After 1 hour of trying to put the handle on ur tightline spinning reel, I figured I'd need 10 hands and 5 tongues. I finally found the answer among all the garbage on the internet. Simply screw it in in reverse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! How bout listing that in ur instructions!

The return policy and time frames for getting reimbursement is absolutely unaccceptable........ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!

So...this just happened at Cabalas in Allen, TX. I gave the manager over the reloading/hunting department (Richard) a list of items to order, and get into the store for purchase, almost four weeks ago. Have repeatedly gone in and checked on the progress with many excuses given. Went in today and asked Richard about the progress...his response was..."I gave the list to a "specialist" and it's out of my hands"...as he resumed his work on shelving inventory. As of today...the new rifle that I had preordered, the list of needed items, and my future business with the Cabellas store has ended. No customer should have to beg a manager to do what he was hired to do...taking care of the very people that keep this company (and his very job) running. Wanted to keep my money local...however...Richard doesn't seem to really care about the customer as much as he cares about keeping Corporate happy. Thanks Cabelas for the many years that you've allowed me to frequent your store...but I am not going to give you any more of my time or money. Sincerely, A very disappointed former customer.

So dissapointed. Waited back in firearms area for 50 minutes with the number we pulled on the screen and no help. On a friday they had one guy back there who seemed to not care about the customers who pulled the numbers. He took whoever in front of us. We waited 50 minutes. I even went and said something to a manager and still nothing done. Stood there for over 15 minutes waiting after speaking to a manager and still no one helped. We wanted to buy a 9 mm and a seekings lower. I have a cabelas credit card and have spent alot and am so dissappinted in the way cabelas in Avon helps their customers. Wasted over hour there and no help at all. Dont think i will go back.

I recently contacted a cabelas representative about a faded microtex outfit. It took me at least 40 minutes and two different reps to get any answers. The suit is 6 years old but lightly used. I have an older identical suit which has NOT faded. After agreeing to accept it back for at least a gift card so I could purchase something i could use I returned it. After receiving the suit it was sent back with a note. The note stated it was determined that it had faded due to wear. I could almost accept this if I didn't have an older suit that wasn't faded! I bought this suit because the add said fade resistant. So much for Cabelas legendary guarantee? I am extremely unhappy with the out come of my return. At the very least once agreeing to the return. I should have received a phone call explaining why it was denied not just a letter. I have purchased a lot of items from cabelas but after this experience and their unwillingness to back their product. I am not going to support this company again.

For Xmas I recieved gift cards . I purchased a new real tree hoodie at the Calgary store. I have washed it twice and noticed there is a flaw in the material and it has started shredding in the one spot . Went I went to the store to get it exchanged as I feel this is a flaw in the material I was told they only have a 90 day return policy . I'm disappointed that Cabelas would not exchange it for me . Do you not stand behind your products that you sell with the Cabelas label . I have never had a problem at Bass Pro with there redhead product they sell .

I went to Cabela's in Avon for the grand opening checked out the aquarium boy was I disappointed water was cloudy Fish were dying ? The represented was telling the kids that were upset that it is normal for large Walley to dye when you set up a aquarium ? Really these are the kind of people you have representing live animals ? All the kids were really upset. Just unbelievable a large Co. Was not able to set up the aquarium months ago and have it cycled for the grand opening. Really disappointed

What is up with your prices? $240 for a pair of pants,$270 for a rain jacket,etc. Fools who sell at these prices and bigger Fools to buy at these prices. I find myself laughing at your clothing prices. I'll never buy at these prices. No big sizes(3x,4x) either?? So I must be a rich and tiny person to go hunting?? Or to shop at your store? I'll wear my 3piece suite into the woods or go naked.....much cheaper these ways. Amazing!

So I called the scarborough maine cabelas store because I wanted to buy a heritage rough rider 22 revolver combo. I was told they had one left in stock and they pulled it aside for me as I had to drive 1 hour to get it. Got there, took it out of the box and it looked liked someone had used it for a hammer. The guy suggest I buy new grips for it. Really? The gun had various scratches and dings and this was suppose to be a new gun. I was told I could not even get a discount on it.
I understand that it is only a two hundred dollar gun but still shouldn't have been that way. This was suppose to be my first purchase using my cabelas points from my cabelas card. Two hour round trip for nothing. Very dissapointed....

