I am really disappointed in the lack of commitment this corporation shows its customers. Other than store brand merchandise, i see little difference between BJs pricing and Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods or Food Lion unless coupons are offered. I've been a member of the BJs in Raleigh Brier Creek for a little over a year. I joined and got a BJs card mostly to get better gas pricing, but I have found that Starbucks Cafe Verona is almost always $4 off with a coupon. This week I got two reminder emails to shop at BJs. One about store wide sale, the other that my coffee coupon was about to expire. Today when I went to get coffee, the coupon on my credit card and an additional on I had in my wallet were expired. I spent a while at the customer service desk looking for the right coupon. No one helped me. After a while I left the store without purchasing anything. I also have a Costco membership. Costco automatically credits me the coupon with having to look through catalogues. I have had enough of BJs hospitality. Please made sure my membership does not auto renew in the future.
