I went to my local Costco to buy a throw on sale for $10. There were only empty boxes. I Approached an employee for help and he directed me to another employee wearing a red shirt with a radio so she could call the loading department.
When I got to her she informed that she would be right with me after she was finished with the current customer she was dealing with. I waited patiently just looking at other products.
The next time I saw her she was attending to another customer with printer paper. I just continued to wait.
She then was going to another older couple to help then with Apple products. This time I approached her to inform her that I have been patiently waiting for my turn.
While still walking with her back turned to me she yelled at me that she has to attend to people when they need help.
I asked her what she meant by that. Am I not considered a person. I told her to continue helping people and I went to check out.
I am a Nurse Practitioner and work in the Emergency Room with Dignity Health in Downtown Sacramento.
All I wanted was to get a throw to use while at work due to the high number of Covid patients and since we are in the flu season we have been working around the clock. This was my first day off in almost a month. I was dressed casual, I am Black in my early 30's and a foreigner.
So she chose to disregard my request for help and be so rude an unprofessional for no reason. I have been an Executive Costco Member for more than 10yrs.
When I spoke to one of the managers he was not surprised but said that he would speak with her.
I took a video of the whole incident and I am seriously considering posting it on Social Media platforms because that's the only way to get a clear massage to corporate.
I would really prefer that the whole store get Customer Service retraining.

I've been a Costco member for years. I am not happy with this new mandate or rule or whatever it is that you're doing about forcing people to wear a face covering or a shield in the Costco stores.therefore, I will not be going to Costco again until this issue is resolved and you are no longer forcing people to do this because it is not legal it is wrong.

Hi, please help with this. My family often shop at Mountain View Costco. We found that 15 or 20 minutes away, Sunnyvale Costco or Redwood City Costco, overall their prices are cheaper. For example: Over there $4.99 for 12-count croissant and $5.99 at Mountain view Costco, For 40-oz biscotti, It's $9.99 at Sunnyvale or Redwood city Costco, but $10.99 at Mountain view. This situation is a regular instance. We found it troubling. Could you inform Mountain View Costco to adjust their prices please? Thank you!

I just visited your warehouse on walker rd in Windsor it will take me a long time or possibly never walk in your store again. The photo centre person was kinda rude so it brought the rudeness out on me. My pictures were not done well she commented that everything is automatic know and basically my fault fee not choosing the correct size so it would print correctly I asked doesn't someone check as being printed. Her quick response was we do have enough staff for that. Then she promptly put her hand up and told me to look around not a good thing I would think. The suggestion was to reorder in a different size I wasn't sure if I wanted to do that so until I was done looking at the other pictures I then said yes I would order another size. So she said I can do it from home or the kiosks in the area. What has happened to customer service she could have done it right there or helped me do it. She wanted no part of it. You know if you choose to talk with her good but if not your choice however I will be not shopping there until I feel that it's my only choice. I have had a membership for a long time. And a gain big company don't seem to think that there are other options to shop. There are lots so I will doing my homework as looking for more options. I have worked in retail my whole life and yes we all get bad days customers shouldn't feel like they are a bother.

Bought a cooked chicken fresh from the oven on Monday the 24th of June 2019. It was not good in that it did not taste good and the legs were slimy and really tasted bad. This chicken was almost as bad as the one I bought a couple of months ago that I could not even eat. I use to love Costco roasted chickens.
I felt ill from the little I ate of the one yesterday. I had given a couple bites to my dog and she got diarrhea overnight. Not pretty.
No more roasted Costco Chickens for me! Both Chickens were purchased from the Costco on N. Blackstone in Fresno, CA.

I have the crystal water deal that i got at the spatanbrug sc store i have been out of water the last 4 days was to get water every 2 weeks on tuesday this is not the 1st time i have had a problem with this company. they just want do what they say as of now i told them today to pick up there stuff i have been a member for a good long time so i would like a reply to this please. my phone nuber is 828-748-6467.

I just returned to Costco in Kalispell, MT. an unopened bottle of TUMS Antacid which I purchased on line and was billed $10.99 on my Bank of America credit card. I received the package via UPS two days ago, August 22nd. I was credited $9.29 (11.70 less a $2.50 charge).
I am curious what that charge was for.