I recently signed up for your rewards card while purchasing a 350$ item.there was around 25$ on the card.now the balance is only 15$!!I haven't spent that money!!!why is your company being Indian givers?I wish I showed elsewhere now because I called customer service and they lied.first the rep said that ya the money was taken,then when I asked for it back she put me on hold came back and said that my balance was always 15$!!what the hell?

Ordered a $688 item on 11-13. Store pickup. Was told would be at store on 11-25. I have checked order status and have talked to reps. No one can tell me where my order is or when it will be at store. I keep getting later dates and excuses. Poor order tracking. Would not do this with Cabela again.

Called to get a price on a rifle at the Columbus Ohio Cabelas. Called twice and after waiting 4 to 5 minutes for someone to answer, was finally transferred, then, after no answer after 4 to 5 min was hung up on twice!!

Then the third time after the usual 4 to 5 min for someone to answer, was asked to leave a message! Really! Want good service and good prices Columbus?? Go to Vances like I did.

Oh and by the way, I am a Club member with a Silver status, may be my last. I am a patient man but when you wait on the phone for over 15 minutes you would expect as least the courtesy for someone to at least answer and say " we are extremely busy can you call back later or can I take a message. Also this is not the first time this has happened!

If that would have happened on the first call I would not be pissed!but yep now I'm pisssed!!!

Did Cabela's stop guaranteeing their hunting gear? I went to the Tualatin, Or. Cabela's store to exchange a pair of $89.00 rain pants that huckleberry bushes had poked holes in. I was rudley told by the return dept. and management this rain gear was only to wait out the rain storm. I explained I have heavier rain and hunting gear but this was supposed to be a packable and light weight rain pant for earlier hunts. (we had early high cascade deer tags)

My visa club credit card was stolen. there was NO number to call for lost or stolen credit cards. I was on hold for an hour for the customer service number my wife found on the visa statement and my cell battery went dead. by the time the card was cancelled, the thief could have used my whole credit line. what kind of an operation are you running Cabelas?

Someone called from California and talked to a coworker to let them know they did not have the inventory to fill my order . I think that I ordered from you and your partner company should of left message for me to call back or someone from Cabela's should of contacted me. The two pack of socks is not that big of a deal but the way it was handled was very weak.

Definitely not satisfied!I purchased a meat stuffer and use it once a year to process 150 lbs. of meat. Upon using it for the second time it broke. It had a plastic wing nut to hold it to the vertical shaft. The plastic broke. I ordered the new parts and hired a local machinist to reproduce it from stainless steel. The customer service said it was not under warranty. I was surprised to see that the new parts were now 'all metal stainless steel '. Now I am upset because if the plastic was okay why would they switch to the stainless steel instead of the less expensive plastic that they sold me ???????????

What a big dissapointment to wait for over 30 minutes to have your call picked up and then when you ask to speak to customer service you wait for 20 minutes more. I know it is a busy time of the year but this is a long wait. My husband gave me a page out of your catalog and when I called to order it, the item was no longer on sale? It did not state this on the page he gave me? The lady from customoer service (Patty). Would not do anything but state how sorry she was. No I am sorry that my husband who loves your company will not get the item since he would not give up the entire catalog. The first page or cover has a date on it? Who knew? not me the one who was going to place the order but didn't since it was no longer on sale. I will pass this information on to his 5 daughters to not order cause the items will no longer be good. He was not letting go of his favorite store. I am sorry to say it is not my favorite one cause I am not able to get what he wanted due to him ripping out the page. Sad day for him and myself. thank you for taking time to listen. Take care. I have spent several hours and multiple phone calls to 800-237-4444 today attempting to get a lilve customer service person (forget the title "outfitters"). In spite of persistance and effort I have struck out 100%. I have used Cabelas for years and carry a "black credit card" run by Cabelas which we use almost exclusively. I hope I would be termed a very good customer.

The present Cabelas service level is unacceptable and is forcing me to rethink my continuation with the company. To say the least I am very frustrated and willing to change for good service which used to be the mantra of Cabelas.
