time, GameStop will keep people on hold for well over 30 minutes -- no matter what time of year you call. There are customers who speak of having to keep their speakerphone running for well over 30 minutes while they continue doing their own business.

I finally get through to GameStop support the day after Thanksgiving. On this particular call, I was on hold for 75 minutes before an operator answered. The operator was rude. Even though my order was listed as still being "open," the day after a holiday, the operator told me that my order was already packaged and being processed for delivery.

As I sit here and write this complaint, now 3 days later, my order is still listed as being "open." It has not been shipped. I have not been provided with a tracking number. This is a simple case of GameStop not wanting to stop the order and making the customer go through the process of returning the item.

If anyone thinks that my complaint is unfounded, I invite you to Google "GameStop complaints." You will be amazed just how many other customers experienced the same issue where within an hour of placing an order with the company, GameStop refused to cancel the order. In fact, complaints across the Internet cite rude and uncooperative customer support.

Some customers are even complaining that GameStop makes it impossible to return shipped orders as they put no return address on the package. That's something I cannot confirm as of yet, but will be watching for as I plan to refuse my shipment.

It just amazes me that this company is still in existence and has been allowed to treat customers in this manner.

I will be posting negative reviews on the Internet as well as updating them with any additional issues I experience with this company. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Once my charge hits the credit card, I will be putting a stop to payment. I am not even going to allow the company to collect a dime off of me. They will get their package back one way or another, but I won't be paying for it.

I'm never going to game stop again I got off work today to get my son a PlayStation 4 for black Friday I waited in the Gamestop for 2 hours and they were handed tickets and they didn't give me and others tickets we we're waiting their for no reason they didn't even tell us they were out of them which is messed up which is bs

Just as the other comments indicate Game Stop on-line and customer service pretty much sucks! My son attempted to order downloadable content on line. He received an error message for the order, but guess what - it deducted the money from his gift card. He attempted the purchase a couple of time and each time he tried it deducted the funds yet he never received the content. We sent an email via the on-line link and a week in, we have received no response. I tried calling the customer service number and of course I have not been able to speak with anyone. Based upon the other comments here, I'm thinking legal action my be in order.

I'm sending this email regarding an order that I order on December, when I placed the order the item was available online but within a few days, we get an email saying that the item is out of stock and what not. So you guys give me a phone number to call and when I called, one of your customer service representative is being very rude to me. And also threaten to hung up on me when I'm trying to get my refund for the item that I paid for and ran out of stock. He also put me on hold for a good 30 mins saying he can't find my order information. Then when he finally found it, he ask for my credit card that I use for the purchase, and I gave it to him and its has been more then 2 weeks and I still haven't got my refund. So what up with that? What I want is to get my refund as soon as possible because I did paid for the items but you guys said it out of stock or whatever reason. So please give me my refund back as soon as possible, and that's all I'm asking. And once again I call today, the same guy pick up, and he keep putting me on hold while he doing a search for my order number when I literally just gave it to him and he still put me on hold for 10 mins, and keep saying that I'm not giving him the order numbers, and he hung up on me. So you guys really need to do something about this person, when I ask for his name he hung up on me. I just want my refund and that's it. I do not want to deal with this person anymore.

These guys are a bunch of THIEVES. Never order online through GameStop you will never get your order and will never get a hold of their customer service. I was on hold for over 2 hours and just gave up and hung up. I also sent multiple emails with no response. Now I will have to file a dispute with my bank after I just spent over $200.00 online with them.

IM WARNING EVERYONE OUT THERE DO NOT ORDER THROUGH GAMESTOP WEBSITE. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM THEM OR GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE FROM THEIR CUSTMER SERVICE.

Placed an order yesterday, and realized that their 2 day shipping doesnt include weekends. That would have been nice to know before ordering. You should add that information to your shipping page when checking out.
Now I've been on hold for 42 minutes.
This is ridiculous!

Same as everyone else. Purchased games through their website and I didn't get all the games I ordered. It's been over a week, no response to my emails and after waiting 1 hour and 49 minutes for help over the phone, I give up!!!

I have sent multiple emails for days. Called several times daily and after an hour or more on hold i get disconnected. today I have sent 5 emails..no reply, and have been on hold with 2 phone lines for 2 hrs and 55 minutes currently. Logging into the website does nothing and tells you nothing. They are single handedly ruining Christmas for me and for the under privledged child I was ordered a gift for from them. IF I ever get this resolved I will NEVER use them again and urge everyone I know to avoid this company.

I ordered a game on Nov. 30th. The order didn't get processed until Dec. 4th. I had order it for overnight shipping, and delivery was never made after 1 WEEK. When I notice the order was delayed for 4 days, I tried to email Gamestop Customer service to help me trace the order. NEVER EVER GOT A REPLY BACK. I called their customer service number and it took me almost 1 hour to get someone on the line. Unfortunately, she had a heavy accent that I could barely understand her. What's worse is she said they will send me a replacement, and I still have yet to see this replacement! I am staying far away from Gamestop online service. Now I'm stuck on the phone waiting 1 hour to resolve this. What a sick joke this is!

Bought three games online on the 4th. After waiting a couple days only one had shipped. Couple days later the next shipped. I emailed gamestop asking why processing was taking so long on the one game. No answer. Over the weekend the other shipped. Next day the two that had shipped first arrived. Nothing was happening on shipping for the last game so i email gamestop again and no response. The next date tracking said it would be here that day. It never showed up due to weather. Understandable. Next day same thing only there was no weather to delay. Called ups package never left the office, it got left along with the other packages that were to be delivered that day. It has now been delayed 4 times for no reason. Im thinking it has been lost. I should have had my game by now. Havent been able to contact gamestop, ive sat on hold for an hour with no one taking my call. Im on the phone again now. All i want is a refund. It will be 7 days on monday for delivery on this game. Gamestop customer service is a joke and I will never order online again. This was the worst experience I have had ordering online other than walmart.

For Christmas and HAVE NONEXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We will be returning EVERYTHING. Ripping up about $700 worth of GameStop gift cards our kids have accumulated over the last few years and bombard social media with NEGATIVE reviews of this company!!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS

Over a month ago I ordered and paid for two PS4 controllers. They sent only one. I've sent 3 emails and waited on hold at this phone number to no avail. Their customer service is non-existent. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB and suggest you do the same.