Problem with Patriot blind service ordered eight week ago and I called to check on estimated date which is 7/25/18 . I was not given installation date after all this time only excuses . Want to cancel order with them as I used my Costco city card and will have paid in full and received no blinds and am very unhappy about this service.

One month ago I had service experts install 20 thousand worth of hearing and air conditioning. My air conditioning does not work because the condensation pump does not work. I have tried for 4 weeks to have someone from Service Experts to fix it. No one has come out to fix the pump. My garage is flooded with water.

Member (since 1993). I admit I made a mistake to send my daughter to return an item ( TX ID 814600051389) the cashier was rude with her. My daughter complained to the manager then the cashier apologized. The manager offered her to go & shop to replace what was returned. Then at check out Supervisor KIM rushed to the cashier while my daughter were standing in line and after she already paid, yelling and grabbed my membership card & said "she is not a member" and through the card on the counter. When I learned about this I took my daughter & drove to Costco (Store # 239) and confronter KIM with the manager's help. She remained rude & obnoxious. At this moment I said I'm not talking about the polocy I'm talking about the way you talked to my daughter. NOW, I deeply believe that Supervisor KIM was a racist because my daughter is a Muslim and she wears a HIJAB. I'm not sure if Costco tolerates discrimination against customer based on race/religion/gender???? I'm demanding Costco to apologize on behalf of Supervisor KIM & in the future, when I visit that store I'll refuse her service.

DO NOT BUY TIRES FROM COSTCO! Their road hazard warranty has a lot of holes in it. I purchased 2 new tires in 8/2017 and got a nail in the last row of the tire and Costco would not repair. I had to pay the difference after prorate,$45. Its not the cost, it is the idea that Costco will lead you to believe they will honor their road hazard warranty. If I take the tire elsewhere to repair, it nullifies the entire warranty.
On the 2nd tire, Costco placed it on the front instead of the back (wothout my knowledge & against my request for the new tire to be in the back). I then picked up a nail in the older tire in the rear and now Costco will not repair due to there was a previous repair on that tire. Of course, this is not listed in paperwork or road hazard so now I have to replace a 2nd tire in 8 months due to gaps in road hazard warranty.
Customer beware. Even if you read small print, Costco does not list EVERYTHING that is & is not covered by their warranty.

during a recent shopping trip to Poway Costco in san diego ca, I somehow cut my hand rather deeply, an employee noticed I was walking through the store holding my hand and asked if she could help, she immediately directed me to the ladies room and had me wash the wound, then giving me a bandaid and contacting a manager to see if I needed further help. I am so impressed with this woman who I later found out her name. I would like to let Costco know that this woman was my angel and wanted to let her boss know that I greatly appreciated her help!! please recognize Bethann for this . Thank you

I had an incredibly positive experience recently at store number 462 in Carlsbad, CA. Through no fault of Costco, I attempted to return an item that is not "returnable". I did not know that was the case. Christina Josephine and Katelyn Williams quickly took charge, explained the policy, offered to allow my return this one time and did this all with warmth, humor and efficiency. Please extend my thanks to them for their excellent customer service. i have been singing Costco's and their praises since.

Bought 4bridgestonr tires for my sons car when he came to visit.we live in Cary NC.he lives on NY.when he went home he got a flat a month later.he went to Costco in Nanuet NY.they told him they couldn't do any for him because I bought the tires in NC under my name.if they told me that when I bought the tires I never would have bought them here.he had to go to another tire dealer and pay $150 for a new tire.I used to spend $300-400 dollars when I went to Costc.since then I haven't spent a penny there nor will I ever.they just didn't care enough to fix the problem.thats what bothered me the most.this idiotic policy of if you buy it here we don't guarantee it anywhere else.

Extremely disappointed from the computer service in the Nashua New Hampshire Costco store. I wanted to buy today Microsoft Surface from your promotion ($299 off) which expired today. The person that was supposed to help me could not find the micro SD RAM slot, and said there isn't one, and as a result I didn't buy the machine. Your web page specified there is an SD RAM slot. Back home I researched the Surfaces, and effectively found the slot location, at a not very obvious place on the Surface. I'm not supposed to know everything about an apparatus I see for the first time. Your "helper" is supposed to know and show. He was more ignorant than myself, and that is he was of zero help, even though these folks are there to help. Because of his ignorance I lost your deal, and as a result I won't purchase a Surface from Costco, for what you care.

Please keep "My Pillow" out of your stores.
The sales people are overly slick and slimy, and they are trying to con customers into buying an overpriced, substandard product they don't need.
The owner has polluted the radio and t.v. airwaves, as well as Facebook, with incessant and annoying commercials.
And he's been repeatedly cited for false and misleading advertising, all of which you can find on Google.
"My Pillow" does not belong in Costco.

Not sure how to reach out about this but I was in the boise Idaho stor 2 months ago and I was asked at the checkout register to go to customer service. When I did they told me I needed to update my address. And to my surprise they told me there where 2 old rebates that had got returned due to my address change and it wouldn't be a problem at all to reissue hem to me . The gal even asked another man if that could be done. One was for $18 and one was for $196. I was very excited! About 6 weeks later I received the $18 one but not The $196. I called the store 2 days ago and she said because this one was older I probably wouldn't get it but she resent it to corporate. I feel that I should be issued the rebate as 2 people told me it would happen and I never received it no matter how old it was I still never got it . If you could please get back on this to me I would appreciate it as I spend a lot of money at costco! Thank you very much .

Why O Why can I not order my contacts over the phone... They tell me come in or order online... well that's a friction point for me... that's not customer service.. they give me some story about how do they know who I am.. I am in their system and have order before.. really I am sure trolls are just calling everyday to scam them on contact reorders for a member.. I can do my prescriptions over the phone.. why not contacts... well time to switch to Amazon.. at least they try to provide a service.. or have valid reason for not doing it..

Unable to reach an actual person. Maybe COSTCO has become so big that corporate has forgotten that the customer is the profit. While conversely, staff are the overhead.This applies to my issue germane to the Mt. Prospect, IL store.

I visited Costco warehouse store in North riverside on May 20 2017, Il, I am trying to find the coconut cookie(item 167434), which should be available based on the monthly coupon flyer, however, I couldn't find it in the store, I asked several costco employee, and one told me to check aisle 301, so, following her suggestion, I checked aisle 301, but I could not find it. another one told me to check aisle 303, I checked, it was not in there, then the third one told me to ask the person in red jacket working in the service desk, so I go to the desk and ask that lady and she told me the cookie was near the cooler area, I went there to check, it was not in there, then I came back to the service desk, the lady ask one employee to find the cookie for me, so I wait and wait, then the guy came back and ask me for the item number to check whether it was available, then he told me there should be 200 bags hiding in somewhere in the store, he will keep to find it for me, I am very appreciated for his help and keep waiting, finally he came back with nothing, then the lady in red jacket told me the cookie was not available in the store. When I heard this, I feel so bad since I had been walking around and keeping waiting for more than two hour, if anyone in the store told me the truth and issued me a rain check, I will feel happy to leave. But after keeping the customer for two hour, then saying it was not available, that apology was not acceptable. so I terminated my costco membership immediately as My answer to their service. My suggestion to Costco is, their employee should be trained well and realize that "anyone's time is valuable". My feeling is their service attitude went down and down. I hope this could draw attention to the Costco CEO.

I would like to suggest that you improve the returns and customer service department in the East Bayamon Store in Puerto Rico (#363).

On Friday, March 17 I purchased several items. By mistake a bought the wrong HP ink cartridges. I realized my mistake when I got to my car, and walked back to the store immediately. Then my torture began. First, I had to wait in the returns line. Then the employee in the returns department told me to go to the customer service department in front of the cash registers. There I had to wait a long time in line again. I thought the the customer service employee was going to ask another employee to get the product that I wanted. Instead he asked me to get my product myself. When I returned, he asked to wait in line again. This was the 3rd time that I had to wait in line.

The reason I am writing this is because I have been a loyal Costco customer for many years. However, my experience today was very, very disappointing.
